I’m a Human among Fey

Hi guys!

Short answer: I'm putting this story on Hiatus for a bit but very much do intend to return.

Long answer:
Sorry about this but I think it is best for the story if I take a longer break.

The reason being that I think the story is starting to suffer from the weekly uploading schedule. I tend to write in bursts of creativity where I just write a lot of stuff at once then leave the story for a bit to write other things (I currently have 4 1/2 unreleased novels I am concurrently writing on. One of them being a series with almost three books similar to I'm a human among Fey). This is not just me having writers block, I actually write like 6-9 pages a day, every day, it's just that I have lacked the motivation to bring the ideas I have for IHAF to page on a weekly schedule and I have been starting to take shortcuts like releasing shorter chapters or splitting up chapters just to keep the upload schedule going and I fear that if I keep going like this the story will suffer.

For example, right now, I am sitting in front of half a chapter written for an awesome mini arc of Elleanor going to the capitol of her country, that I want to make as magical as the Black Market was, but it just feels like a slog to write right now and I know if I force it it will miss the whimsy.

I am not abandoning IHAF but I will be taking a break from it, then, when I get a burst of creativity and motivation again I will start uploading again. We are currently about 2/3rds done with volume 3, originally I wanted to wait for this break until I finished volume 3 but if I do, the story will suffer.

I'm not sure how the upload schedule will be or if there will be one right now. But I will definitely write more of this story, just not right now.

I am immensely thankful for all of you and I'm sorry if I disappoint you with this. I know I would be.
