CHAPTER 336

CHAPTER 336: Annihilated

Just as Lu Ming had initially assessed these people—Clowns.

Bo Hao, Sikong Zhen, Rafe, Deng Miao, and now Kebo… all of them were nothing more than clowns!

Lu Ming didn’t even need to know their names. They were mere trash, easily dismissed. Even if he had bothered to learn their names, what difference would it make?

What truly mattered to Lu Ming were his senior brother Lin Feng, Boshi Tower, and the situation unfolding outside.

These were the things worthy of his attention—everything else was irrelevant.

Everything revolved around strength.

As early as three years ago, Lu Ming had cultivated his first primordial pattern. Since then, he had never wavered, steadily progressing by cultivating one primordial pattern per month, constantly growing stronger.

Now, the three-year deadline had passed, and thirty-six primordial patterns were the result of Lu Ming’s relentless efforts.

Everyone knew that primordial patterns were distinct from gold and silver patterns. Primordial patterns were incredibly difficult to cultivate. However, once cultivated, the physical body would undergo a profound transformation. The power of a single primordial pattern far surpassed hundreds of silver patterns and dozens of golden patterns!

In fact, just possessing a primordial pattern meant that one could be considered a semi-divine realm expert, regardless of how many other mystical Dao patterns existed.

So, despite Lu Ming currently having only thirty-nine mystical Dao patterns, it was entirely accurate to say that he was a semi-divine realm expert. And not just any ascendants—he was a terrifying one, specializing in primordial patterns, with a total of thirty-six!

From the start, Lu Ming never believed that these clowns could pose any real threat to him.

The one who truly concerned Lu Ming was Jeros, the Ice Pillar Demon God from the outside.

The gap between an Ascendant and a Divine Realm expert was monumental. Once Jeros made his move, even if Lu Ming took refuge in Boshi Tower, it was unlikely he could withstand Jeros, let alone assist Jiu Han in protecting their foundation.

To solve this problem, Lu Ming focused on finding a solution through the Dao of Array Formations.

However, Lin Feng’s sudden disturbance within, competing with him for control of the Boshi Tower, posed a much greater challenge. The pressure and danger Lin Feng brought far exceeded those of the semi-divine realm clowns.

If Lin Feng succeeded in seizing control of the Boshi Tower, not only would Lu Ming’s life be at risk, but he would also fail to fulfill the promise he had made to Jiu Han. This thought weighed heavily on him—failing Jiu Han after all he had done for him was unacceptable.

That was why Lu Ming had dedicated himself to cultivation and advancement from the outset, not wasting time on insignificant distractions.

But now…

Now, Lu Ming was annoyed.

These fools had no sense of the situation. They were brainless, and though he hadn’t wanted to deal with them due to his pressing predicament, they had pushed him too far.

“Well, if you’re that eager to die, I’ll oblige.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Lu Ming bent down and clenched his fists. A blood-colored light flashed from his chest.

In the next instant, Lu Ming shot forward, leaving a black streak in the air, and appeared directly in front of Kebo.

The primordial patterns granted Lu Ming a sensation of pure freedom. Absolute control.

Three years ago, when Lu Ming cultivated his first primordial pattern, he immediately felt liberated. Before acquiring primordial patterns, despite his growing strength, Lu Ming always felt constrained, especially when faced with silver and gold mystical Dao patterns.

The inexplicable forces of the mystical  Dao patterns—the power of rules—always held him back, limiting his ability to unleash his full potential. Even if his strength could crush mountains and seas, he would somehow be defeated under the suppression of these rules.

But once he had succeeded in achieving one primordial Dao pattern, everything changed.

With the neutralizing effect of the primordial  Dao patterns, the power of gold and silver Dao patterns—and the very rules themselves—became ineffective.

Now, with the primordial Dao patterns coursing through his body, strength was strength. There were no more arbitrary limitations. If your muscles were strong, that strength was absolute!

And in this moment, Lu Ming was no longer bound by any inexplicable rules or constraints. All that remained was the strength he had painstakingly cultivated—the absolute strength and freedom that came from constant accumulation.

His explosive power even tore through space, leaving a trail of black flames in his wake.

And this was Lu Ming merely in his [Self-Limitation State.]

His raging aura, like a ferocious beast at the top of the food chain, was unleashed fully. Kebo had no time to react. He stood frozen, helpless, like a rabbit caught in the path of a tiger—pitiful and defenseless.

A low “buzz” resounded as Lu Ming threw a punch.

In that moment, Kebo felt as though time had slowed. He could clearly see the trajectory of Lu Ming’s punch, feeling the imminent approach of death.

But he couldn’t move.

“Move…”

“Move!!”

“Ahhhhhhh!”

Perhaps through sheer willpower or a miracle born from his desperation to survive, Kebo suddenly felt his body relax. He regained control.

With a desperate lunge, he reached out and pushed against Lu Ming’s shoulder. The tremendous reactionary force sent Kebo flying backward, pulling him away from Lu Ming.

Locking eyes with Lu Ming, Kebo gasped for breath, barely managing to speak. “I underestimated you… but if you think you can kill me, cough, cough, cough…”

He couldn’t finish his sentence. A violent coughing fit overtook him.

Between coughs, Kebo glimpsed Deng Miao’s expression from the corner of his eye.

She looked despondent, with a barely perceptible hint of pity.

Pity? Kebo thought. Pity for me? Why would she pity me?

In that moment of confusion, a searing pain ripped through his body.

Slowly, Kebo lowered his head, understanding at last.

Lu Ming’s punch had pierced his chest, obliterating his heart entirely.

Regeneration powers—useless.
Secret techniques—useless.

Resurrection methods—useless.

Under the power of the primordial Dao patterns, flesh was still flesh, and vulnerabilities were still vulnerabilities. If your head was shattered, if your heart was destroyed—you would die. This was the sheer, overwhelming force of primordial Dao patterns.

Kebo had managed to push Lu Ming away, succeeding in his attempt to escape.

But Lu Ming’s hand remained embedded in his chest, unmoved. Instead, it was Kebo’s fragile body that shifted and tore.

It was like being impaled on a spear and then jerking upward—the spear tore through his body, splitting him from chest to abdomen to legs. His original wound had become a horrific gash.

His vision blurred. In the final moments of his life, all Kebo saw were his own internal organs and intestines scattered on the ground beneath him.

“Are those mine?”

“Yes, those are mine…”

The light of his mystical Dao patterns flickered and died.

Kebo’s consciousness faded, and he collapsed to the ground.

And alongside him, another Ascendant—Deng Miao—fell to her knees, trembling as she looked at Lu Ming with desperate humility.

“If I bring Lin Feng to you… will you spare me?” she pleaded.

Lu Ming’s response came swiftly, with his fist.
