Imperial Spirits - Otherworldly Adventures

To start understanding the awakening process and how it's related to the people of this world, one has to understand what happened seven thousand years ago. It changed the structure of the world as a whole and the perspective of people and shook the foundations of every living person on the Amberstar planet to the core.

Seven thousand years ago, a tremendous change occurred on the Amberstar planet. One night, when for most people, everything was going smoothly. Yet, many of them were in anticipation of seeing a great wonder that would reportedly happen on that night.

It was reported that, on that day, a group of gigantic purple meteorites would pass through their planet, and the sky would turn into a purple sea, as per the reports. Thus, billions and billions of eyes were glued towards the sky to witness this one and only spectacular sight they might see in their whole life, for once.

That night didn't let everyone wait too long, and people did see that spectacular sight, more than that, it was an outstandingly brilliant view, with purple filling the sky and a unique brilliant glistening shrouded the whole world.

As the myriad eyes were stuck on this extraordinary moment, they saw an incredible thing, and it was something unbelievable for them.

What they saw was actually those groups of purple starry meteorites were busted, and it was as if the whole world was under a kind of spell.

No matter if it was a young man, a man, a child, an old man, a girl, or a lady, everyone was spellbound at this very moment and was unable to extricate themselves from it.

It was as if today, each and everything would be engulfed in a purple hue with glistening stardust.

People were indulged, and their minds were out of sorts. As the purple starburst fell on them.

Just when everyone finds this view romantic and overwhelmingly tranquil, and are lost in momentous feelings.

A new sudden change took place, and it is said that very few minutes later, strange changes began to happen, and many people found out that some of their loved ones had fainted, while some felt their senses were offbeat until most of those who awoke began to feel their heart races and thoughts get blurry.

These people don't even have the time to fathom what happened; rather, their bodies start to change and transform into strange monsters of various kinds.

Some were transformed into bloodied monsters, and purple titans, or some were transformed into monsters without skin with bulky physiques, yet most of them become walking corpses.

This unbelievable change happened across the world and just within a few hours, the world of living became a living hell.

Not only the humans were affected, but even the animals, plants, insects, and strangely natural water bodies, metals, and stones were affected too.

Many human settlements began to take shape and the process of destruction and construction whirled with time.

Slowly as time passed, the human race began to settle, they found that not only there were people who awakened and could contract the Imperial Spirits, even many of them awakened to be powerful Warriors and Martial artists.

These people although cannot contract with Imperial Spirits, their bodies are no weaker than an Imperial Spirit master, not only this, they can absorb the Spirit qi to strengthen their bodies as well.

Soon the world of humans had two main professions that held utmost respect and honor, one being an Imperial Spirit Master, while the other being a Mighty Spirit Warrior.

It was a havoc-writhing transformation of the world, and it drowned the hope and the bright future of every creature into an endless abyss.

Those humans who survived were desperate to live and die, and those animals and other lifeforms added the cherry on top, making the world even more chaotic and disbelieving.

Many animals and strange monsters awakened their brutal instincts, their strong bodies and racial talents let the human race despair.

Those surviving humans not only had to guard against these inhumane lifeforms, but even more so, they had to guard against the same race and each other.

Brotherhood, friendship, or be it Love, nothing felt in the same way for those people. So called relationships were in wane and so called the human hearts.

Betrayal, greed, lust, and desire to control others' lives become a norm to live with.

Those were the darkest days for the people of the Amberstar planet.

Yet in those darkest of nights, there was indeed a speck of light shone over the future of the dispirited and lost human race.

As the days passed by, humans began to find out that, out of those who survived till now, especially those who fainted on the Purple Star disaster day, they started to show some peculiarities.

These peculiarities led those humans to awaken something extraordinary within them, and it was something worth rejoicing, akin to a big breakthrough for the people to survive those dark days.

When the first ever human under desperate struggles awakened his ability as an Imperial Spirit Master and signed the contract with a ferocious lifeform, a new dawn began for mankind.

As the time flew and months passed, those who were awakened started to lead other humans to survive, indeed some were still interested in abusing their newfound powers, while many heroes arose from the desperate struggles.

Naturally, no matter what, being an Imperial Spirit Master is of utmost honor. After all, not only do they have powerful physiques like warriors or martial arts but they can even contract other life forms such as their Imperial Spirits.

Thus, from the dark era to the dawn era, and up until the modern era, Imperial Spirit Masters are honored to be the most respected.

This is the reason, everyone wants to be one of them. Even the worst Imperial Spirit Master has a higher rank than being a warrior let alone ordinary civilians.

In the modern era, the level of human society is divided into multiple levels, the lowest of them are war slaves who are convicted for all sorts of crimes, then slum peoples, ordinary civilians, and warriors, and Imperial Spirit Masters are on the top of the chain.

Naturally, over time many other professions came into existence and some of them had the same level as a high-ranking Imperial Spirit Master.

Just like Imperial Spirit Masters, there are Imperial Spirit Breeders, Alchemists, Spirit forgers, and lastly Imperial Founders.

Each of these professions is in its own league, and even many Imperial Spirit Masters have to respect them and show enough courtesy.

After all, Imperial Spirit Masters are also mortals and need assistance from them, especially the occupation of Imperial Founder something that even Imperial Spirit Master had to bow in respect.

As he finished his sentence, his last words were hammered into the hearts of these youths, no matter if they were here for their first awakening trial or those who were here for their last awakening trial, all felt a sense of relief, and their stiff bodies relaxed a bit.

As the middle-aged man continued to call the students names, those who were called hastily stood up from their chairs and rushed towards the main door.

As the roll call continued, it ended after the middle-aged man called the 50th student.

Han Yu and many other older youths had some doubts, as they had gone through trials previously, whenever the teacher called the names it would be of one similar class but this time, unexpectedly, the names were called collectively for all three classes.
