I Possessed the Heroine’s Teacher

Chapter 61

As Werner collapsed, I lost control and started to go on a rampage. Half of my blood is vampire blood, and it’s the blood of the queen of vampires, my mother.

My eyes turned black, and my fangs grew. My strength increased beyond compare, and even wings of blood sprouted from my back. My rage was directed at Camelia and a girl named Iris, who was Werner’s disciple.

If they hadn’t come, today could have been the second-best day of my life. The first would have been my wedding day, of course. But they ruined everything by attacking. And on top of that, Werner collapsed. It was all because of that damn girl, Iris.

Just before my sword reached Iris’s neck, she sighed and quietly chanted a spell. It became a battle to see if my sword would strike her neck first or if her spell would reach me first.

But my mother controlled the blood to block Iris’s mouth, and my father blocked my sword with one arm.

“You’re so reckless because we’re playing with you. You’re just a young, inexperienced brat.”

“Don’t think that we’ll play with you like Werner did. Before I really get angry.”

Iris raised her hands in surrender. I couldn’t accept it. I couldn’t tolerate her attitude, which was causing nothing but harm to Werner’s life and then trying to get away with it.

“The leader’s daughter is quick to understand the situation. I’ll let it go this time, but not again.”

My mother seemed to like Iris’s attitude and released her from the restraint. But that was only between my mother and Iris; my conflict with them wasn’t over.

“Come here! I’ll kill you!”

Iris sighed and started looking at me with disdain.

“Why don’t you calm down a little? Guys don’t like it when you suddenly get excited like that.”

I couldn’t hold back my anger and charged at her. Normally, I could have ignored such a provocation, but the vampire blood that had started to rage wouldn’t allow it.

“Now, I’m going to shut your mouth!”

As I rushed at her, Iris didn’t take any defensive stance and just held up her hands. I didn’t understand why, and I didn’t want to understand. As I tried to slash her, a heavy blow struck my forehead.

The attack came from my mother, Melissa, the queen of vampires.

“Our princess… Do you think my words are funny?”

“Mother, get out of the way… I can’t control this power right now… I’m afraid I won’t be able to control my strength.”

“Haa… This is why young brats are a problem.”

My mother sighed and began patting my father’s back.

“It seems I’ll have to discipline you a bit more dramatically, so you go ahead with the youngest and head back to the mansion.”

“You control your strength as well. She has every reason to be excited today.”

“I know, and you, the leader’s daughter and Camelia, follow them quickly. I won’t take responsibility if you get caught up in this.”

My father carried Werner, and Iris and Camelia tried to leave, ignoring me.

“Stop!”

“Why don’t you stop, my princess?”

I ignored my mother’s words and chased after them, trying to cut off Iris’s breath, but my mother created a spear of blood and threw it at me.

I barely managed to dodge it, but I almost got impaled.

“Our princess has never been hit by her mother, so she’s lost her mind~ Is that it~?”

“Get out of the way, Mother. Before I really start fighting.”

“Oh, you’re showing off… You’re really just a young brat, my daughter.”

I had no choice but to knock my mother out with the back of my sword. I gripped my sword and charged at her, but a sharp slap struck my cheek. I was slammed into the wall, and since I hadn’t raised any guard, I tasted blood in my mouth.

“You’ve always been spoiled by your mother, haven’t you~?”

“Cough…”

“Our princess, let your mother hit you.”

I had no choice. I thought I should at least avoid the vital points and then cut off Iris’s breath.

As I charged at my mother with my sword, she placed her hand on my forehead and said,

“Daughter… Do you know what it means to be the queen of vampires?”

Then, my mother pushed me with her finger, and I was slammed into a giant statue. As I became dizzy, my mother picked me up and said,

“If there’s even a little vampire blood in your body, you can’t use your full strength against me. That’s what being the queen means. So don’t even dream of defying me.”

.

I was thirsty. I had been locked in a room for several days as punishment for defying my mother.

My mother brought me food and water at regular times, but it was still not enough.

I was swallowing my saliva and trying to endure my thirst when I heard a knock on the door, and it opened. I was a little happy, thinking my mother had brought water and food.

But the person who entered was a hundred times more welcome than that. He was definitely younger and smaller than when I first met him, but it was unmistakably Werner’s childhood self.

“Lord Werner…?”

Werner approached me with a concerned look on his face.

“Lady Glacia, are you alright…?”

To be honest, every muscle in my body was screaming. The price of raging vampire blood was heavy, and once it raged, I couldn’t move for several days due to muscle pain.

“I heard you raged your vampire blood.”

“When Werner collapsed, I lost my mind…”

My voice cracked unintentionally. It seemed that I hadn’t drunk water for too long, and my throat was parched. I felt mortified to show such a disgraceful sight in front of Werner.

“Cough… I’m sorry, my throat…”

“Haha, it seems like theyre deliberately doing this because they want you to be punished after going against your mother.”

I tried to remove the restraints, but the ones created by my mother using blood magic didn’t come off easily. Especially since my mother was the queen of vampires, her magic was particularly effective against those with vampire blood flowing in their veins, like me.

“I can’t release your restraints with my authority, but… I can at least help you quench your thirst.”

“Yes…?”

Werner closed his eyes for a moment and clasped his hands, then began chanting a spell.

“Clean water, flow into my hands.”

Then, clean water filled Werner’s small hands. His magic never ceased to amaze me.

“You even created such magic…”

“To be precise, a friend of mine developed this magic. Now, stop talking and drink it. You must be thirsty.”

The water in his small hands, not the hands that held me, was not much, but it was enough to quench my thirst. The water was sweet and warm.

“Do you want some more?”

“No… This is enough.”

After a while, Werner hesitated and then spoke.

“I’m sorry to say this suddenly, but… I think I have to go to the capital.”

“The capital? Why do you have to go there?”

As far as I remembered, Werner despised the capital. He was sick of the rotten nobles and authoritarianism there.

“… Because there’s a reason I have to go.”

I couldn’t understand. I had tried desperately to prevent him from being treated like that again. I wanted to ensure that no one would look down on him if he became my husband.

But he was voluntarily walking into the den of trash.

“What reason could make you want to return to that place?”

“I can’t tell you the details.”

“Then, how valuable is that reason… that you’re willing to leave here?”

“It’s as valuable as my life.”

If there was a reason for him to go back to the trash heap he despised…

“Then I’ll go with you.”

“Yes…?”

If it was a place he had to go, I would follow him even to hell.

“I appreciate you coming with me, but… What about the work you’re in charge of?”

“Most of the work can be handled from the capital through messengers or communication devices.”

After all, I had strived to inherit the title for Werner’s sake. Without him… the title had no meaning.

“Haha… I don’t know what to say.”

Werner suddenly kissed my forehead. I couldn’t see a mirror at the moment, but my cheeks were surely blushing.

“Then I’ll wait until the punishment period set by Melissa ends.”
