Chapter 37
Chapter 37
“……”
Mitchell didn’t answer. After waiting for a while, Geon-woo came up with a plausible reason in his head.
“To decisively push Jeff away?”
“……”
Mitchell was quiet again. Frustrated, Geon-woo shook Mitchell’s arm, demanding an answer.
“Why won’t you tell me? I’m asking why you said that? What if some strange rumor starts because of this?”
Finally, Mitchell glanced over slightly. He briefly took in Geon-woo’s face before looking forward again. A short clicking of his tongue could be heard.
“Jeff isn’t the type to spread such words.”
“You trust Jeff? Well, that’s good then.”
Mitchell didn’t actually answer the real question. Guessing he wouldn’t get a proper answer from Mitchell, Geon-woo asked a different question.
“Then, should I pretend to be your lover in front of Jeff?”
“Of course.”
Why is this answer so quick? Geon-woo grumbled internally, venting his frustration by tugging at his seatbelt.
“What does Jeff say?”
“He seemed to accept it for now. We’ll meet once because he needs to return my card. He’ll probably say something then.”
“Card?”
“Jeff has my credit card. I was going to ask him to mail it, but I changed my mind.”
“Jeff used your card?”
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
“I gave it to him.”
“You act all smart, but you’re a total sucker, aren’t you?”
“Do I do sucker things for you too?”
“I have lots of money!”
“Jeff has lots of money too.”
Mitchell lowered his hand that had been around Geon-woo’s neck. As they entered the main set of the movie, familiar faces started to appear. Geon-woo casually dropped a comment.
“Take me with you when you meet Jeff.”
“Why? Want to grab his hair?”
“It’s in case Jeff tries to do something stupid to you! In case you get convinced, you sucker.”
Mitchell laughed, shaking his body at those words.
“Okay. Come along. I’m curious to see what face Jeff will make. He can be a bit fierce.”
“I’m fiercer! Tell anyone who’s been called crazier than me to come out and face me!”
Mitchell nodded without realizing it.
“But when are you meeting Jeff? I have to go to the gym tomorrow morning.”
“Action school?”
“Yeah.”
Mitchell, having parked the car, let out a long sigh. Then, leaning on the steering wheel in a crooked posture, he looked at Geon-woo.
“Did I do something unnecessary?”
“What?”
“…Never mind.”
Mitchell briefly regretted including Geon-woo in the movie. It would have been fine to just have him drive the car, or not even that, just keeping him around. He’d done something unnecessary that would make Geon-woo wander outside.
He’d end up sending Geon-woo, who would have been happy to stick by his side like a shadow, to some strange place for two to three hours.
“Come straight to the filming location after you’re done at the gym tomorrow.”
“I was planning to do that anyway. Where would I go without you?”
He said such an ambiguous thing so peacefully. Mitchell, his eyebrows twitching, once again grabbed Geon-woo’s nape and pulled him closer.
“Hey, tell me you love me.”
“Huh?”
Geon-woo’s heart started pounding at Mitchell’s words. Geon-woo had never loved anyone in his life. He had never told anyone he loved them. He didn’t really understand such emotions.
Living his whole life single, even with the girlfriend he briefly dated during his entertainment career, he only said he liked her instead of loved her.
He didn’t particularly distinguish between the blurry boundaries of love and like, and since he never had anyone to feel such emotions for, he naturally became reserved with those words.
So Geon-woo couldn’t help but laugh awkwardly at Mitchell’s sudden request. Feeling their faces were too close, he looked around. Even knowing they weren’t easily visible inside the car, he still checked for people’s gazes.
“Say it.”
“Um… but why?”
“We’ll have to act like lovers when we meet Jeff later. I’m going to introduce you as my lover.”
“Ah, right.”
Convinced in one go, Geon-woo nodded.
“Try it. We should practice here so it doesn’t sound awkward.”
“Um… um… I love you.”
“That’s too dry.”
“Is it?”
“Can’t you do it like you’re acting?”
“I’ve never been in a romance film. Hold on.”
Clearing his throat with a “Hmm hmm,” Geon-woo changed his expression. He looked at Mitchell with passionate eyes and reached out to cup Mitchell’s cheek. As he gazed at him, Geon-woo felt a strange tickle in his chest.
