I really Became Langris Vaude in a version clover with reverse Libido

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: A Failed Brother

Narrator's POV

"It's really too bad that I don't get many chances to train my Ki in combat situations," thought Langris while looking at a black headband attached to the handle of his training sword.

Langris hadn't always been as authoritative and confident as he is now.

There was a time when he lived for weeks locked up in his room out of pure anxiety and fear for the future.

After all, his perspective had changed brutally.

One moment, he was asleep after a wild night with Anna, and after that, he found himself in a dangerous magical universe with a new identity.

Alex had become Langris Vaude, a mage from a noble family in the Clover Kingdom.

A country destined to face various difficulties, ranging from terrorist level to planetary level.

Fortunately for him, he managed to pull himself together thanks to his initial request before his reincarnation and his new noble status.

So, in a way, his life took a complete 180-degree turn for the better.

So, Langris put his knowledge of Black Clover to good use and began a brutal and effective training regimen.

He wasn't afraid of physical injuries thanks to his medical knowledge and the Vaude family's money. Thus, he could carry out his training without too many worries.

'I'm sure I've far surpassed the original Langris's level at this age, but my relationship with Finral is worse than in the original story,' he thinks with a bitter smile.

Because of his frightening magical achievements, Finral has been treated more harshly than in the original story.

Although he smiles friendly at Langris when he spends time with him, he can't hide his discomfort and depression from him. After all, Langris is a more mature adult than the current Finral.

*Knock knock* Once arrived in front of the family head's office, Langris politely knocked on the door.

"You may enter," a calm and familiar voice authorized him to enter.

"Sorry for the disturbance father, but I need your help," declared Langris after bowing according to etiquette.

He maintained an excellent relationship with his father in this life.

Langris never showed his disagreement with his way of seeing things, even though he didn't appreciate Finral's treatment, but what could he do?

He's just an extremely promising 10-year-old kid, and the other is a high-ranking noble.

Langris prefers to put his interests first rather than his good relationship with Finral. It's sad, but that's how it is.

"Haha, you're always so rigid," he said good-humoredly before gesturing him to come closer.

"So, what do you want to ask me?" he asked while putting away some documents.

"Why do you think I came to ask for something? Can't I just come to see my father?" replied Langris with a mood similar to his father's, Ledior Vaude.

"You rarely come here just to see your old father," he said with a hint of irony.

'I'm really going to have to make up for this,' thought Langris after noting the slightly materialistic and selfish image he was projecting to his father.

"To be honest, I wanted your help to find some... playmates," he said after some reflection.

He initially wanted to use his father to find useful commoners, but he changed his mind after this small interaction.

"You've finally decided to participate in gatherings between young nobles!!" declared Ledior Vaude in an excited tone.

'Finally, I can start looking for a suitable partner for him,' thought Ledior, smiling joyfully.

Langris slowly nodded to his father despite his inner complaints, since his training would be slowed down.

One must understand that this Black Clover universe is slightly different from the original because of Langris at the time before his reincarnation.

He had specified during the suspected survey that he wanted to reincarnate in the Black Clover universe, but with an inverse libido regarding men and women.

This had several consequences in the global culture of this universe.

For example, the dynamics of relationships between men and women have been turned upside down.

If on Earth, men often take the initiative and try to please and impress their partner to obtain their favors, things are the opposite here.

Women are the ones who try to catch men's attention.

Of course, men remain dominant in society, but the libido inversion has simply made them less inclined to physical relationships.

They are therefore more interested in emotional or sentimental relationships, unlike women who are more inclined to satisfy their impulses or desires.

This situation has created a somewhat weird world, in Langris's opinion.

But why should he complain about such a situation?

Although he made this request out of pure whim at the time, he is extremely grateful to his former self.

'If I can ever travel back in time and between dimensions, I need to buy myself a burger to thank me,' thought Langris, unable to help smiling at his own mental joke.

His father interpreted this as joy at the prospect of having friends his age.

"I'll look into the next gatherings for young nobles or just organize a banquet for your birthday if there aren't any soon," declared Ledior before gesturing him to leave.

After executing the departure etiquette, Langris finally left his father's office.

....

Langris Vaude's POV

Well... I think my objective has undergone a massive change.

I wanted to get help finding subordinates or training partners, but I ended up getting the promise to participate in a party for young nobles.

Really, a peculiar situation.

*Bam*

"Damn, another failure!" Finral's voice resonated in the tree-filled area.

It was a remote place, behind the manor. Finral usually stays here when he wants to train or be alone. So, I often come to laze around or observe him.

"The space wasn't chaotic enough to disperse the target piece by piece," I say, emerging from the shadow of a tree, after having observed his repeated failures long enough.

"You're here, Langris!" he exclaimed with a nervous smile.

"Yep," I simply replied while approaching a large tree.

I touched it with my fingertips, and under the effect of a spatial magic spell, the tree collapsed into small cubes.

With more concentration, I could probably reduce it to dust. That's the level of control I've achieved through effort.

You have to understand that, unlike Finral, I have a crazy mana reserve that I obtained through years of training.

That's why I've been focusing on control recently.

Finral nervously swallowed while looking at me. I could read various emotions on his face: fear, envy, frustration, but the most dominant was probably pride.

"You still have such... imposing abilities," he said, quickly glancing at my training sword and the black headband attached to it.

"Thanks for the compliments, but it's nothing special," I replied honestly while looking at the pile of debris.

Any experienced magic knight could counter this attack in several ways.

For example, by pushing back my spatial mana with theirs, a bit like the mana skin used in magical zones.

Moreover, in the Black Clover manga, Langris could already destroy a rock with a single attack. So, from my point of view, this nonchalant destruction of a tree isn't really impressive.

"Haha, you always say shocking things so casually," declared Finral before lying down on the ground to rest.

I could feel that he didn't have much mana left. And given his current appearance, he must have trained hard.

Unfortunately, training hard isn't always enough to bridge the gap between a genius and a hard worker.

Otherwise, Lee would have beaten Gaara or Neji long ago.

"Say, Langris... why am I a failure, and you're a monster?" Finral suddenly asked while staring at the passing clouds.

"I'm just built different," I honestly replied.
