Chapter 4: CHAPTER 4
I said, don't look down on people too much!" Zabuza roared, his fists clenched in fury. "Besides, this fight isn't over yet!"
"Sure," Yuto muttered, dusting himself off as he landed on the ground, looking utterly bored. "You've already ruined my night, so I guess I might as well entertain you. I'll give you one last chance."
"You bastard!" Zabuza's face twisted in anger. Yuto's condescending tone pierced his pride like a kunai.
"Fine. I'll show you my newest technique—an A-rank jutsu!" Zabuza declared, his hands flying through seals with precision.
"Water Style: Great Waterfall Technique!"
Zabuza took a deep breath and unleashed a massive torrent of water. The technique formed a surging, waterfall-like wave that swept forward, its power threatening to wash away everything in its path.
"That's it?" Yuto raised an eyebrow, his Sharingan gleaming. He mirrored Zabuza's hand seals, but his smirk hinted at something far more devastating.
"Sea Release: Grand Ocean Technique!"
Yuto exhaled, unleashing a monstrous surge of water. In contrast to Zabuza's waterfall, Yuto's jutsu summoned a titanic wave, a veritable tsunami towering over twenty meters high. The wave advanced with overwhelming force, dwarfing Zabuza's technique entirely.
"What the—?!" Zabuza's eyes widened in disbelief as the sheer magnitude of Yuto's water obliterated his own.
The collision was brief—Yuto's tidal wave engulfed Zabuza's Great Waterfall Technique with ease. The ferocity of the water overwhelmed Zabuza, sweeping him away like debris caught in a storm.
"Ughhh!" Zabuza's scream echoed as he was dragged under. The nearby waters turned red, and his body thrashed violently.
Underwater, Zabuza's eyes darted around in panic. Dark shapes swarmed toward him, their teeth gleaming in the murky depths.
"Sharks?!" Zabuza gasped as the creatures surrounded him, their razor-sharp fangs tearing into his flesh. His muffled screams were lost beneath the waves.
Above the surface, the unleashed water surged beyond the battlefield, sweeping through the village of Kirigakure itself. Entire buildings were submerged as the massive wave cascaded through the streets.
Yuto watched the chaos unfold, rubbing the back of his head with an air of nonchalance. "Looks like I overdid it a bit."
He sighed. "Passive defense… right?"
Meanwhile, in the Mizukage's office, the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura, stared out at the flooded village, his expression dark. "Passive defense? This idiot just drowned half the village and called it self-defense!"
By morning, Kirigakure was still half-submerged, the misty streets now a network of canals. Many villagers were in boats, trying to salvage what they could.
As Yuto stepped outside, he stretched and looked around. The destruction was evident, but the villagers were murmuring about a "natural disaster," unable to fathom a jutsu of this magnitude.
"Cousin! You're safe!"
A familiar voice rang out. Yuto turned to see Terumi Mei, standing on a small boat that gently bobbed in the water. Her expression was a mix of worry and relief.
Yuto couldn't help but smirk at the sight. "You came by boat?" he teased.
Terumi Mei crossed her arms, glaring playfully at him. "You're lucky you're alive. I was worried something had happened to you!"
Yuto shrugged, the corner of his mouth twitching into a grin. "I might've gone a little overboard."
Terumi Mei sighed, shaking her head. "A little?! The whole village is underwater!"
Yuto laughed. "Well, at least it's clean now."
Yuto rubbed the back of his head, muttering to himself. In truth, he had suppressed the full power of his Sea Release, but the devastation it caused was already massive.
As he stood amidst the flooded streets of Kirigakure, Terumi Mei finally arrived, her heels splashing lightly in the ankle-deep water. Her sharp green eyes scanned him up and down, and she let out a sigh of relief when she saw he was unharmed.
"As long as you're okay," Mei said, placing a hand on her chest in relief. "The village suffered a lot last night! People are still trying to recover!"
"Hehe…" Yuto chuckled nervously, scratching his cheek. He kept quiet. If anyone figured out that he was the culprit behind the so-called "natural disaster," they might just string him up on the village square.
As for Zabuza… Yuto shrugged. That rookie was probably out cold or worse. Zabuza didn't even have his iconic Executioner's Blade yet. The current owner of the sword was none other than Jūzō Biwa, a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.
"Things are getting crazier lately," Mei continued, her tone more serious. "The war outside is intensifying, and now there's unrest within the village. Good brother, why don't you stay at my place for a couple of days? It's safer."
"Absolutely not." Yuto shook his head firmly, his expression unyielding.
"Why?!" Mei pouted, her frustration evident.
"With your obsessive tendencies, I'd be in even more danger staying with you," Yuto replied matter-of-factly.
"You ungrateful brat!" Mei huffed, crossing her arms. "A beautiful woman like me offering to take you in is a once-in-a-lifetime blessing!"
Before Yuto could reply, the sound of footsteps on water caught their attention.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Several figures approached rapidly, skimming across the flooded streets. Their steps barely disturbed the water's surface, leaving ripples in their wake.
Yuto frowned, his gaze narrowing. "Look at that technique—clean and precise. Meanwhile, you're flailing around like a rookie, Sister Mei."
Mei scowled at him. "You little brat, I could tread water just as effortlessly as them if I wanted to!" she snapped, though her tone lacked its usual fire.
In truth, her eyes were locked on the approaching figures, their powerful auras impossible to ignore.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Within moments, three men landed in front of them. Each of them radiated the unmistakable presence of elite shinobi, and their weapons gleamed ominously.
"They're from the Seven Ninja Swordsmen," Mei muttered, her voice tight with worry. "Jūzō Biwa, Fuguki Suikazan, and Raiga Kurosuki."
Yuto tilted his head. "Figures. It's always the big names showing up at the worst times."
"Yuto…" Mei took a step forward, worry flashing across her face. She knew how dangerous these men were—each one a powerful combatant, capable of leveling an entire battlefield.
But before she could move any closer, Yuto grabbed her arm and gently pushed her behind him.
"Stay back."
Mei froze, her brain momentarily short-circuiting.
"Is this idiot… protecting me?" she thought, her cheeks flushing slightly.
"Oooh… my little brother knows how to protect his big sister now," Mei whispered playfully, leaning close to Yuto's ear. Her breath tickled his skin, and her voice was low enough that only he could hear.
"Hey, cut it out!" Yuto hissed, glaring at her. "We're about to fight three very dangerous people, and you're flirting?! What's wrong with you?!"
"I'm not worried," Mei said with a sly grin, her confidence returning. "Because my little brother would never let his big sister get hurt, right?"
Yuto sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You're insufferable."
