Chapter 351
Extra Chapter: Change of Common Sense – 1
Aside from the fact that it’s definitely not an outfit suitable for the street, the attire in the Eclipse world had quite a few similarities to the clothing from my world.
There were the white sleeveless tops and dolphin shorts that the Silver Dawn Knights wore for their conquests, and the naked button-up shirts that were often spotted on the streets.
Even if we set aside the various types of nun uniforms and the flashy bikini armor that the holy knights donned, which were basically only good for cosplay.
Then a fundamental question arose.
“Did you know they have clothes here that are exactly like yours?”
Iris, Lize, and Erica, who’d been stacking up piles of snacks and munching away like crazy for the past few days, widened their eyes in confusion.
“What does that mean?”
“What are you talking about?”
“What does that mean?”
Clearly, it was a question that completely bewildered them, considering how Lize, Iris, and even Erica responded with blank stares.
Claudia, who was missing, lost a bet and went to the convenience store to buy snacks. I had cast a perception-inhibiting magic, so she wouldn’t be detected by people or even CCTV cameras, so there was no need to worry.
“This.”
I showed them a picture of the dolphin shorts on my smartphone. The three of them huddled around, staring intently at the photo displayed on the screen.
“That looks just like your outfit.”
Then they tilted their heads.
“Is it really the same? This?”
“Is it not?”
“Sorry to say, but anyone can see it doesn’t look like our outfits at all, right?”
“Not similar?”
“Yep. No matter how you look at it, it’s completely different!”
I wondered if I had picked the wrong picture. Sure, the wearer’s chest was much smaller than Erica’s, and the exposure was somewhat less, but the core elements of the sleeveless top and dolphin shorts hadn’t disappeared.
Lize’s sleeveless top, which was tightly stretched to contain her chest, Erica’s loose-feeling sleeveless top, and the snug dolphin shorts around Iris’s hips and thighs.
They looked practically the same to me.
“…….”
With a face that clearly indicated my disbelief, Lize abruptly stood up. She then pulled Erica, who had been clinging to my left arm, along with her.
Erica shot a glare at Lize as if to say, “What crazy thing are you pulling on me now?” but she still went along with it.
“Alright, watch closely, Delta. This is the proud attire of our Silver Dawn Knights. Here’s the chest area.”
Lize grabbed the hem of Erica’s sleeveless top from behind and lifted it. Because of that, the sleeveless top rode up, exposing her pristine side and indented belly button.
“And this is the bottoms. How’s that, can you see it clearly?”
Her left hand moved toward the dolphin shorts. The dolphin shorts were pulled down. Her lower belly was revealed, and part of the Y-zone where her thighs met her body was exposed.
Erica shrieked and twisted, her face pale as she laid bare everything from below her chest to about a hand’s breadth above her pubic bone.
“Have you lost your mind, sister?!”
Erica shook off her sister’s hand, glaring at Lize, who smirked back shamelessly.
“Why? I was just explaining to Delta how our attire is put together.”
“You could just use your own clothes! Why are you stripping someone else’s?!”
“So you didn’t like it? If you didn’t, then say, ‘I do not wish to show my body to Delta’ while clearly enunciating each word. I’ll apologize.”
While Lize emphatically smiled in response, Erica seemed to be mulling over how to retaliate and chewed on her lips in frustration. This only encouraged Lize further.
Smack! Lize slapped Erica’s butt. That was the signal to back off. Perfectly toyed with, Erica shuddered and returned to sit beside me on my left side. Lize settled back down between my legs.
Iris muttered, “I could’ve been used for that instead….”
“Since I showed you just now, you’ve definitely remembered how our attire looks, right? Isn’t it completely different from the clothes you showed me, Delta?”
It really didn’t seem that way to me.
I wore an expression of utter confusion, and Lize looked equally frustrated. As the two of us were stuck in this deadlock, Iris discreetly pressed her chest against me.
“If you can’t distinguish by looking, how about using a more hands-on approach to tell them apart?”
She gripped my right hand, gently lifting the sleeveless top and sliding it inside. My fingers delved into the space between the attire, brushing against a mix of muscle and soft flesh, gliding over ribcage to below her chest.
Lize’s eyes widened. She seemed completely taken aback by Iris’s boldness.
“…This might be a better method than what that damned sister of mine used.”
Erica joined in right away. Instead of following Iris, she chose a different approach.
With a firm grasp on my wrist, her palm guided my hand inside the red dolphin shorts. Her fingers brushed against the inner thigh and began to slowly ascend.
“You really don’t need to touch, do you?”
