Chapter 59: Chapter 57: Amusement park!

An unassuming white coloured car was making it's way through the road.

It was a six seater, budget family car one can find pretty much anywhere in the world.

The only problem was the driver.

Meachmaru.

The Mechanical Overlord.

The strongest villain of japan, was driving the family car, following traffic rules.

And that wasn't all.

On the passenger side were Toga and Eri, On middle seat sat Shigaraki, Magne, Twice and Mr Compass, lastly on the back seat sat Dabi and Spinner.

"Twice you're taking too much space!"

Shigaraki cursed loudly.

"But I'm literally sitting on Magne's lap!?"

Twice replied in a crying voice.

Shigaraki's ignored him and kept pushing Twice back with his hands, towards Magne.

There was actually enough room in the car for all of them.

But Shigaraki wanted more space.

Suddenly the car stopped in front of a signal.

Shigaraki exploded.

"Mechamaru! why did you stop? Go quickly! I'm dying back here!"

"It's a red light."

Mechamaru pointed at the signal.

Shigaraki gave him a blank look, then pulled down the window and looked outside.

It was indeed a red light.

Well nothing can be done about it then.

Shigaraki asked: "Are you seriously?"

Mechamaru pointed to Eri.

"Shigaraki It's a red light!"

Eri said while looking at Shigaraki from the front seat.

Shigaraki stared at her.

Then he opened the car's door, got out, walked upto the traffic light, turned it to dust, scared the passerbys, returned back, got inside, closed the door and said to Eri.

"I don't see any red light."

Eri pouted.

The car started again, making it's way forward.

It was a nice and cozy journey.

No one honked at them, no one tried to take overtake them, they didn't even face any traffic jams!

After all there was literally no one on the road!

It was all empty!

At first when they hijacked the car, there were still some vehicles on the road, who would ran away as soon as they saw Mechamaru's face.

But after some time the road literally became deserted.

It definitely had something to do with the various hidden heroes and Japanese defense team members he perceived using cursed energy from time to time.

Though it was within his expectations.

Well atleast there was no traffic.

Toga turned on the radio, and started changing the channel.

"Hey Dabi what are you looking at? Anything interesting outside?"

Spinner asked in a curious voice, looking at Dabi who suddenly started looking out of the window.

Dabi ignored him, his eyes focused deeply on the barely visible spot of flame quitely following them from the side.

The corners of his lips unknowingly lifted up forming a crazy smile.

----

"What's the status on Mechanical Overlord's location?"

"Sir they have just passed Hosu City Expressway."

"Have we predicted where they are heading?"

"All the support heroes have been informed, they are all trying theor best to deduct it as soon as possible."

The Senior Officer looked at the screen showing Endeavour and Hawks.

"Have all the heroes arrived?"

"Most are still on their way, it will take some time before they arrive."

"Inform all nearby personal to avoid confrontation, delay for as long as possible."

"Yes sir!"

Senior Officer stopped them conti red in a serious voice.

"How are the anti-flame equipment coming along?"

"It have been dispatched sir! They will arrive in less than half an hour!"

"Mechanical Overlord's primary ability is flame manipulation, with these newly built suits able to witstand flames of extremely high temperatures, the heroes will no longer be as helpless as they were before."

"Have you notified All Might?"

"Yes sir!"

"Make sure to monitor their every move, there is no room for mistakes!"

"Understood sir!"

----

In no time, Mechamaru and the League arrived before the location of their journey.

Amusment park.

Under the confused and horrified looks of those present, they calmly made their way through the ticket counter.

"Wait is that?...."

The first step was confusion.

"No way, it can't be a fake right?...."

The second step was realization.

"Who's crazy enough to do their cosplay?"

The third step...run!

Eri looked around hesitantly, she lowered her head seeing the people around them giving them bad looks and running away.

Mecahamru glanced at her but didn't say anything.

It will become better after the bystanders were gone.

"Which ride do you want to get on? Lumi?", Toga asked curiosly, holding Eri's hands.

Eri hesitated for a moment before glancing up at Toga and pointing at the giant moving wheel.

"That...." she said softly.

She was pointing at the Ferris wheel.

Toga's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Great choice, Lumi! Let's go!"

She pulled Eri along toward the massive Ferris wheel, with Mechamaru and the rest of the League following behind, their presence causing chaos as civilians cleared the way, screaming or hiding wherever they could.

As they approached the ride, the operator froze, his eyes wide with fear. Before he could react, Mechamaru stepped forward and said clearly.

