" You did enjoy dancing with all the men ogling and touching you", hissed Solly to Shai as they were returning.

Shai shrugged.

" I like to dance. And last I know I am here to enjoy myself".

" What about your fiance", Solly said with clenched teeth.

" Caleb", she shrugged. " He is broad minded".

" So you are allowed to cheat on him", said Solly sarcastically.

" Look who is speaking. Pot Kettle black", said Shai calmly.

" Ya Allah this is a nightmare", said Solly. And he sulked.

" Thanks", said Maddy to Kiara. " I owe you one".

She smiled. " Its fine. I liked your mother though. And you are right. She is an independent woman. She might have suffered with your father dictating her life".

Maddy shrugged. " I am glad they separated. Strange right. Together they were a nightmare. I used earmuffs to sleep".

" I get you", Kiara held his hand.

" She was crying when she returned", hissed Myra to Parry.

" Swear on God we did nothing", replied Parry.

" What happened"?

" She came , confessed her love and sacrificed it for her kingdom and people. And left crying".

Parry halted then spoke, "Myra I know Raj. If he does not get her he will die." He was serious.

" Damn this nightmare", she said. " I need a smoke. Kenny is too righteous", she said.

Parry agreed. But this is what made her different and this is what made Raj lose his heart to her.

" I saw Lisa", said Grace softly to Ro. " She was beautiful. Laxmi aunty said she was very intelligent and resilient too".

" So is maa", sighed Ro. " Yet they both fell for the smarmy heartless b*st*rd. Used them both. He was their worst nightmare. Best thing he is dead. A thing me and my brother agree on".

" Its not that bad between you two as its with Raj", she asked.

" Well thankfully Prakhar has brains and is not guided by Kamini", smiled Ro.

" Speaking of brothers imagine Raj travelling with twins and Kenny smirked Maddy.

" Boy I would have paid to watch that drama", chuckled Parry.

" She did not even sleep properly last night", said a worried Myra. " You", she pointed to Kiara ; " should have let me travel with her".

" Chill Myra", said Kiara calmly.

" Kenny is a big girl. She knows how to handle situations. And tell me this till when we will shield her. Those two will fight. Over her, the business and over the throne. Professionally Kenny has taken a side. Soon she has to choose one of the man too. So let her take the decision. "

" These two are on another level", said Maddy to Parry. Kiara earned the respect of Raj's lieutenants.

Kenny was in her personal nightmare

" Shiva what wrong did I do now", she whined.

She travelled with the twins and Raj in a sedan. Rakesh took the seat with the driver. She was sandwiched between the two men who were fighting over her.

" I liked being your plus one", said Rahul sweetly to her holding her hand.

" Rahul I liked being there with you too", she said softly.

Raj took the other hand. " I am thankful you went to temple with me".

Kenny closed her eyes.

Shiva help me.

" You went to temple with him", asked Rahul.

" The priest blessed our union too", smirked Raj.

" WHAT", Rahul was shocked.,

" I am not with him", she said to Rahul pointing to Raj. " And I am not with him either", she pointed to Rahul. " I am me. I want to be alone. I want to focus on my work".

" I don't mind a working wife", said Rahul.

" We can do our business together", said Raj.

" Did you both miss the point where I said I am not looking for a relationship now", said Kenny.

" When did you say it", asked Raj.

" Maybe later. I can wait", said Rahul.

" Shiva help me this is my worst nightmare", she exclaimed.

But the nightmare has just begun.....

As Solly entered the palace he met the man who destroyed his love.

" Shai".

" CALEB", she ran to him hugging him.

" Fazal", she hugged him too. Fazal and Caleb were brothers. Ibrahim married a Britisher Jane and had twin sons Caleb and Fazal .

" Hey Solly", Caleb greeted him. " Heard you guys went to a wedding. Had fun"?

" Ohh Shai had fun. I am sure she can tell you all about it", said Solly angrily.

" Ohh don't mind him", said Shai. " A guy hit him. You know he likes to flirt with girls. The boyfriend got him", she said loudly.

Caleb and Fazal started laughing as Solly scoffed and left.

" So you are Caleb", said Maddy. " Nice to meet you".

" You are his friend right", said Caleb.

" Yeah", said Maddy.

" Thanks for being that", said Caleb. " He rarely gels with others".

Maddy looked at him for a long time. Then he smiled.

" I am glad to be wrong about you", he said.

" Welcome".

" Solly's friends are as wierd as him", said Fazal putting a hand over Caleb's shoulder.

" I think we have lots to talk", said Caleb to Shai.

" Yeah", said Shai as they moved together to her room.

At that very moment a fuming Kenny marched into the room with Raj and Rahul following her like pups.

" I SWEAR TO GOD IF I TRAVELLED WITH EITHER OR BOTH OF THEM AGAIN I'LL BE IN PRISON FOR HOMICIDE", screamed Kenny.

Rakesh followed them shaking his head.

" Was it that bad", asked Kiara.

" They ate her brain", said Rakesh "Though I must confess I enjoyed the show".

" I was being a perfect gentleman ", said Rahul.

" More like a street urchin", scoffed Kenny.

" I was disciplined too", said Raj.

" You and disciplined. If you and that word meet on top of volcano its a free fall to Lava", she screamed.

Everyone started laughing.

" Okay Kenny calm down and come with me", said Grace. " I'll prepare you a herbal tea. Do you need a massage"?

" Yes please", she replied pressing her head. " Angel", she smiled.

" What did I do", said Raj.

" I think you need to shut up", said Kiara.

" I agree", said Rakesh.

" He is leaving", said Parry as he and Maddy pulled Raj back to his room.

Solly saw Caleb come out of Shai's room late at night. Of course he could not sleep.

" Goodnight. Love you", said Caleb. Shai just smiled and waved.

Solly didn't let her close as he rntered her room forcefully.

" Welcomed your fiance back in you bed Shai", he said with dripping sarcasm.

" What the hell do you want", she asked angrily.

" How many men did you sleep with", he asked.

" Ohh let me think", she said. " Oh yeah way less than the number of girls you dropped your p*nts for".

" I could just hit you", he said.

" Don't even think about that. No one lays a hand on me", she said.

" Do you enjoy leading men on to your bed and then leaving them after a taste? Does Caleb know about that", asked Solly.

" A bit of correction there", said Shai. " I did not run after spending night with you. I believe it was the other way round. And my relationship with Caleb; you are no one to comment on it."

" I just want to kill you and then myself", said Solly.

" Did I say this when you spend your nights with other girls?"

" That was different", said Solly.

" Why Solly? Because you are a man. And my hym*n is my virtue. You bigot. What should I do now that I don't have it? Jump off a building to kill myself".

Solly was shocked. The thought of Shai killing herself hurt him hard. Suddenly he had a vision of her doing just that . And he felt a pain of thousand bullets immersed in his body.

" Shai no", he said weakly.

" Buzz off Solly", said Shai.

He quietly left. Shai was really disturbed now.

" No man will ever control me", she reassured to herself.

She had this itching feeling in her heart of men controlling her behaviours . She didn't know why? Numaan and Zaid and even Caleb always respected and supported her decision.

" Why couldn't I fall for either Caleb or Fazal", she cried.

She took out her stash of whiskey.

" Damn I thought I will quit", she said. She drank with tears in her eyes.

" Dad I wish you were alive. And than you would say congrats Shai what a spectacular mess you have created of your life . Lets solve it".

And she continued crying.
