I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 361: Regular Scythe?

The Regular Scythe was one of the items she had acquired from her fight with the Puppeteer. With the drawbacks of a powerful recoil whenever you missed, it would be a tricky weapon to use if you had poor handling.

And since it was just any regular scythe currently, except being slightly more durable, it would be unlikely to pierce through a Barrel Mole's armour.

However, with Lillian's gauntlets that enhanced any physical attack and the mana she had infused into her arms—

Shk!

—It was made possible.

The tip of Lillian's scythe shattered through its hard, metallic exterior—entering into its flesh underneath. And once her blade entered its muscles, the monster immediately expelled blood out of its mouth.

At the sight of her scythe piercing through the other side, Lillian smiled as she watched its blood splash onto her chestplate.

"Monsters with normal blood feel like such a rarity nowadays."

Right before the monster could retaliate or possibly free itself from Lillian's scythe, she summoned her jagged-black shortsword, the Regular's Last Spite, and stabbed it through its left eye.

And before it could scream, the electrical aura summoned with the sword's presence appeared—quickly electrocuting the remains of its brain.

A split second after she retrieved her weapons from the monster's corpse, she leapt towards another with a bloodthirsty grin.

At the sight of her, the mole pounced forward, followed by two others.

It watched as Lillian raised her scythe over her shoulder. And seeing this as an attack, it hastily raised its arms in defence.

However, it fell short of Lillian's overall speed as she blitzed forward. And with an overhead swing, she dug her scythe into the centre of its skull with a frightening smile.

[You have slain a Savage Wretch, Barrel Mole.]

To awaken the scythe, she would need to kill 20 entities in a single attack without missing or failing once.

And...

With how many enemies there were, Lillian didn't think it was going to be too much of an issue. Well, that was if she wasn't interrupted.

After killing the two behind the one she had just killed, she was quickly overrun. However, due to the speed and the sharpness of her weapons, the monsters were completely vulnerable to her attacks.

Lillian, in the midst of her killing spree, took a glance towards Millis and found her relaxing behind a wall of stone soldiers. Occasionally, the Heroine dealt with some that got past, but that was about it.

Lillian, seeing that she was fine, continued with her own struggles.

[You have slain a Savage Wretch, Barrel Mole.]

[You have slain a Savage Wretch, Barrel Mole.]

[You have slain...]

While she was extremely effective in dealing with the monsters, she couldn't say she was at a point where she would like to be.

For example, she kept failing to keep up her streak due to the extreme number of obstacles in her way.

If it wasn't for the fact that the area was overly spacious and that Millis was on constant watch for her back, even she feared that she would have been inflicted with some kind of injury.

Lillian watched as the moles climbed over the corpse of their deceased. Her face darkened as she quickly took a step back, swiftly dodging a downward strike.

Lillian hissed at this and quickly swung her scythe, piercing through its skull and restarting her streak.

However, she was currently debating whether or not she should really continue building up the streak of her scythe—she could always do it another time, after all.

After splitting the skull of another, she felt the ground shudder—the shudder of something large and heavy moving to her location.

Since the moment that the moles appeared, both her and Millis were put on a time limit.

And...

It seems that they were running out of time.

With a spin, she swung down her scythe to the mole behind her, intending to pierce through its skull as well.

However, right as her scythe narrowed in on it—

CLANG!

—Something had deflected her swing.

Her eyes shook and widened. She felt her mind quicken and the world slow as she processed what she was currently seeing.

For right now, the sight of a Barrel Mole raising its arms was before her—its armour pristine from damage.

Had it deflected her swing?

With her current strength, mana enhancement and with the passive buff of her gauntlets, that strike would've at most left a nasty scar on its armour.

A split second after this realisation, the seemingly slow world was penetrated as the mole threw what could be a jab at her with heightened speed.

FWIP!

Lillian quickly turned to her left and leaned back, watching as the arm flashed over her. It was way quicker now!

Her left arm, which tightly held the jagged-black shortsword, stabbed towards the mole, which was now standing on its stubby legs.

And since it was a large creature, her sword would undoubtedly be able to reach it, right?

"Tsk!"

This was proven wrong as two moles swarmed her from the side, causing her to back away. For some reason, they were becoming increasingly faster, as well as much more durable.

It was as if...

They were being buffed.

She then felt the ground underneath her shake as stone pillars shot towards the sky, dragging the countless moles around her with them.

Lillian stumbled back, dodging the rising pillars as she stared at them with shock. Where had they suddenly come from?

"Damn... It's dark now..."

Due to her surroundings being blocked with stone walls, the surrounding lights were rendered useless for her. But that was until light suddenly flashed her from behind.

"Ya good there?"

Lillian, still high on alert, swung her sword to the side and narrowly missed a purple-haired woman, who fell back with a frightened expression.

It was Millis.

"D-damn, girl! Chill out!"

"Ah..." Seeing that it was just Millis, Lillian gave an apologetic smile as she held out a hand to the woman, "S-sorry... I was just left startled that's all."

Millis nodded slowly, taking her hand and pulling herself up. She then placed her hands on her hips as she looked towards the ceiling, watching as it shuddered.

"Currently, those beasts are digging through meh walls. What do ya wanna do?"

Seeing that Millis wanted to ask for her opinion on the matter, Lillian answered with...
