In Another World as a…Bus Driver?

Third person POV

 And then, while Gregory was stating his meal order to a waitress, Azalea and the others saw that Russell was staring at an object they never seen before. "What are you staring at, Russell?" Azalea asked Russell with some confusion on her face. "That thing…" replied Russell back while being frozen in shock still, before pointing at it, "…is from my former world…"

Russell then snapped out and finished his meal with his friends so he could ask Gregory about that Geiger Counter he brought in this tavern.

 After some time, the May party finished their meal while Gregory was just starting his hot meal, which consisted of roasted chicken leg and slices of whole wheat bread. So, Russell stood up and went to Gregory's table asking, "Hey, excuse me, is that a Geiger Counter?" Hearing that, Gregory looked at him. "Yeah, it is. Why? How did you know that?"

 "Sir, I was from the real world," replied Russell back briefly and calmly, "I am a Renad, or Otherworlder."

His party saw that and were surprised to see him interacting with Gregory, a 25-year-old man with messy black hair and emerald green eyes (his former identity in his previous life included red ginger hair and blue eyes).

Gregory was shocked to hear what Russell had said and stood up and looked at him. "Really? You too as well?"

Russell then nodded. "Yes, my name is Russell May of Fort Right, the Southern Plains, and I was a Filipino in my previous life."

"Woah! Dude, you're from the Philippines in your previous life? I am an American back then, so we were friends."

(What Gregory meant is that their home countries of the US and the Philippines are friends in terms of diplomatic relations.)

 "Wow, we were, diplomatically!" Russell happily responded back.

 "Well!" Gregory laughed a bit. "To start, my name is Gregory Hanswell. I am from this town, and I am a physicist and a physics teacher of this town's academy."

The reincarnated American physicist then offered Russell a handshake.

Accepting it, Russell responded, "Nice to meet you, Gregory-san. I am a bus driver in this world."

Pulling back from the handshake, Gregory was stunned with shock. "What? You were?"

 "Yup!" Russell happily responded back, before pulling out his bus driver's license and Trait and showing it to Gregory. "Look at this one."

Gregory looked at it and was even more shocked to see his current rank and level.

Gregory was at Level 51 and at S-rank.

 "Wow, since when you had been reincarnated into this world?" Gregory was amazed.

Putting his 2-purpose card down, Russell confidently responded back, "For a year now."

 "What? I have been in this world for 2 years now, and you're already at that level and rank?"

Putting his card back into his suit pocket, Russell responded back. "Well, yeah, because of my heroism in this world, especially in my home country, the Southern Plains."

Now, remembering the Bus Driver Hero from a few people, Gregory replied, "Wait, heroism? You mean, you're the Bus Driver Hero? That person who used his bus to ram enemies and was unfazed by bad people?"

 "Yes, I am that person."

Gregory was dumbfounded, knowing that the person he was talking to now was the Bus Driver Hero. "No way! I am so lucky to see you as that person!"

 "Yup!"

Russell's friends stood up and said their introductions of themselves.

Gregory was friendly to them said his greeting and introduced himself to them.

 After some time, Russell finished his glass of light, wheat beer, and Gregory was stunned to see that the young bus driver could drink. "Um, how old are you now?" Russell then ordered another glass of beer and glanced at him. "I am currently 17 years old."

 "What? You're young. I am only 26 years old. But, do you drink alcohol, right?"

Receiving his second glass of beer and drinking it, Russell replied, "Yes, why?"

 "You know that drinking before driving is fatal, right?"

 "Yes, it was, but my body was resistant to alcohol poisoning."

 "What? Prove it."

 "Okay."

 And so, Gregory and Russell went to a drinking competition in the tavern, competing with each other to see who will drink the most amount of alcohol because Gregory also had alcohol immunity in his body. The May party was shocked and was concerned for Russell. The drinking competition begun with both of them ordering their first round of alcohol in the form of 2 glasses of light beer. After being given of their order, Russell and Gregory chugged these two glasses and were completely fine and were in a draw. Because of this, Gregory ordered another 2, this time, two small bottles of whiskey, while Russell ordered another 2 glasses of light beer, before both of them chugged them in seconds. Who will win?
