I Was a Loner, but My Class Got Summoned to Another World…

Chapter 371: Blood Queen's Minions

Logan couldn't help but feel proud. Wyver had always strived to become a true dragon. Even back when Cindra had joined the team, Logan remembered how the frost drake had gone quiet—clearly feeling overshadowed. But now, there was no mistaking it.

Wyver had ascended.

Not just in power, but in presence. Logan could feel it through the bond—they weren't looking at a mere beast anymore. Wyver felt whole.

[Good for you, Wyver. Good for you,] Logan whispered over the Empathic Link, smiling faintly receiving a loud roar as a response.

As the first to approach, he experienced the dragon's new might up close. The freezing air that clung to Wyver hit him point blank. Logan's teeth chattered uncontrollably from the sudden temperature drop.

He quickly cast a Fire Shield to counter the cold and stepped in for a closer look.

The transformation was staggering.

Wyver's massive body now stood at six meters tall, easily twice his previous size. His tail alone added another three meters, tipped with a spiked end that looked capable of leveling stone.

His wings were vast—each one easily stretching ten meters wide when fully extended—both of them where like a second pair of arms muscular enough to sustain his weight so he could fly.

Where his body once bore smooth, scaled hide, it now filled with thick, jagged layers of ice-hardened armor. Spiked ridges ran down his back, and his head was crowned with two massive, curved horns that had grown to be another useful weapon. His fangs now stretched nearly half a meter each, built for ripping through anything foolish enough to challenge him.

But what truly stood out—was the title that he gained after evolution.

Cryofang Sovereign.

It was no longer just a name. Wyver had become what dragons were meant to be: kings of the skies and true masters of their respective elemental dominion. His command over ice wasn't just potent—it was absolute. Even Logan's other creatures hesitated to step close, instinctively keeping a respectful distance, especially from the cold.

There were still more.

Logan hadn't yet checked on his other level 80s—Silis, Terra, Riptide, Luna and several others he had noticed had recently broken through. But for now, they'd have to wait.

His focus remained on the ones he'd be bringing to the dark temple island: Gaia, Elarion, Scorch, and Wyver.

They were massive, far too large to all fit on a single ship. He needed to wait just a few more minutes for the ship to arrive near the island. For now, only two could be deployed.

He glanced toward Wyver and Elarion. One could soar above the ship's masthead. The other, light-footed and compact despite his power, could ride within the vessel.

As he made the arrangements and send them using the teleportation array, another flying creature caught his eye.

[I hope I wasn't late, I was busy training with the others!]

Lisa had arrived—riding on her griffin.

Of course it too had reached level 80, Logan did not have to look at its stats to know how powerful Orus was now.

The creature had changed. Its frame had become refined; the legs were slimmer now, built for grace over brute force. The body had grown too, shedding a good portion of its feathery body. It now resembled a fusion of owl and horse instead of a mutated owl—sleek, agile, and unmistakably majestic. Its feathers were gold with white tips, it was a proper mount for a Valkyrie.

Celestial Winged Seraph.

It was a long species name, but it suited the griffin's new form perfectly. Radiant feathers, golden glow, and equipped with armored plating over its vitals—a matching set with its rider. The creature's transformation mirrored Lisa's own, especially now that she wore her full metallic armor. Together, the two looked ready for war.

Logan had to admit it: he would definitely struggle in a fight against her now.

[Don't worry, you're still on time. I'm just waiting for Silvia to bring back Serana and her minions so we can return. Rubina's also bringing Uriel, so we'll only have to wait ten minutes—fifteen tops,] Logan explained over the mental link, watching as light snowflakes drifted down from the sky.

He was glad he had sent Wyver ahead. The dragon's aura had already caused unnatural snowfall to form above the town. The enchanted trees he'd planted were becoming rowdy, their branches twitching like they were preparing to strike whoever was causing the bright warm day to become like that of winter. Scarlet had started extending her thorned vines, clearly getting ready to toss Wyver out of her dome. While the Ent, Silis, and Terra were big, Logan knew that Scarlet his first tame was probably the largest out of any, she encompassed an entire city with ease.

