In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 32: Gildarts' Social Death: That Despicable Kid Gaal...

Gaal took out his communicator and pressed the button, hearing Makarov's voice:

"Can you hear me? Gaal."

Gaal replied to the communicator, "I can hear you. What's going on, old man?"

On the other end, the guild was noisy, and it was unclear what was happening.

Makarov quickly said, "It's like this. Ivan went to seek the magical crystal made from the Thunder Dragon Heart to solve Laxus' physical issues. I just received news that Ivan has obtained that magical crystal. He is on his way back. I remember you engraved the amplification array on the elemental crystal to make a staff before. I was wondering if you could give it a try and engrave the amplification array on the magical crystal. Is there a chance it might succeed?"

Hearing this request, Gaal was a bit surprised. This idea was quite feasible. Engraving an amplification array on the magical crystal....

Gaal pondered for a moment and said, "Theoretically, yes. I will check it out when I get back. The amplification array can indeed be engraved on the magical crystal. As long as the transformation of that Thunder Dragon's heart is thorough, there shouldn't be any problems. When will Mr. Ivan likely arrive?"

Makarov sighed in relief, "Ivan will be back in Fiore by the end of next month. There is still a month and a half left; we should have enough time."

Gaal replied, "Alright. By the way, why is it so noisy over at the guild? What happened again?"

Makarov's voice sounded a bit headache-ridden, "Gildarts just returned. And it turns out Cana is Gildarts' daughter; it's truly....."

A smile appeared on Gaal's face as he responded, "I see. You all can continue there. I'll tidy up here and prepare to head back."

Makarov said, "Okay." Then he hung up the communicator.

Gaal put the communicator away into his pocket and then took out his backpack. He raised his hand and waved, causing all the wanted posters inside the backpack to float up.

Gaal looked over the wanted posters, selected a few quests he could pass by on his way back, and then stashed the rest away. Raising his staff, he activated the teleportation magic. A silver-white magic circle flickered, and Gaal's figure instantly vanished in the vastness of the Great Snow Mountain.

Magnolia Town.

Inside the Fairy Tail Guild.

Makarov put down the communicator, a smile spreading across his face. He then walked toward the guild hall.

At that moment, all the members were gathered around the hall's table, watching Gildarts and Cana with a sense of incredulity. Gildarts suddenly popping out with a daughter, and it's Cana....

However, some were reminded of when Cana came two years ago. Perhaps she was seeking Gildarts back then. But Gildarts hadn't returned in those two years.

At this time, Macao curiously asked, "By the way. How did you know Cana is your daughter, Gildarts? Even we didn't know."

Cana also paused, looking up at Gildarts, confusion flashing in her eyes. Indeed, she hadn't discussed this with anyone, not even her drinking companions.

How did Gildarts know?

Gildarts, taken aback, looked around at the puzzled expressions on everyone's faces and said, "You all didn't know?"

Everyone shook their heads in unison. Even Makarov, who leaned in, shook his head: "No, we just heard."

Gildarts frowned slightly. "Then how did Gaal know? It was that kid Gaal who told me."

"Could it be.... Did that little brat use some kind of evil magic on you?! How outrageous! Cana, let me check you! That brat...."

Gildarts had an angry expression. The fact that nobody knew and Gaal did was quite suspicious. Did he read Cana's memories?

Cana was a girl—what if Gaal had read her memories? How would she ever get married?

No, nobody was good enough for his daughter!

He had to check first!

With that thought, he reached out toward Cana's forehead.

But upon hearing Gildarts' words, Cana's veins popped, glaring at Gildarts' reaching hand, she swiftly knocked it away. "No way! Gaal is not that kind of person. But you! I could recite all those good deeds of yours by heart!"

Upon hearing Cana's words, Gildarts instantly went on the offensive: "What?! What do you mean Gaal is not that kind of person?! I'm telling you, Cana! Someone like Gaal, with those thick eyebrows and big eyes, is the most despicable! He used tricks when we fought! This guy's heart is dark; don't get fooled by him!"

Gaal's style was completely opposite to Gildarts'; if Cana didn't believe it, even the people around them looked at Gildarts with disdain.

How could he say something so blatant?

Gildarts' face turned red under everyone's gaze. "Hey! You all believe me, right?! That guy is truly despicable!"

Gildarts tried to argue, wanting to prove Gaal's despicable nature.

Cana frowned, unable to stop herself from facepalming, "You heartless fiend, how dare you talk about others!"

Gildarts' face turned slightly red, immediately responding earnestly, "That was in the past, it was all slander. I guarantee I won't be like that anymore."

Cana snorted lightly, turning her head away, "We'll see about that."

At this moment, Cana was still a little girl, not yet completely disappointed in Gildarts. Hearing him say this brought her some secret joy, though she maintained a proud appearance.

Gildarts quickly began smiling and swearing, already displaying a daughter-loving demeanor.

Seeing this kind of contrast made the others feel a bit unnerved, especially Gray. He couldn't help but remember how badly he had been tormented by Gildarts.

He was well aware of this guy's wickedness. Yet now, seeing him act like a daughter-crazed fool, Gray shook his head vigorously to shake off those feelings.

Then he raised his hand, hesitating before speaking, "Um.... Could you let me join the meeting first?"

Only then did everyone realize Gray, the unfamiliar face who had just mentioned Cana being Gildarts' daughter.

Makarov, a bit curious, looked down to find the guild seal, saying, "No problem. Are you Gildarts' new disciple?"

Gray's mouth twitched slightly, "No. I'm not related to that guy...."

Before he could finish, Gray felt a deathly glare.

He mentally consoled himself, hoping this guy would leave him alone after finally reuniting with his daughter, and quickly added, "….not at all. My master is Ur. I was training in the Northern region. Because of Deliora, there were some issues; it was Brother Gaal who saved us."

Makarov nodded, "I see. How coincidental."

As he spoke, Makarov found the seal, pulled it out, and asked Gray, "Where do you plan to stamp it?"

Gray was a bit dazed and hurriedly replied, "Here, please."

Though Brother Gaal had mentioned it was quite simple, this was a little too simple.

Swish!

His clothes somehow fell off without him noticing.

He pointed to his right chest.

Everyone's mouths twitched; Cana couldn't help but turn away.

Gildarts directly blew up, kicking Gray, "How outrageous! Little brat! Daring to harass Cana in front of me!"

Boom!

Gray was hit on the head and instinctively covered himself, stepping back a few paces. "Huh?! What are you talking about?! Ice-Make: Lance!!!"
