I Only Marry Widows

Chapter 121: Law Intent, Forged Soldiers, Primordial Spirit

When Lu Chengfeng returned to the room, Luo Suyi was already awake.

It seemed that having suddenly arrived in an unfamiliar environment, without the familiar presence of the person beside her, even though she was already very tired, she subconsciously woke up.

When Lu Chengfeng came back, he saw her sitting alone on the bed with her knees hugged, her hair down, occasionally gazing out the door and window, lonely and silent.

Only when Lu Chengfeng entered the door did a smile appear on her pretty face, "Husband, you're back?"

"Why are you awake?" Lu Chengfeng quickly walked forward, and as he spoke, he directly took off his outer robe and neatly got onto the bed, pulling Luo Suyi into his arms, then covered both of their bodies with a thin blanket.

"The weather on the mountain is cold, and at Yulong Mountain, it's even colder at night. If an ordinary person sleeps on the mountain for a night without care, they might freeze to death. You're not covering yourself with a blanket and wearing such thin clothes, what if you catch a cold?"

The two cuddled together, warming up instantly. Listening to his rambling, Luo Suyi looked at her man with eyes full of laughter.

"Although I don't have as much talent as you, husband, I'm not that weak. During the time you were away from the sect, I was in seclusion and training hard. I passed a critical juncture and have already cultivated inner strength."

Hearing this, Lu Chengfeng's face immediately showed a look of joy, "Really?"

Luo Suyi pressed her face against his chest, embracing her man tightly, and murmured somewhat obsessively, "Of course it's true."

Entering the White Lotus Joyful Zen is easy, but mastering it is difficult. It requires supreme determination and perseverance to overcome the calamity of the Fire of Six Desires, refining a White Lotus Pure Body that is clear and flawless.

She used her man as the anchor of her heart. As long as the roots of affection are deep and profound, she can effortlessly overcome various calamities, remaining undamaged in the Fire of Six Desires.

However, although these achievements come easily, they must eventually be repaid.

Zhu Yuxian had also warned Luo Suyi about this, but she simply didn't care and hadn't thought too much or too far ahead.

In her heart, she feared she would never be able to reach the realm Zhu Yuxian spoke of in her lifetime, so the so-called consequences naturally did not concern her.

Lu Chengfeng hugged his beloved wife, but now without the initial impulse and frenzy. The two just held each other tightly, as if their very souls were connected, recounting the events that occurred after their separation until daybreak unconsciously arrived.

Originally, Lu Chengfeng planned to accompany Luo Suyi for a stroll around Yulong Mountain, to visit the mountain scenery, then to have a meal with Qiutong, and Die'Er, enjoying the warmth of family togetherness.

However, unexpectedly, just at dawn, Du Mengyan sent someone to find him.

The entire day that followed was a whirlwind of activity. Du Mengyan had piled all the miscellaneous tasks onto him and then announced her seclusion.

Feeling utterly helpless, Lu Chengfeng was left with no choice but to take on the burden.

While other disciples found it a bit strange that Lu Chengfeng was taking charge, with Du Mengyan's orders and the support of Du Xiaoyue and Tan Xiong, any whispers behind the scenes were insignificant.

By the time Lu Chengfeng finished inventorying all the supplies, it was already dark. Most of these items were books, not martial arts secret manuals, but rather explanations of the secret manuals, focusing on martial arts theory research.

These things are the foundation of a prestigious sect. True disciples within the sect would be taught a solid martial arts theory and system, and once they developed their own sword intent, they could attempt to create personal martial arts.

Lu Chengfeng originally lacked this foundation, but after absorbing Zhao Changzhen's gifts, his martial arts theory became more solid. Later, after fully digesting Li Guan's contributions, most of his past deficiencies were made up for.

Apart from these commentaries and books, there were also methods for alchemy and swordcasting, which formed a comprehensive and rigorous training system, outlined in two extensive secret tomes.

One set, named "Five Qi Cave Divine Sublime Scripture," comprised 1,236 volumes, focusing on methods of alchemy and medicine refinement.

The other set, named "Water and Fire Refining Thousand Forging Technique," included 748 volumes, detailing smithing and swordcasting techniques.

Together with related commentaries, these secret tomes filled five carts, stacked like small mountains.

From the items transported from the Yuncang Sword Sect, these formed over 80% of the volume.

In addition to these tomes and books, the sect sent three alchemy masters, three swordsmiths, and one transmission elder.

Many things cannot be learned directly from books, as they contain numerous coded languages and terms understandable only to experts, with specific attention to martial practice in their implementation.

The sect's decision to send these personnel shows it's serious about establishing a branch, willing to share the heritage of an ancient prominent sect.

In contrast, precious pills, weapons, and martial arts secret manuals occupied only one box.

After inventorying everything, Lu Chengfeng couldn't help but be astonished at the sect's generosity. Among the items was the Primordial Five Elements Pill he painstakingly obtained from Zhu Yuxian, and there were nine bottles of them in the box, with each bottle containing ten pills.

Second only to Divine Weapons, there are a total of seven top-grade famous artifacts: Jade Tiger Sword, Cyan Flood Dragon Sword, Dragon Roar Sword, Purple Light Sword, Cloud Light Sword, Moon Frost Sword, and Tingchao Sword.

