Chapter 842: Departure, Different Worlds!

"Legend has it that within the Blood Ghost Sect lies a forbidden land, concealing the ultimate secret of the Blood Ghost Sect," Mo Han's uncle said, his voice filled with shock and fear, "It's said that only the Sect Master and Elders of the Blood Ghost Sect are qualified to enter the forbidden land, and anyone else who enters will undoubtedly die."

"Then how did we come to be here?" Mo Han asked, his heart full of doubt. How could they have come to the forbidden land of the Blood Ghost Sect?

"I don't know either." Mo Han's uncle shook his head, a bitter smile appearing on his face, "But since we are here, there must be a reason. Perhaps this is the arrangement of fate."

"Then what should we do now?" Mo Han asked, looking at his uncle, his eyes filled with confusion.

"Since we're here, let's make ourselves comfortable. Let's first see what clues we can find," Mo Han's uncle said, taking a deep breath to calm himself, "We can't just sit here and wait to die, we must find a way to escape."

The two began exploring the cave, their footsteps echoing clearly in the hollow cavern.

They discovered a massive Stone Gate deep within the cave, engraved with a complex pattern resembling an ancient seal, emanating a powerful force.

"Behind this door should lie the ultimate secret of the Blood Ghost Sect," Mo Han's uncle said, his eyes flickering with complex emotions of curiosity and fear.

"Should we open it?" Mo Han asked, staring at the Stone Gate, his heart full of curiosity.

"Open it? Do you know how to open it?" Mo Han's uncle countered, looking at Mo Han with helplessness in his eyes.

"I don't know." Mo Han shook his head, realizing he truly didn't know how to open the Stone Gate.

"Then don't think about it," Mo Han's uncle said, "We'd better figure out how to get out of here first; it's too dangerous, and we can't stay long."

"But if we don't open this door, how will we know the secret of the Blood Ghost Sect?" Mo Han said, unwilling to leave just like that.

"Secret? What do you think the secret of the Blood Ghost Sect might be?" Mo Han's uncle asked, looking at Mo Han with meaningful eyes.

"I... I don't know," Mo Han said, "But I think the Blood Ghost Sect's secret must be related to that Crystal Ball. That Crystal Ball is definitely not an ordinary item."

"Crystal Ball?" Mo Han's uncle was taken aback, recalling the Crystal Ball discovered on the altar, "You mean the Crystal Ball found on the altar?"

"Yes," Mo Han nodded, "I think that Crystal Ball must hide some secret—a secret about the Blood Ghost Sect."

"But we've already studied that Crystal Ball and didn't find anything special," Mo Han's uncle said, recalling the scene of researching the Crystal Ball and truly finding nothing unusual.

"That's because we haven't found the right method yet," Mo Han said, his eyes glowing with determination, "I think that Crystal Ball must be related to this Stone Gate. It could be the key to opening it."

"You mean the Crystal Ball is the key to this Stone Gate?" Mo Han's uncle asked, looking at Mo Han with surprise.

"It's possible," Mo Han said, "We can try; maybe we'll make an unexpected discovery."

"How do we try?" Mo Han's uncle asked, filled with doubt.

"Place the Crystal Ball into the groove on the Stone Gate," Mo Han said, pointing to a groove on the Stone Gate, "Look, the shape of that groove is very similar to the shape of the Crystal Ball, almost identical."

Mo Han's uncle looked at the groove on the Stone Gate and Mo Han's Crystal Ball, nodding, "Hmm, indeed it's very similar, we can try it, perhaps it really is the key to opening the Stone Gate."

Mo Han placed the Crystal Ball into the groove on the Stone Gate, and the Crystal Ball fit perfectly, seamlessly, as if they were originally one.

Immediately, a dazzling light burst out from the Crystal Ball, illuminating the entire cave like the sun, banishing the darkness without a trace.

The pattern on the Stone Gate also began to flicker, emitting a buzzing sound as if something were about to burst from within, growing louder and louder, shaking the entire cave.

"What... what's happening?" Mo Han's uncle asked in horror, never having seen such a bizarre scene, his heart filled with fear.

"I... I don't know either." Mo Han was also flustered, looking at the flickering Stone Gate, his heart filled with unease, "We... it seems we've made a mistake, we shouldn't have placed the Crystal Ball inside."

"Quickly, take the Crystal Ball out!" Mo Han's uncle shouted, his voice filled with urgency and fear.

Mo Han reached to remove the Crystal Ball, only to find it stuck firmly in the groove, unable to be extracted no matter how hard he tried, as if it had become one with the Stone Gate.

"I can't get it out!" Mo Han said anxiously, sweat beading on his forehead, his heart full of despair.

"This is bad!" Mo Han's uncle's face turned pale, his body started trembling, "We... we might die here, we shouldn't have come."

"No, we won't die!" Mo Han said, his eyes shining with determination, "There must be a way, there must be a way... we will definitely get out of here!"
