I Want to Die, But I Am Immortal

In a short while Adam also reached the corner from where he had separated from Cyan and Drake. And he had gone from there to deal with his target.

Adam stood at that corner for a moment.

He leaned against the cool concrete wall. The reason for Adam's standing was because he heard a slight sound from the same path from which Cyan had run.

Adam thought that he would wait for Cyan.

He wouldn't leave him behind. Adam's eyes went to the place from where he had run. He saw that the guards were slowly coming from there. He couldn't see them yet.

Adam had not seen them yet.

But he could tell from the vibrations on the floor that many guards were after him. But Adam was still ready to take the risk. He knew that his body could withstand some bullets.

Because he have the power to do so but he can't said that for Cyan, the status of Adam is significantly increased by previous loop and the people he kill as reward he gets the state of the person and even Adam didn't want these things but Everybody don't let him rest.

But Adam stste is much higher than anyone in this build.

And especially after killing so many people in so many loops Adam's body had completely improved his iron skin. And it could withstand many gun bullets.

But Cyan could not withstand that much. He was human. And he needed Cyan. He was a valuable asset. So Adam decided that he would wait for Cyan.

Adam looked again and again at the corridor from where he had come. And then he looked at the corridor where Cyan had gone. Adam was saying in his mind "Hurry up Cyan."

Then he saw Cyan running and turning from the corner of the corridor where Cyan had gone. He was very surprised to find Adam in front of him. He had expected Adam to be long gone. Adam's eyes went from his corridor to Cyan's corridor. He was very happy when he saw Cyan running.

Then he also heard a voice from behind. It was the sound of shouting. Which was of the guards. Who were saying "Fire." At this time Cyan came running in front of Adam. And then he understood what had happened. Adam was waiting there for him. And as soon as Cyan came near Adam the firing started from there.

A hail of bullets filled the corridor. Seeing this Cyan looked at that firing. He had no time at all to avoid those bullets. He thought that he would die now. This was the end. Seeing this Cyan could only close his eyes. Because he could not do anything. But then Adam moved his hand forward.

He grabbed Cyan's hand and pulled him forward. He brought him in front of him. And he turned his back towards the guns from where the bullets were being fired.

Adam immediately pulled Cyan and moved forward from there while the bullets were being fired very fast and were hitting Adam's back and falling here and there.

He said "Open your eyes. Have you come to die?" Hearing this Cyan who was still running opened his eyes. He saw that Adam had shielded him from that direction. His own body had become a human shield.

Then they ran a little away from that corridor. Where the bullets had stopped firing on them. But the guards were running from there. Who were still pointing their guns at them and were about to fire.

Cyan was very surprised. He looked at Adam and said "You have been shot." He saw the impacts on Adam's back.

Cyan thought that Adam is being shot for him and he didn't understand why he do that.

Then Adam said "I have not been shot. Let's go quickly. We will talk later." Saying this Cyan nodded his head. He also started to run very fast. However he was still very confused. Because he had seen it with his own eyes.

And he was sure that Adam's body had been shot. Then Adam who was easily getting ahead of Cyan held Cyan's hand.

He shouted and said "Try not to fall." As soon as Cyan saw that Adam had held his hand he understood what was going to happen. Then Cyan's body started to be pulled forward. Seeing this he was already waiting for it.

He tried to run forward by hitting his feet on the ground as fast as he could. Because of which the speed of both of them became very high.

There was a turn in the path ahead of the corridor. They turned from there dragging themselves. Because of which Adam hit the other wall of that turn. Cyan also hit Adam's chest because of the high speed.

And immediately both of them fell down in a heap. Immediately after falling Cyan stood up very fast. He moved his hand forward and grabbed Adam's hand and also made him stand up.

Adam stood up and looked at Cyan. He said "Thank you. But we have to go from here now." Saying this Cyan also nodded his head. Both of them started to run fast.

However Adam usually fought with all these people. That was his style. He was a lone wolf. But now he had another team with him. Who had come to do a mission with him. So Adam was also worried about their lives.

However Adam was not worried like this before. But now he was worried that no one from this team should die in this mission. Cyan noticed this change in Adam. He said "Let's go quickly."

Seeing the guards Cyan shouted into the device in his ear. "Was the exit plan successful?" After hearing this Drake who was standing on the roof and breathing heavily said while taking deep breaths "I have cleared it. Come as soon as possible. I am making preparations." Saying this he let out his breath. He immediately started to open some more equipment there. Which would be useful for their escape.

On the other hand Samanta also came out from the other gate. She ran straight to the van. Which was standing a short distance away. Where Monica was sitting inside the van and watching everything from the CCTV footage.

Seeing Samanta coming towards her she opened the gate of the van. Immediately after which Samanta got into that van. She said "What is their status?" Then Monica said very hyper "Adam and Cyan are still downstairs. And Drake is planning the escape route."

Then Samanta said "So why didn't you activate the diversion?" After hearing this Monica said very nervously "Until Adam and Cyan go up from the first or second floor I can't activate it. They can be killed." Then Samanta shouted "If they don't come out and this diversion is not activated they will be killed anyway. Activate it quickly." Monica hesitated a lot.

But after Samanta's repeated requests she picked up a remote next to the driver in that van. And she pressed the red button on it.

Then another explosion happened. This explosion happened in that control room. Where Samanta had taken over some time ago. Because of which Adam and Cyan who were walking on the stairs immediately staggered.

The whole building shook. But Adam caught the railing of the stairs with one hand. He pulled Cyan's hand with the other hand and said "Don't stop. Keep moving." The guards who were downstairs took their guns in their hands.

They were about to climb the stairs. But that explosion had thrown them on the ground. And all the guards were lying here and there on the ground. They were disoriented and confused. They had no idea what was happening.

Adam and Cyan finally ran very fast and reached the roof. Where Cyan came out first. And going outside he saw Drake a short distance away.

Who had worn something. A strange harness. Seeing Cyan and Adam he took a bag in his hand and ran towards both of them. Adam closed that gate behind him.

He put a piece of iron in that gate with his full strength and bent it. He jammed the lock. So that the gate could not be opened. Adam ran and immediately went to Cyan and Drake.

Where they had worn something like a bag. Which was of black color. Cyan was still adjusting that bag properly. Drake looked at Adam. And he had an extra bag in his hand. He said to Adam "Wear this quickly. We don't have time at all." They were a short distance away from the boundary of the roof of the building. Drake looked at that boundary.

He said "This is our escape route." Then Cyan who had worn that bag properly put a finger in his ear. He said "Get the van ready quickly." Hearing this Monica who was sitting inside said "Roger that. I am doing it right now."
