Chapter 202: Destruction of the Red Hollow Sect
The disciples of the Red Hollow Sect continued with their evil activities, unaware of the threat hanging over their heads.
Deep in the core area, the sect master sat inside the pool of blood, cultivating, trying to recover from his injury.
Suddenly, a terrifying sound echoed, and the cave shook to its core. Spider cracks appeared on the caves, debris falling from the ceiling.
Instantly, the Red Hollow Sect hideout was in chaos.
Fear, panic, and confusion marred the faces of the disciples as they rushed out of their caves.
Boom! Boom!
Before they could process what was going on, the sound echoed once again, and the caves began to shake as if they were going to collapse.
"We're under attack!" a thin middle-aged woman shouted.
"How is this possible?"
"Our hideout has not been discovered for many decades. How could it be now?"
Most of the elders were filled with confusion. Before the big move, they had been low-key, trying to stay off the radar of the righteous sects.
Yet…
Whoosh!
The sect master and his wife appeared, and both wore a deep frown on their faces.
"Sect Master…" an elder called.
"This is not the time to find out who is attacking us," the sect master said solemnly. "You know the plan. Let's move."
Ahhhh!
Just then, they heard various soul-rending screams of the disciples coming from the distance.
The enemies had entered and begun the massacre.
The sect master, his wife, and the elders wore a grave expression.
"Take your disciples and let's meet at that location."
With that, the sect master and his wife departed, taking their disciples with them.
The elders did not hesitate and followed their sect master, escaping with their disciples.
As for the elders and disciples in the inner court and outer court area, they did not care.
They were an evil sect for a reason. They were selfish and would not hesitate to sacrifice their disciples just to escape.
Ahhh!
"P-Please…"
"S-a-v-e…."
Cries for help echoed in the air. Thick stench of blood permeated the air with various cracks appearing on the walls.
In the inner court area, a group of inner disciples were trying to fight against the Wind Spirit Sect Master.
Whoosh!
With a swing, his sword severed their heads, and their bodies split apart.
Watching their elders killed as if they were nothing…
The few remaining disciples were trembling.
There was no escape.
The Wind Spirit Sect Master looked at them without any change in his expression and raised his hand.
Bang!
All the disciples exploded to pieces, their flesh and organs splattered on the walls.
Killing all the disciples and elders in the inner court, the Wind Spirit Sect Master did not leave immediately.
He began to enter the caves.
In each, there were many humans locked in cages, while some were cooked alive inside cauldrons.
Additionally, their pool of blood was used for cultivation.
Just watching all this made his blood surge with anger and hatred. How many humans did they kill for each pool to have such a large quantity of blood?
And most of the blood still had vital essence.
Shaking, he destroyed the pool and freed the prisoners. Most were young boys and girls below the age of fifteen.
Some had already lost any hope of leaving the Red Hollow Sect alive. When they were freed, many still had that soulless expression.
"If you want to live, take that path and leave," he said calmly. "Some people will be waiting for you to help you and treat your injuries."
Without waiting for their reaction, he departed toward the core area.
Although it seemed like he had spent a lot of time, he spent less than five minutes.
Arriving at the core area, everywhere was empty, but the Wind Spirit Sect Master did not seem to mind.
Like he did in the outer area and inner area, he began to examine each cave. Compared to the outer area, the core area was on another level.
Also, the number of innocent people chained in their cages was ten times higher than those of the other areas.
"Those bastards!" he gritted and destroyed the caves.
As for those in the cauldrons, it would be like tormenting them. Thus, he gave them a quick death to free them from their suffering.
While the Wind Spirit Sect Master was handling things inside the Red Hollow Sect hideout, a horrifying battle was happening outside.
The Nine Mountain Sect Master and the Frost Moon Sect Master were fighting the Red Hollow Sect master and his companion.
While the Governor was dealing with Half-Step Golden Core experts and Core Refining warriors.
The Governor alone could not handle all of them at once since they had all scattered in various directions inside the Blackscale Forest.
Supreme Elder Zhao supported him from the side. Each picked a direction.
Although the Blackscale Forest was home to many dangerous beasts, the Golden Experts did not care.
This was a golden chance to uproot the infamous Red Hollow Sect, and nothing would stand in their way.
Deep in the forest, a blinding light appeared in the sky, cutting everything in its path.
Ahhh!
An elder of the Red Hollow Sect, with three of his disciples, was cut into pieces.
Supreme Elder Zhao did not bat an eye at them and picked another direction and rose to the sky to give chase.
Under a tall tree, a thin woman with a burn scar on her face stood. Her face was filled with panic, fear gnawing at her from within.
They did not expect the righteous sects would deploy five Golden Core experts at once just to destroy their sect.
That was insane.
They only had two Stage 2 Golden Core Experts. Why would they deploy such a terrifying lineup just to kill them?
Time seemed to stretch for infinity, making her heart pound heavily against her chest. She was only a step away from breaking through to the Golden Core Realm.
As long as she managed to break through to the Golden Core Realm, she planned to leave the Red Hollow Sect and move to the central region.
Unfortunately…
She turned her head and looked at her only disciple sharply.
"Bi'er, master will divert their attention while you escape."
Bi looked at her master with an innocent expression. She was seductive and heavenly endowed both in the front and back.
Merely looking at her big ass and cherry bosom would make many men fall for her. She was the epitome of many men's wild fantasies.
However, that was a façade. Everyone in the Red Hollow Sect knew how ruthless and cunning she was.
"Master, I don't want to bring any harm to you," she shook her head, feigning righteous concern, as her master's safety meant a lot to her.
"I will stay to divert their attention while master escapes. I'm only a Foundation realm warrior, after all. What could they do to me..."
Her master squinted and did not respond immediately. Suddenly, her gaze turned sinister.
"That's my very obedient disciple. Then, you can stay here forever." She raised her hand, ready to capture her.
As long as she survived, she could find much better disciples.
However, things did not go as she planned.
Just as she tried to use her spiritual energy, she found herself getting weakened and dizzy.
Her spiritual energy was escaping from her body at a visible speed. A few seconds later, she slumped to the ground, helpless.
She raised her head and looked at her disciple. How could she not know what was going on?
She had been poisoned. Outplayed by her disciple.
Bi walked over and sneered.
"Master, thank you for your sacrifice. This disciple will carry on your legacy." She smirked, her tongue pried proudly.
Since they left their hideout, she had been plotting against her master. She was not naive to think her master brought her along just because she loved her.
It was a strategic move. A pawn she could use if things went south.
While her master was planning, she was also planning.
She picked up her master's spatial pouch, and without looking back, she prepared to disappear into the forest.
However, she only took a few steps before she fell to the ground. Her smooth skin turned purple at a visible speed.
Ahh!
She cried in pain with fear on her face. How could this be? she shouted in her mind.
Looking at her, her master had an evil grin on her face. Did she expect she hadn't made such a plan ahead?
'Naive,' she thought.
Just then, Supreme Elder Zhao descended from the sky. Looking at the master and disciple, he shook his head.
Without any external influence, they had already incapacitated themselves.
Since the work had been done for him, he did not bother to unsheathe his sword.
Bang! Bang!
He smashed them into a puddle of blood, destroyed their spatial pouches, and departed.
He flew toward the location of the Red Hollow Sect to assist with the battle if it had not been completed already.
However, when he arrived…
Everything was over.