In the midst of my surprise, Lize changed her posture, looking knowingly at me while leaning against my thigh and kneeling. She then positioned her chest towards me, letting it lightly rest atop my groin.
I was about to suggest we should stop since Claudia would be back soon when Lize’s mouth was about to latch onto my zipper.
“I’m back—”
Bang! The door swung open energetically, and Claudia strode in, casually dressed in jeans and a jacket. If the size of the bags in her hands was anything to go by, she must have wiped out the convenience store.
“—huh…?”
Claudia barely took more than a few steps into the room before freezing in her spot.
Iris had inserted my hand into her sleeveless top, wedging it between her breasts; Erica had practically mounted my hand like it was her dolphin shorts; and Lize was kneeling between my legs with my zipper in her mouth, drawing a rather explicit scene.
Seizing the moment, I pulled my body away. The other knight commanders adjusted their clothing, and no one seemed particularly sad about not going all the way.
Except for Iris. Lately, it felt like she was undergoing some change in her personality. I couldn’t tell if it was for the better or worse.
“This? This is different from our clothes, right?”
As she sorted through her purchases from the convenience store, I hesitantly asked, and Claudia reacted similarly.
What on earth was going on?
After the experience where my common sense crumbled due to the knight commanders, I decided I should try different clothing.
‘The folks from the Holy Kingdom and Nix are out of the question, but…’
There was no need to even mention the Pope’s attire, nor did Stella, Selene, or Nix fall within the scope of outfits that could be tested naturally.
Their costumes were the kind that would require a specialized cosplay team to custom-make if you wanted to see someone wearing them.
“May I take a moment, Kaiquilia?”
“If it concerns you, it’s no problem at all. Do you have something to say?”
I gazed intently at Kaiquilia. She wore a uniform that plunged deeply in the chest area, just barely revealing black lingerie, with an extremely short skirt and black stockings.
It was hardly what you’d call everyday attire here, so what I had in mind was a little different.
“I’d like you to put on the combat outfit just once.”
“The combat outfit?”
Kaiquilia looked puzzled but didn’t press further. When her golden eyes disappeared behind her eyelids, the uniform transformed into a long suit.
“Since it’s your request, I shall oblige without further question, but I need a reason.”
“Do you not think this outfit resembles that one?”
I held out a picture of a black suit coat, white button-up shirt, and black suit pants. Kaiquilia looked at me with a bemused expression.
“Where does it even resemble my combat outfit? Have your eyes gone peculiar, Delta?”
So that wasn’t it either.
“Ahhhhh! Again, again… why is this—sniff, hick! Ugh, haah, sniff… again, just can’t—”
As a punishment for my useless side comments, I toyed around until the room filled with a peach scent. Kaiquilia, drenched as if she had been submerged in water, gasped and collapsed onto the bed.
“Does this look similar to my clothes, does it?”
“Of course, it’s not entirely the same, just the vibe.”
Next up was Aurora. She had been wearing a newly made, so-called “New City Miss Look” one-piece dress, which had been a staple after taking her position as lord.
Such a rare outfit wasn’t exactly common in this world either.
Of course, whether it was an outfit that displayed the back while purposefully leaving the chest area loose enough to show the underboob, along with exposing the side and armpit area, warranted some consideration.
“I don’t think so.”
Pausing the game, I held up a picture while Aurora scrunched her face in thought, droning on about how her dress and the one I showed her were different.
I couldn’t relate to most of it. As far as I could see, the differences were merely in how much skin was revealed. To me, they all looked pretty similar.
“This is a custom outfit I ordered directly. You can’t compare it to ordinary clothes from your world. Have your eyes gone wobbly, Delta?”
“……”
Since she sounded just like her aunt, I treated her similarly. Aurora, much like Kaiquilia, began to cry out, even though she didn’t know why, pleading for it all to stop before collapsing onto the bed.
“Welcome, my child.”
Lastly, I went to find Minerva. Perhaps due to having spent a joyful time recently, she had a benevolent smile that could even make Buddha weep.
“What brings you here?”
With a half-hearted attitude, I presented her with a photo that I thought resembled her bathrobe most. And, sure enough, it was the same result again.
“This doesn’t even look like a dress at first glance, my child. It’s a bit inappropriate to compare it with my dress.”
“Huh?”
“So, Nix.”
After being grounded from entering my room following the age mention incident, I took Nix, who had been sulking, and brought her into the room. Nix seemed delighted, grinning widely.
Setting her on my thigh, I ruffled her hair and spoke.
“Yep. What’s up, Delta?”
“I think I need to teach you a little lesson on common sense again.”
If things go well, maybe I could even make her wear something that appeared to be either a knight uniform or a dress.
