NOVEL NEXT Chapter 8: Tachi deer
"Question. Why are guys still out here when Xavier suggested to stay at the town?" Klyde asked the group.
"Well, I guess staying out here might give us a change to get ahead of others in levels." Said Zorian
"I just want to get stronger." Said Violet.
"Also, we still need money." Said Scarlet.
"I guess those are pretty good reason." Said Klyde.
"Why are you asking, Klyde?" Violet asked.
"If I told you I want to take over Erina, would you believe me?" Said Klyde.
The gasped after hearing his claim. All of them seemed equally shocked.
"You want to WHAT?!" Zorian exclaimed.
"You can't be serious." Said Violet.
"Do you have a death wish?!" Said Scarlet.
"I am. I'll need to get stronger though in order to claim Erina.
"Good luck with that then." Said Zorian.
"Rian, where are going?" Scarlet asked.
"Well, I heard rumors there was a Frost Wolf den at border between the pale forest." Said Zorian.
"A den. Isn't that dangerous? Dens usually have 15 wolfs. And 3 of them are White Frost Wolves you know." Said Violet.
"I'm sure we can handle it. Plus, Klyde over here will help us, right Klyde?
"Hm? Yeah. I'll assist." Said Klyde.
"And would you look at that." Zorian Said as he pointed to a deer like creature eating a bush. It's fur was green and it's antlers looked like they were mage of a crystal material.

"You know what that is, Klyde?"
"No, hehe…"
"It's a Tachi deer. Those things are beasts when it comes to magic so it's always best to attack them from a distance while their distracted. Violet."
"On it." Said Violet.
Violet stepped forward and aimed her wand at the Tachi deer. Her wand was made out of wood with a blueish hue. The end of the wand had a blue orb secured by metal.
"Element of water, hear my call. Pierce my enemies' hearts in a blink on an eye. Water bullet."
As she chanted the incantation, a small ball of water forced ahead of her want. It shrunk until it became the size of a marble. After she finished her incantation the orb fired at a tremendous speed, almost like a speeding bullet.
The waterball penetrated the monsters chest and immediately froze the area were it hit.
'Woah, she's good. Wait, I didn't even get to know what level it was.'

"That looks like it drained a lot of mana." Said Klyde.
"Yeah. It did. But as long as it isn't too low then I'll be fine." Said Violet.
'A spell that one shots things. Seems really powerful.'
"Anyone gonna get it's materials?" Asked Klyde.
"I'm on it." Zorian said as he took out a dagger.
He then walked to the dead body and started cutting up its chest.
"Well then, K-klyde. Since you've never seen a T-tachi deer before, y-y-you must be curious what it offers." Said Scarlet, stuttering while fidgeting.
"Yeah, please do tell." Said Klyde
"W-well, it's kind of obvious, b-but the first resources are t-the antlers. They're made out of T-tachi crystals. Tachi c-can be used for magic w-wands that greatly boost the magic p-power. Others use it for arrow heads. There's also a f-few crystals inside their chest t-too." Said Scarlet.
"I guess they get their name from those crystals, huh." Said Klyde. 'She sure does stutter a lot.'
"Y-yeah…"
"I'm done, guys." Zorian said as he stood up from the Tachi deer. It was cun in half and it's antlers had been removed and were lying on the floor besides three large bloody crystals that were the size of a forearm.
The two twins walked up to Zorian and Klyde followed soon after.
"Violet, could you put these in your bag?" Zorian asked.
Violet gave him a simple "on it" and unzipped her small, cyan sidebag which was strapped to her waist. She then proceedes to shove all the objects into the small bag and they somehow fit inside.
"How did those fit inside that bag?" Asked Klyde.
"Oh, you don't know? This is a Temporal Bag. It can hold a lot of things inside it. It's a cheep one so it can't carry that much items." Explained Violet.
"Yeah, but it still costed us a lot." Said Zorian.
"Oh, that's a… neat thing to have." Said Klyde.
"Can we continue? I want to find that den before it gets late." Said Zorian.
The three nodded and the group process the search for the wolves' den. Along the way they managed to encounter a couple of monsters, though Klyde unfortunately was only able to kill 2 tree sprawlers. The group finally made it to wolves den and what they were greated by was an unpleasant sight.
2 adventurer were dead on the floor, covered with blood and ice. Both of the had been impaled on by large ice shards, one of the stomach, the other on the head.
1 adventurer was still alive though, his arm had been ripped off and was on the floor covered in ice. He was being attacked by three wolves and was trying his best to block their attacks though some were going through.
His reaction time was a bit delayed due to the loss of blood. He may not be able to survive this.
The two girls screamed in horror after witness what was unfolding before them. Zorian also looked a bit horrified at the sight.
