I Thought It Was a Fairy Tale but the Genre Is Strange

chapter 1

Prologue – Thought it was a fairy tale, but the genre is strange?

Have you ever had a moment when you couldn’t resist your rampant curiosity? At least I have. On my way home from school, I couldn’t help but follow a pitch-black rabbit wearing a black hat and cloak that suddenly appeared.

The creature glanced at me with its bright red eyes and then started hopping up the mountain.

Watching the rabbit’s cute little bottom wiggle away, I couldn’t help but chase after it.

Just like when I was a curious little kid, discovering an unknown place and setting off on an adventure with a puff of excitement.

I closely pursued the rabbit.

Panting and struggling up the mountain, my pace slowed as I felt the fatigue and pain in my legs. I came to my senses and wondered what I was doing.

Tap, tap, tap, tap.

But I couldn’t just go back after seeing that sight. The black rabbit, as if wanting to be chased, stopped and looked at me, tapping the ground repeatedly with its long feet.

With a “what the heck” attitude, I mustered up my strength once more. How much time had passed like that? I reached a tree exuding a strange atmosphere. The mystical ancient tree, emanating a sacred power, soared high into the sky.

But the rabbit was nowhere to be seen. While searching for the rabbit that had disappeared, I discovered a large hole near the tree roots. Thinking it might have gone inside, I bent down and approached the hole.

Whack!

Someone kicked my bottom, and I was sucked down the rabbit hole.

The last thing I saw as I fell was the rabbit grinning with its prominent front teeth.

And so, I came to this place.

“Gya-ha-ha! Have you seen a white rabbit? I absolutely want to roast that damned creature! Oh? Your clothes are white, are you a white rabbit? Wait a minute, come here. Just a taste.”

The mad hunter, Alice in Wonderland, who cruelly slaughters and roasts every white creature she finds while searching for the white rabbit.

“No one can own me! Because I am the strongest!”

Snow White, who awakened after eating the poisoned apple, rejected the prince who confessed to her, and plotted a rebellion with the infamous seven dwarfs as her subordinates.

[My. Prince. Where. Are. You?]

During a deal with the witch, the mute mermaid princess realized that the witch was trying to curse her, so she killed the witch and emerged from the water. Instead of speaking, she used the witch’s necklace to express her thoughts in a stiff, mechanical voice.

She had arrived in a fairy tale land where the genre had somehow gone awry. And I never dreamed.

That the princesses would be so obsessed with me.
