Chapter 336
Side Story: Vision – 2
As soon as a smile appeared on the face of the madwoman, her physical state clearly changed. It meant one thing: Eclipse had deemed the current situation dangerous.
Reflecting on this, I moved instinctively. I swung my arm and shattered the handcuffs. Last time, no matter how much I struggled, the restraint ring had remained intact, but it tore away so easily this time.
“Yep. That’s right. It was the second time.”
The woman with black hair and black eyes was still perched on the window frame, grinning wickedly. Seizing the opportunity, I ripped off the remaining shackles. Fragments of the iron chain flew through the air with a clang.
“My dad has already been here once… I must have failed to keep him. Since I failed, he probably consulted my mom on what to do next. Following her advice, he returned to find out the exact date of this time period. And mom is probably still watching over him. There’s no way she would let him go freely. Am I right, dad?”
In that short span, she had predicted everything that had happened. My thoughts became complicated. Since Eclipse had promised to protect me, should I fight here?
But given the lack of any particular help, it could also mean that I was capable of handling this. As I hesitated, the woman spoke in a somewhat condescending tone.
“You’re just waiting for mom to come help, aren’t you, dad? If so, you’d better give up quietly. Mom can never come, you know. I’ve blocked her.”
“…What?”
“She’s trying really hard to come here. But it’s impossible anyway. She’s probably just watching us aimlessly right now.”
Her pitch-black eyes slowly rolled around. They landed near my shoulder.
“Hi, mom. Are you watching well? I seriously don’t understand why you’re so foolish. You haven’t changed a bit since the old days. Did you really think you could stop me with methods like that? Even when I attacked you, you just defended yourself to the end, despite having half your body torn apart. Did you spare me because I’m your daughter? Or did you truly believe you could persuade me? Seriously?”
Once again, a tearing laughter erupted.
“That’s why I’m stealing dad away, you foolish woman.”
The woman jumped down from the window frame. Her stocking-clad feet touched the carpet with a thud.
“Watch how much dad and I love each other, mom. I inherited your lascivious genes perfectly. Or should I say now that you’re the one inheriting my lascivious genes?”
Her toes began to walk across the carpet. Her eyes turned back to me. The tearing laughter vanished, replaced instead by eyes dripping with sticky desire.
“Dad. Let’s do it. Okay? It’s going to feel absolutely amazing. I’ll let you feel what supreme pleasure is like. No other woman will ever touch you.”
“I’d appreciate it if you’d stop with the nonsense. I’m not a trash parent who would do something like that with my daughter.”
I gathered mana into my hand. I hadn’t exactly practiced barehanded combat, but it was better than offering no resistance at all.
“Are you seriously thinking you can beat me, dad? Or is this some kind of game? Just like you and mom always did. I can pretend to fight back just enough to end up pinned beneath you.”
She chuckled softly.
“But dad, if you want to fight, shouldn’t you prepare something other than flowers? Why on earth do you have a rose? Should I think of it as a gift for me?”
Wondering what she meant, I looked at my hand and my expression hardened. Just as she said, while I was clearly channeling mana, my right hand was inexplicably holding a single rose. The blue glow had completely vanished.
When she flicked her fingers, the rose floated into the air and flew away. She carefully caught the rose that had flown toward her and brought it to her face, smelling it with a happy expression.
“It smells lovely, dad. Thanks. I’ll cherish it.”
As the rose faded, it disappeared somewhere.
“If you receive a gift, you have to give back. I’m a good daughter, after all.”
The black-haired, black-eyed figure resembling Eclipse reached me in the blink of an eye. Before I even had a chance to throw a punch, her arm snatched my wrist.
Then she seized my other wrist and brought it to her chest. My hand seemed to be enchanted, gripping her breast unconsciously. I felt a soft and yet solid sensation against my palm.
I tried to pull my arm away, but it was futile. My hand remained motionless, silently kneading her breast.
“How is it, dad? Do you like it? I worked hard to grow it while thinking of you. Even though it’s my chest, it’s exclusively for you, so feel free to squeeze it. Forget I’m even your daughter.”
“Stop calling me dad! I’ve never had a daughter like you!”
“Are you saying we aren’t family anymore? My, I didn’t know you’d be so proactive. Okay, Delta. From now on, I won’t call you dad. Instead, you have to call me Eclipse.”
What a crazy girl.
I continued to struggle to free my hands. Still, they didn’t budge at all. To make things even more provocative, she undid a button as if the touching over her clothes was too dull.