Was it because Mitchell was so handsome? Well, everyone who saw Mitchell in person would be mesmerized, so it must be the same for him. There was no need to think about it more complexly. For the sake of having Mitchell, what wouldn’t he do, even a love confession in front of Jeff? Geon-woo parted his increasingly dry lips.
“…I love you.”
“Again.”
“I love you, Mitchell.”
“One more time.”
“I love you madly.”
“More.”
“Mitchell, give yourself to me.”
“……”
“Then, I’ll love you. I’ll stay by your side forever. I’ll only look at you until I die.”
“……”
In the car, which had fallen into silence, Geon-woo and Mitchell froze as if in a photograph. They stared at each other without moving a finger.
When Mitchell slightly furrowed his brow, Geon-woo finally moved. Scratching his head, he let out an awkward “Hehe.”
“Was that too much?”
He had done it because Mitchell asked him to act, but he got immersed in it. Mitchell’s expression, which seemed to truly crave his love, made him act a bit excessively. Just as Mitchell’s intense stare was becoming awkward, Mitchell lunged at Geon-woo.
“This is when we kiss, right?”
Geon-woo couldn’t answer. Mitchell had blocked his mouth. Surprised by the lips that crashed into his like a headbutt, his mouth opened, and Mitchell’s tongue entered through the gap.
“Mmm! Mmm! Hey, this…”
“Practice.”
He couldn’t ask what they were practicing. As if the world would split in two if he gave a chance to speak, Mitchell sucked and licked Geon-woo’s tongue incessantly. It was Geon-woo’s personal stimulation button.
Geon-woo shuddered and was swept away by Mitchell’s tongue dominating his mouth. He did as Mitchell wanted, sticking out his tongue, then hiding it, then coming out to meet and envelop Mitchell’s when it sought him.
He forgot how to breathe. It was so intense that saliva dripped from the corners of his mouth.
Practice, he had clearly said practice. If it was kiss practice, it might be worth trying.
Geon-woo had been told by his ex-girlfriend that he couldn’t kiss. He was so hurt by that that he never touched her again after that, and the memory was still vivid.
Not wanting to be treated as an idiot who couldn’t even kiss by Mitchell like back then, Geon-woo kissed with determination. And after that, he started to enjoy it a bit.
His resistance gradually disappeared at Mitchell’s touch caressing his nape, and his heart slowly melted at the tongue swimming in his mouth.
Being kissed by Mitchell, it didn’t seem like he deserved to be badmouthed by his ex-girlfriend?
Mitchell, who had always known how to captivate people, was not only good with words but also good at kissing. He had a talent for everything he did with his tongue. Sly bastard.
“Haa, ha. Mitchell.”
A little later, saying he needed to breathe, Geon-woo gently pushed Mitchell’s chest. Though it was just a brief touch, he could feel Mitchell’s heart pounding. Geon-woo looked into Mitchell’s face, which seemed emotionless despite his racing heart. Mitchell was really good at managing his expressions.
“Are you drooling?”
Mitchell took out a tissue from the glove box. As he held it to Geon-woo’s chin, Geon-woo took it and wiped away the traces from earlier. His face felt a bit hot, but he didn’t show it like Mitchell.
“Kiss me when we meet Jeff. He might not believe we’re lovers.”
“This intensely?”
“Was it intense?”
“Wasn’t it?”
“My hands were still, you know.”
Mitchell smiled on his composed face.
“Usually when kissing, you should touch here with your hands.”
Before Geon-woo could stop him, a hand flew and grabbed the front of Geon-woo’s pants. As he kneaded the slightly protruding part in one hand, Geon-woo’s whole body jerked.
“That makes it feel twice as good.”
Mitchell immediately withdrew his hand and looked somewhere straight ahead. He tidied his clothes and then picked up his phone as if he was no longer interested in Geon-woo. Only Geon-woo was left fuming alone.
“Let’s go.”
After letting some time pass, the two got out of the car. Thanks to their early start, they arrived earlier than scheduled. Ignoring Geon-woo, who had turned red and blue, Mitchell greeted the director and staff who had already arrived and were preparing.
