I’M A MIST SHINOBI IN NARUTO

Chapter 6: CHAPTER 6

The battlefield was eerily silent. The formidable Watermelon Mountain Puffer Fish and the wielder of the Black Hoe, Raiga Kurosuki, both stared at Yuto with a ghostly expression of disbelief.

A simple C-rank Water Style jutsu had cut through the infamous Kubikiribōchō—the Executioner's Blade—and severed an arm from Zabuza Momochi, one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. Such an event seemed more like a surreal dream than reality.

Even A-rank ninjutsu would struggle to destroy the legendary blade. The Kubikiribōchō, known for its self-repairing ability by absorbing the iron from blood, was a weapon with a reputation as unbreakable. Yet, here it was, fractured and soaked in crimson.

In the later years, Zabuza's blade had withstood immense punishment, even during his defection and subsequent alliance with Akatsuki, where he and Itachi Uchiha infiltrated Kirigakure. The blade had survived battles against Yagura Karatachi, the Fourth Mizukage and Jinchūriki of the Three-Tails, even resisting a Tailed Beast Bomb. But…

Could a water blade, conjured from C-rank ninjutsu, truly rival the destructive force of a Tailed Beast Bomb?

Terumi Mei stood nearby, her fists clenched tightly as emotions surged within her. Her fair cheeks flushed red, but it wasn't anger—it was exhilaration.

"My brother is truly amazing! Are you fools scared now?" she cheered, her voice overflowing with pride. The usually composed and confident Mizukage appeared as giddy as a child. This was an unexpected triumph.

She had been worried for Yuto . The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist were legendary for their brutality, their reputations spreading far beyond Kirigakure's borders. Facing one of them head-on and surviving was already remarkable, but Yuto had gone beyond survival—he had won.

Blood sprayed across the battlefield as the shattered Kubikiribōchō glimmered with crimson. Zabuza Momochi gritted his teeth, his steely gaze fixed on Yuto , undeterred despite his severed arm.

"Do you wish to continue?" Yuto asked calmly, his tone devoid of arrogance. "You're crippled now. I don't want people thinking I bully the disabled."

"Don't get cocky, you brat!" Zabuza roared, his voice like a thunderclap tearing through the stillness.

"You just caught me off guard! Next time, I'll make sure there's nothing left of you!" His forehead throbbed with rage, his pride as one of Kirigakure's most fearsome swordsmen thoroughly wounded.

A dignified member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, reduced to losing an arm and his weapon? The thought alone was intolerable.

Zabuza reached for the Kubikiribōchō with his remaining hand. Soaked in blood, the blade began to pulsate like a living creature. Slowly, the shattered edge started to mend itself, the metal regrowing as it absorbed the iron from the blood.

The Executioner's Blade, after all, was renowned as a sword that would never truly break.

"Huff… huff…" Zabuza took deep, measured breaths, his bloodlust radiating with each exhale. His sharpened gaze pierced through Yuto like a blade, and his aura surged with murderous intent.

Even Terumi Mei faltered for a moment, beads of sweat forming on her brow. The oppressive air made it difficult to breathe. This was the accumulated malice and killing intent of a man who had slaughtered countless enemies—a bloodlust so potent that weaker shinobi would have collapsed on the spot.

And yet, Yuto remained unaffected. His expression was calm, his demeanor steady. Not a single flicker of fear crossed his face.

"This time, Shizang's getting serious," muttered the Watermelon Mountain Puffer Fish, his sharp teeth bared in a confident grin.

"About time," Raiga Kurosuki added with a smirk, resting the hilt of his blade against his shoulder. "He got caught off guard earlier. That was nothing more than underestimating the enemy."

The two members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist maintained unwavering faith in Zabuza Momochi. In their eyes, the humiliation he suffered earlier was a fluke—a result of his carelessness, not any real skill from Yuto .

Swish!

The sharp sound of air breaking was followed by the instant disappearance of Zabuza's towering figure.

"So fast!" Terumi Mei exclaimed, her eyes widening as she struggled to follow his movements.

In a heartbeat, Zabuza reappeared in front of Yuto , his massive Kubikiribōchō already descending in a deadly arc.

Boom!

The ground shattered violently, deep cracks extending more than ten meters in every direction from the impact.

But Zabuza's blade found nothing. Yuto had already evaded.

"You scared now, kid?!" Zabuza sneered, his cruel eyes locking onto Yuto . "Don't worry. I won't kill you right away. I'll make you regret what you did to me."

His gaze briefly shifted to his severed left arm, the pain and humiliation fueling his rage. "The suffering you've caused me—I'll return it to you tenfold!"

Yuto , however, looked unbothered. Calmly, he pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and took a slow drag, exhaling a perfect ring of smoke.

"The sea is dangerous," he said casually, as if ignoring the murderous intent radiating from Zabuza. "Humans should learn to respect it."

Zabuza froze for a second, utterly baffled. Was this guy mocking him?

Swish!

Another sharp sound, and Zabuza vanished again, his speed even greater than before. This time, even Terumi Mei could barely follow the faint blur of his movement.

"Brother, behind you!" Terumi Mei cried out urgently.

Zabuza appeared like a ghost behind Yuto , his Kubikiribōchō swinging down with deadly precision.

In desperation, Terumi Mei unleashed her Boil Style: Skilled Mist Technique, a dense, acidic fog spreading rapidly toward the battlefield. Its corrosive power was infamous, capable of even melting through Susanoo.

But her heart sank as she realized it wouldn't be fast enough.

The beheading sword struck true.

Puff!

Zabuza's blade sliced cleanly through Yuto 's head, then continued downward, cleaving his entire body in half.

Boom!

Yuto 's "corpse" erupted into a massive surge of water, drenching the battlefield in an instant.

"What?!" Zabuza exclaimed, his eyes wide with disbelief. "A water clone?! Again?!"

Everyone, including the watching swordsmen, was stunned. A single water clone could be excused as a trick, but twice? And more importantly—

The water erupting from the clone wasn't normal. It gushed out in massive waves, rising over ten meters high.

Zabuza stared at the deluge in horror. "What… What kind of water clone is this?! There's more water here than the Water Style: Great Waterfall Technique produces!"

Amidst the chaos, a voice called out mockingly.

"Idiot."

Zabuza turned sharply, his eyes narrowing. Yuto stood beside Terumi Mei, entirely unharmed, a calm smirk playing across his lips.

"This isn't just a water clone," Yuto said, his tone casual. "This is a sea clone."