The woman closed in closer. I collapsed onto the bed, and she climbed on top of me. Her two hands began to slowly rub my chest.
“I love you too, Delta. Let’s show mom how much we love each other…?”
Suddenly trailing off, the woman turned to the side with a look of shock. I turned my head as well.
An arm was protruding from the empty air.
The arm slowly grasped the nearby space, tearing away to widen the gap. The space cracked like glass, revealing a warped landscape beyond.
“My daughter. What on earth are you doing right now?”
From the cracked space, Eclipse emerged with a fierce expression.
“…Mom? How? I thought I had isolated the time period?!”
The woman, who had been grinding herself against me, froze. The control over her arm returned immediately. She hastily removed her hands from my chest.
The space around Eclipse continued to shatter, until finally it became large enough for a person to enter. Eclipse walked in, shredding the broken dimensional fabric like a goddess.
“Did you seriously think you could stop this mom with such basic space-time isolation techniques? You still have a lot to learn.”
And then something flashed in front of her.
It truly was a flash. Golden and silver light flickered momentarily, and soon the black-haired, black-eyed girl was bound tightly and subdued, while Eclipse began to restore the shattered space.
“Are you okay, dear?”
Having completed the restoration, Eclipse approached me. Though I still felt the sensation of her chest in my palm, I hadn’t done anything to merit that kind of question.
“I’m fine. But just now…?”
“Our cute daughter has been babbling about being a deity, yet she has no actual divine abilities to speak of. I was wondering why that was happening, only to realize we were just playing with her.”
“Is that so?”
“Yes. Even the supposed attack where she trapped me in her womb was a complete illusion from start to finish, and she still hasn’t figured that out. I guess I need to teach her for at least another thousand years.”
Sighing lightly, Eclipse gazed at the girl, ensnared in golden and silver threads. The black-haired, black-eyed girl trembled.
“Our daughter… has made a mistake, so she must be punished, right?”
Eclipse launched into a lecture on why her daughter should not look at her dad with sexual eyes, why it was wrong to ambush and try to kill her mother, and finally, why she could not put her mother in her womb to be reborn as a daughter.
All of them felt like completely reasonable things to say from a moral standpoint, so it felt oddly peculiar. I never imagined I’d hear a lecture on subjects like these in my lifetime.
What was more absurd was the fact that future Eclipse and I had raised a child reasonably well. Though I understood it logically, Eclipse felt completely overlooked in light of the fact that she loved me.
The lecture on ‘why a daughter should not love her dad’ continued for an exceptionally long time.
“Waaaaaaaaaah! Daaaaaad!”
In the end, after enduring a long lecture, the black-haired, black-eyed girl buried herself in my arms, crying. I considered pushing her away, but since Eclipse gestured that it was okay now, I gently comforted her.
During this process, it was revealed that the girl’s name was ‘Frigia.’
“My ears hurt… Hoo… do it for me, dad..”
“Hold on. If you endure, it will get better on its own.”
“Waaaaaah! You abandoned me, dad!”
Frigia buried her face deep in my embrace. Seeing her look exactly like Eclipse while behaving so childishly felt incredibly hard to adapt to.
Meanwhile, the whimpering sound had disappeared, replaced by sniffles, indicating she hadn’t fully recovered yet. Even after being scolded, did she still want to act like this?
Eclipse sat gently beside me and spoke in a tender voice.
“Our cute and lovely daughter?”
“……”
“You have to respond, Frigia.”
“……Sniff. Yes, mom.”
“You shouldn’t behave like this anymore, understood? You’ll definitely meet a good man one day.”
Instead of answering, Frigia, who had buried her face in my embrace in defiance, only opened her mouth after Eclipse coaxed her a couple more times.
“Why is it okay for you to do it with dad all the time but not me?”
“…Huh?”
But the level of her statements exceeded expectations.
“Walking around the house naked all the time with a collar and an anal toy! Kneeling and licking dad’s feet while swearing loyalty! Pleading to be treated like a sex slave on the bed! Spreading my legs and squatting down like a dog panting! Mom does that, but why can’t I?”
“Ahhhhhh! Don’t listen, dear!”
“If you’re going to clean up, do it properly! Just setting up a dimensional barrier and isolating the space doesn’t do anything! You can just rewind time and confirm everything that happened all night! I can investigate time traces now too!”
With that said, Frigia rambled on about all the relations we had carried out in the future, and ultimately, Eclipse had to scream and cover her daughter’s mouth.
It seems that Eclipse’s genes were indeed accurate.