"That's good to hear," Lisa replied, her tone steady. "I only arrived through public teleportation with Orus after he finished evolving. I hope nothing happened after we left the ship though."

She reached down to pat Orus gently, signaling it was time to land. The majestic owl-griffin obeyed, descending gracefully and folding one of its wings to offer a step.

But before she could hop down—

Fwoosh.

Logan appeared in a blink—Darkness Arrow, followed instantly by Shadow Step—materializing just beneath her with an outstretched arm.

"Still not used to wearing that heavy armor yet?" he said with a teasing smile, catching her mid-air. Even so, he struggled slightly under the added weight.

Lisa huffed. "It seems you are also struggling. Now put me down before you throw your back out."

She began to summon her angelic wings—only to stop when she suddenly felt herself lighten.

"You forgot I can control wind now," Logan said, grinning. "So don't worry about your weight... milady."

He reached up, slowly removing her helmet before drawing her into a kiss as they gently descended to the ground.

The moment lasted all of five seconds.

[You know… it'd be really nice if I didn't have to watch you two kiss every time I'm around,] a voice chimed in—dry and utterly unimpressed.

Logan turned with a chuckle. "You should've said something instead of lurking."

Standing nearby were Yui and her brother, Ren. The boy looked red-faced and determined not to make eye contact. His sister, on the other hand, looked annoyed but unsurprised.

Logan gave a slight shrug. "I sensed you anyway. You two forget that a tamer can feel the emotions of those his connected with. And yours are always a bit... evident."

While the boy looked down, clearly embarrassed to the point he didn't know where to look, his sister Yui was different. Logan caught the faintest flicker—barely a trace—of curiosity beneath her usual irritation.

He was about to say something—maybe tease her—when a portal shimmered open nearby.

Silvia stepped out, calm and unreadable as ever.

Right behind her came Serana, flanked by her six minions—each more defined, more terrifying, more stable than before.

The first to emerge was the Wight-Girl.

Clad in layered bone and obsidian armor, her sunken crimson eyes glowed with eerie calm. Shorter than the others, but her lethal presence made up for it. She moved with the practiced grace of an assassin—an executioner with platinum-white hair and a face that still held youthful beauty, despite being undead.

Next came the Shadow Devourer.

Her form spilled onto the grass like a splash of living ink before coalescing into a tall, slender woman with flowing black hair and a midnight gown that clung like liquid. She was striking—and disturbingly elegant. There was no longer emptiness in her expression, only a sadistic glint in her blood-red eyes. A predator dressed as a seductress. Poor innocent Ren had to turn his gaze to the sky just to stop himself from staring.

Then came the Blood-Forged Demon.

Towering and crimson-skinned, with curved horns and massive wings folded behind him like a noble's cloak. His tusk-like fangs, glowing eyes made it clear—he wasn't just a brute. He was a vampire warlord. Unlike the others, he scanned the town with a calculating gaze. Logan noticed it—that hungry look. Like a child staring through the window of a candy shop.

Fourth was the bat-like familiar the only difference was that it had only one large eye it kept closed.

It hovered silently above, vanishing and reappearing midair using dark magic. Small and almost illusionary, yet every flap of its wings pulsed with dense mana.

The fifth was her mount.

It pounced forward beside her with disciplined demeanor—a black-furred beast resembling a mutated wolf or fox, its face was covered by an armored mask only revealing it's piercing red eyes which revealed its intelligence. The large beast reminded Logan of Serana's Garmr form, only that it was equally as large as Orus. It had been given a saddle and wore it with pride, clearly taking its role as a steed seriously.

And then… the sixth.

Something emerged from the portal or should it be said it slithered from the portal, extended it so it could fit thought it.