"Run the ride. No delays."

The man nodded shakily, scrambling to start the Ferris wheel. The group piled into a single, oversized compartment. The ride creaked as it started moving, lifting them higher into the sky.

Eri sat at the window, her face lighting up with wonder as she saw the cityscape stretching out before her.

"It's so pretty…" she murmured.

"Yeah, yeah, it's great. Can we go higher faster?" Shigaraki grumbled, leaning back with his arms crossed.

"Relax, Shigaraki Enjoy the view,"

Dabi smirked at Shigaraki. His gaze drifted toward the horizon, where a faint glimmer of fire danced in the distance. His smirk widened.

Spinner, meanwhile, clutched the seat tightly. "I don't trust this thing. Feels like it's going to fall apart any second."

"You can hold my hand lizard boy!" Magne teased, her laughter echoing inside the compartment.

As the Ferris wheel descended, Eri turned to Mechamaru. "Can we go on another ride after this?"

"Of course," Mechamaru said, his mechanical voice reaching her ears.

"We'll try everything you want."

The group disembarked from the Ferris wheel, much to the relief of the operator. They headed toward the roller coaster next, Toga still holding Eri's hand. Shigaraki protested loudly, claiming he didn't like being strapped into "death traps," but Twice and Magne convinced him otherwise.

The roller coaster was fast, and for the first time, Eri laughed, an innocent, delighted sound that caught everyone off guard. Even Shigaraki stopped complaining, though he muttered under his breath about the wind messing up his hair.

Their next stop was the bumper cars. Predictably, chaos ensued as Shigaraki went after Twice with unrelenting fury, and Dabi purposefully collided with everyone else, laughing maniacally.

Mechamaru.....simply parked in a corner and watched.

As the day went on, the League tackled more rides, from spinning teacups to the haunted house. Toga and Eri screamed with terror in the haunted house, while Spinner and Twice bickered over whether the animatronics were "real monsters."

Eventually, the group found themselves at the concession stands, where Eri smillingly asked for cotton candy. Mechamaru bought one for her, and she beamed as she took a bite, her small face lighting up with happiness.

Her previous hesitant and timidly attitude changed a lot.

The sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink. The park was eerily empty, save for the League, who now stood in front of the carousel.

"One last ride."

Mechamaru said, his voice leaving no room for argument, his eyes looking discreetly at the various presence which surrounded the park.

The carousel's lights flickered to life as the group climbed aboard. Eri chose a white horse with golden reins, Toga next to her on a tiger. Shigaraki begrudgingly perched on a dragon, while Dabi leaned lazily against a black stallion.

As the carousel spun, Eri closed her eyes, feeling the gentle breeze against her face. For a brief moment, she forgot about the various things she suffered before.

When the ride slowed to a stop, Mechamaru stood and motioned for everyone to gather.

"Time to leave."

Mechamaru said, but instead of leaving through the exit, he looked down at his phone, he just sent live location with images to the other party.

And not long after, a black fog appeared beside them.

Kurogiri.

"Take Lumi and go."

Mechamaru said plainly, his eyes focused on the amusment park's entrance.

But after some time, Sensing the movement behind him, Mechamaru looked back.

There they stood, all the members of the league except Eri, fully armed.

Mechamaru stared at them.

"Do you really expect us to let you have all the fun? Mechamaru?", Dabi's excited voice rang out from the armour.

"You should trust us more you know?", Mr Compass said playing with several blue balls in his hands containing nomus.

"How can these fakes possibly beat us?", Spinner showed his teeth looking ferocious.

Toga raised her arms and extended the metallic claws, showing her eagerness.

Magne looked around, she didn't know any cool catchphrase, so she simply smiled and gave a thumbs up.

Mechamaru's eyes fell on Shigaraki.

As if sensing it, Shigaraki started walking forward and stopped right beside Mechamaru.

His beaming eyes eyes stared at him and his big creepy smile said everything he wanted to say.

Mechamaru turned his gaze away from them and started walking towards the park's entrance.

"Do as you please."

All of them smiled and followed behind Mechamaru and Shigaraki.

In no time they arrived at the entrance.

And what greeted them.

Was the combined strength of Japan.

"It seems the defeated are unable to accept the truth."

Mechamaru took a step forward, spreading his arms wide open.

"Then allow me to enlightened you once again."

A golden wheel appeared on his back.

"To the inevitable reality."
