I will be a demon in this life!

Chapter 102

As they walked toward the restaurant, both Mart and Iristel observed the luxurious shops.

"I'm definitely still poor. A few high-level demonic artifacts and my account will be empty," thought Mart, who was already approaching the restaurant "Forbidden World."

Once inside, they chose the same spot as before, and a bald waiter with two green horns and blue skin, dressed elegantly, brought them the menu.

Mart didn't waste any time and simply said in a natural, calm tone:

-Bring us everything on the second page of the menu.

The waiter nodded and walked away to tell the cooks to prepare the order immediately.

A few minutes later, on the golden tablecloth, there were multiple dishes that looked exquisite from a human perspective, but simple from a demon's perspective.

Mart looked at the beef, chicken, and salmon steaks, the vegetable salads, the rice, the bread, and the fruit juices on the table, and although his mouth watered just from the smell, he restrained himself as if he were only going to taste something out of simple curiosity.

[Gluttony trait activated]

A few minutes later, Mart was relaxing with an orange juice. He looked at Iristel, who seemed quite calm as she ate. She smiled when she saw Mart looking at her.

-Don't you like it? -Mart asked her.

-Don't worry. Even though it's simple and not very nutritious, I'm counting on you and your nutrients, which are very delicious. -said Iristel with a mischievous smile.

"I hope you don't activate your succubus trait while we're still in the city," Mart thought as he looked at her, but even so, he enjoyed Iristel's company.

-Tomorrow we can go to a restaurant with demonic food that you like. I don't want you to hold back. -Mart said.

Iristel nodded, and when they finished eating, Mart left a small bag of gold coins on the table, and they both left the restaurant.

"System, show me where the sources of demon god energy are?"

[Demon god energy: 15 degrees and 200 meters from the host's current location (walk or fly in a straight line)]

...

Mart looked to his right, focusing on one of the places indicated by the system, but the warrior Sitan approached him and said firmly:

-Young master, take this crystal.

Mart took the demonic crystal in his left hand, and it absorbed some of his demonic energy before glowing slightly.

-Damn rebellious brat, I'll see you in two days at the marquisate, or I'll make you feel the wrath of a grandfather, since your father is incapable of correcting you.

"Wow, so this is what it feels like to have a family," thought Mart, smiling subtly, since in his previous life he had been practically alone. Even so, he used his memories of the real Mart to continue provoking Balac, as he needed someone strong to come to Zazel City.

-I'm not listening to you. All I know is that I'm going to leave a huge bill in your name. They sent me to that damn room for poor people for a semester and didn't even send me money for my expenses. I've had enough punishment. Don't ruin my fun, Grandpa.

-Brat...

Mart threw the demonic crystal at Sitan and walked toward the area where the system detected the nearest demon god energy.

Iristel found the scene amusing and laughed softly, then took Mart's arm and they walked together until they reached a single-story commercial building with a cream-colored facade and an amber-colored wooden door carved with two demons battling each other.

Above the amber door was a silver sign with the title "Sinister Coliseum" written in gold letters.

Mart took a deep breath and looked at Sitan.

Sitan nodded when he saw Mart's gaze.

The three entered the premises, and inside, there was only one demon sitting in front of an amber-colored wooden desk, in a setting with light gray walls, white marble floors, and a wooden ceiling.

The demon at the reception desk was of the insect race, his eyes were like those of a fly, his face was covered with black hair, and he wore a long-sleeved blue shirt and black pants. The demon opened his mouth, revealing a row of sharp teeth, and asked them in a vibrant voice:

"You seem to be new here. Would you like to know the rates?"

The demon at the reception desk extended one of his four arms and handed Mart a piece of paper.

Mart read:

"Sinister Colosseum (prices per day):

1. First basement level: slave market. (Entrance fee: 50 gold coins)

2. Second basement level: sale of weapons, armor, and demonic objects. (Entrance fee: 100 gold coins)

3. Third basement level: Private boxes and grandstands to watch the fights taking place in the arena. (Admission: 10,000, 1,000, or 100 gold coins)

4. Fourth basement level: Bizarre interracial encounters: Everything you can imagine and desire. (100,000 gold coins)"

"Money can do many things. This seems rather questionable," Mart thought after reading the piece of paper handed to him.

-If you pay 100,000, you can access the four underground floors; if you pay 10,000, you can access the remaining three. -said the demon at the reception desk in his vibrant voice.

Mart placed 30,000 gold coins on the desk. The demon at the reception desk stored the coins in a demonic ring while waving another hand, and a bright red door appeared on the wall behind the reception desk.

-You may pass. The red door will only allow you to overcome the demonic barriers of the first three floors. -said the demon at the reception desk.

Mart nodded and walked with Iristel by his side, followed by Sitan.

Mart opened the red door and before them appeared a descending staircase with black steps, white walls and ceiling, and some high-quality luminous stones that illuminated the descending path.

••••

The three walked in silence for a few minutes, descending the steps until they arrived in front of a gray door.

Mart was about to open the door, but the warrior Sitan stepped in front of him.

-Allow me, young sir. -Sitan said in a firm tone, and shortly thereafter opened the door.

When Sitan opened the door, they saw a room with orange walls, a brown tile floor, a glass ceiling, and a gray door at the end. In the room were different types of clothing and masks to hide the face.

Mart took a brown hood and tunic. Iristel made the same choice as Mart. And Sitan was no exception.

"We are the conspirators of conspirators," Mart joked in his mind as they walked to the next door, which was opened by Sitan.

••••

It was a huge place with a white ceiling quite far from the floor. The floor was paved with white and gray stones, and there were various shops.

Some shops were luxurious.

Other shops were simple in appearance.

And there were some that looked dilapidated.

As they walked, some demons approached them, trying to promote the shops on the first basement level.

Gentlemen, we have high-quality slaves who will put up a good fight in the coliseum!

Your Excellencies, we have beautiful women of different species, some pure and others already defiled, but all of them beautiful!

We sell monsters of different types. Prices vary depending on what you are looking for!

"System, do you detect demon god energy?" Mart asked as he surveyed his surroundings.

[Demon god energy detected: (03)]

[The demon god energy is located deep within the host's location]

"So I must continue down," Mart thought, remaining vigilant.

Mart kept walking until he saw a place called "Limbo" with the subtitle, "It may or may not be."

Mart walked with Iristel to the simple but tidy-looking place.

Upon entering, the interior of the premises had the same white and gray stone cobblestone floors. On either side, in large wooden cages with floors covered in dry grass, there was a variety of men and women of the beast races, all dressed in old and worn clothes.

"I didn't think it would be impossible to see something like this. But since I was surrounded by demons, it seemed unlikely. I think I should be grateful that I transmigrated as Mart Sevec. Starting out in a place like this would have been disheartening," Mart thought as he looked at the slaves.

They continued walking and saw slaves of the elven, dwarf, and human races.

"So even here, there are humans. It seems cruel, but human tactics wouldn't mind infiltrating one or two humans as slaves to act at the right moment," Mart thought as he cautiously looked at the humans in the cages.

Mart retraced his steps and observed the beast men and women. Most of the men were tall, sturdy, and muscular.

"Come closer!" Mart said to a young-looking, somewhat pretty beast woman who had rabbit ears and long black hair, white skin, and red eyes.

The beast woman approached and seemed frightened.
