I’m the Villainous Master and My Disciples Are Unrivaled in the World.

Chapter 12

Upon seeing the change in Xiao Qi’s spiritual roots, most of the peak masters and elders showed signs of regret on their faces. With fire spiritual roots, they had no chance to compete with Ning Shenming for Xiao Qi. However, the light above Xiao Qi’s head changed again, showing a vibrant green.

Fire and wood dual spiritual roots! Although somewhat surprised, Ning Shenming was still delighted. Though not as exceptional as a single fire root, it was still a remarkable combination.

But then, the situation took another turn as a layer of heavy earth color appeared above Xiao Qi’s head. Fire, wood, and earth triple spiritual roots.

“What a pity,” Ning Shenming sighed, shaking his head. Xiao Qi, sensing the shift in the atmosphere, felt his confidence waver.

Yet, the changes continued as an intense golden light spread, signifying four spiritual roots. At this point, the initial enthusiasm of the peak masters and elders turned into dismay.

Xuan Yu, behind Shen Shi, empathized with Xiao Qi’s unfortunate luck, as she shared a similar fate. Dongyue Li offered her hand in support, her eyes full of encouragement.

Gao Baihe scoffed at the thought of taking such a talentless individual as a disciple. His disdain was echoed by the other cultivators.

Ning Shenming agreed, ready to make a decision, when a figure with a disheveled appearance entered the scene. Shen Shi, dressed in a white Golden Core robe but looking quite laid-back, approached Xiao Qi.

“What’s your name, kid?” Shen Shi asked, ruffling Xiao Qi’s hair.

Xiao Qi looked up, his face streaked with tears, and replied, “Xiao Qi.”

Shen Shi consoled him, reminding Xiao Qi that tears have no place on a man’s face. “Do you want to be my disciple?” he asked with a smile.

Xiao Qi, his emotions overflowing, eagerly accepted.

“Good. Believe that one day, the world will bow at your feet,” Shen Shi assured him.

After accepting Xiao Qi as his disciple, Shen Shi, followed by Xiao Qi, returned to his seat, planning a grand training scheme for his new disciple.

Xuan Yu comforted Xiao Qi, assuring him of Shen Shi’s dedication to his cultivation. Dongyue Li introduced herself as his senior sister, along with Han Xian’er and Cang Yuling.

As the Xianmiao Conference concluded, Shen Shi returned to the mountains without notifying anyone, while Dongyue Li took Xiao Qi to receive the new disciple’s necessities.

“An SSR character is now in my hands. Time for the grand training plan,” Shen Shi thought to himself, lying on his bamboo sword, envisioning a future where he could comfortably rely on others.