Aside from these, the five great skills of the Five Peaks— "Yimu Heaven-Reaching Sword Scripture", "Yellow Dragon Hidden Sword True Technique", "Profound Crane Thousand Shadows Ghostly Sword Technique", "White Tiger Ice Lying True Technique", and "Lihuo Shenxiao Sword Scripture"— are all inscribed on gold leaf, compiled into five golden books, all sent over.

Besides the Great Five Elements Extinction Divine Light Sword, and other martial arts deduced by ancestors over generations, it can be said that the most core inheritance of the sect has been sent over.

Of course, throughout the millennium-long Yuncang Sword Sect, there have been extraordinary talents who have forged their own paths, creating new methods not inferior to the five great skills.

The martial arts and related annotations are numerous, impossible to transport all at once.

Lu Chengfeng, after looking over these things one by one, truly sighed, who could have thought that the millennium legacy of Yuncang would be driven to this point.

However, these things cannot be used casually by him; according to the instructions of the sect, next, Lu Chengfeng, Du Mengyan, the Transmission Elder Yun Mo from Yellow Dragon Peak, master swordsmith Li Jiuchong, and master alchemist Elder Wen will collectively form the foundation and basic structure of the sect.

The activation and use of these things require a decision from the five to prevent anyone from stealing them for personal gain.

What Lu Chengfeng is most interested in is not those pills, swords, martial arts manuals, and other resources, but the "Water-Fire Refining Divine Forging Technique".

The birth of each Celestial Human represents the addition of a Divine Weapon to the world, accumulated over countless ages, Divine Weapons are not few; they are mostly hidden by various powers.

After fully digesting the gifts from the Zhao Family Ancestor, Lu Chengfeng is no longer in the dark about how to break through to Celestial Human.

The so-called Half-step Celestial Human is someone who has practiced a divine skill.

To be more detailed, it means having cultivated a martial art to the Twenty-Eighth Layer.

But all Half-step Celestial Humans have stopped here, not having refined the divine skill to the Eighteen Layers of Perfection, including figures like the Zhao Family Ancestor and Zhu Yuxian.

Half-step Celestial Human, having crossed a crucial step, it means unifying the Law of Heaven and Earth comprehended from the divine skill with the Spiritual Will, transforming it into Law Intent.

The True Intent of the Martial Path, transformed into Law Intent, marks the beginning of Unity of Heaven and Man.

After refining Law Intent, one can mobilize the Power of Heaven and Earth that resonates with the Law Intent, unleashing power far beyond that of ordinary people, some call it the trait of Celestial Humans.

But to achieve Celestial Human, relying solely on Law Intent is not enough, an object is needed to bear the Law Intent, connecting Heaven and Earth.

This object must perfectly resonate with one's Law Intent, contain the law of Heaven and Earth, able to bridge Heaven and Earth, with extremely stringent requirements.

This so-called bearing object is the Divine Weapon, or Lifebound Divine Weapon.

The material used for Divine Weapons is often special treasure containing the law of Heaven and Earth, refined repeatedly, infused with the owner's essence blood, True Qi, and even Law Intent.

Then the Half-Step Celestial Human entrusts their Law Intent to this weapon, uniting with the world, undergoing the baptism of Heaven and Earth, with the blade intact, the Law Intent unharmed, only then can it be called Lifebound.

This is the second step of Celestial Human, Forging Weapons.

What a Half-Step Celestial Human needs to do next is gradually rid of reliance on the blade, one day without needing its bearing, Essence, Qi, and Spirit condense into one, under the protection of Law Intent, bathed in heavenly light, undergoing baptism, transforming into Primordial Spirit.

This is the third step of Celestial Human, Primordial Spirit.

Thus, once Primordial Spirit is accomplished, one's lifespan can be extended by two Jiazi, with Primordial Spirit one perceives the Heavenly Dao, no longer mundane, known as Celestial Human, or True Man.

When Celestial Human is achieved, the weapon bearing the Law Intent can also undergo heavenly creation baptism, birthing Divine Pattern, becoming a Divine Weapon.

Hence, the three steps of Celestial Human: condense Law Intent, forge a Divine Weapon, refine Primordial Spirit, as long as one crosses them, can achieve Celestial Human, accompanied by the birth of a Divine Weapon.

After Lu Chengfeng digested the gifts of the Zhao Family Ancestor, he wasn't far from the first step of condensing Law Intent, preparing for the next step of forging a Divine Weapon.

Though there are those who have their Lifebound Divine Weapon's embryo crafted by a skilled casting master, then nurture, polish it with their own Essence, Qi, and Spirit, completing the final step.

But if one can forge by oneself, naturally that's the best, as only oneself knows precisely what kind of Divine Weapon is needed, grasping the details better.

The "Water-Fire Refining Divine Forging Technique" from the thousand-year legacy of Yuncang Sword Sect has been polished and perfected by countless ancestors, already nearly flawless, ancestors have forged more than one Divine Weapon using it.

The Profound Sun Divine Sword in Du Xiaoyue's hand was forged using this Dharma Method, a Divine Weapon once crafted by the previous First Seat of Cyan Cloud Peak, master of Profound Sun Taoist, though that Celestial Human has passed away.

Once Lu Chengfeng learned that a casting master had arrived in the sect, he couldn't resist having a crooked thought, "If I could receive a gift from a Master of Casting, then the hurdle of forging weapons would be much easier to pass."
