Chapter 6: Unexpected Vacation
Gim felt like he had put on 1,000 pounds. He slowly opened his eyes, a little dazed from the whole disintegration thing. Not to mention being transported to some parallel dimension. At least Gim first thought that's what it was. His body was stocky and oddly rectangular. It was no wonder he felt heavier. Gimmick had seemed to have grown in the minutes he was unconscious.
Gimmick looked around getting a very heavy sense of deja vu he almost stumbled back. The air around him felt different. He felt like he was looking through a 4k-HD graphics lens. A field of pixelated oak trees stretched in front of him. A big trunk etched with lines surrounded by dark green blocks. The inside of the leaves had a pattern of smaller cubes which were a lighter color than the first one. The grass was a nice green with some shrubs popping out every few inches away. A few yellow and red flowers were planted right beside Gim's feet.
'No, it couldn't be' Gim got up.
He raised his arms to observe his body more. He was still wearing the light brown cargo pants and the white long sleeve shirt, but it had become blocky and linear. It had no wrinkles nor stains. It looked like his mom had freshly ironed his shirt. The very familiar way his clothes seemed to confirm his theories on where he arrived.
'I'm in Minecraft'
Then a large smile crept up on his blocky face. He ran forwards excitedly, busting out a front flip. Gim, was very confused on how he did that and why, but he continued forward into the oak tree forest. "I can't believe I'm in Minecraft, hahaha!" Gim ran forward, his laugh echoing through the forest. This was going to be the best vacation ever.
