I Made Up Forbidden Spells, and They Actually Worked?

Chapter 257: The Dark Ones

"Dean," Pluton Hawthorne said, "it seems they belong to an organization called the Dark Ones. This is related to the previous Black Hole Organization."

"What kind of relationship?"

Dean Bruce frowned and asked, a sense of unease rising within him.

Pluton Hawthorne shook his head. "I'm not entirely sure. I only heard some upperclassmen mention that the Dark Ones appear to have intricate connections with the Black Hole Organization. They operate in secrecy and employ brutal tactics, posing a significant threat to the magical community."

Upon hearing this, Dean Bruce felt even heavier in his heart. He realized that this situation was likely more complicated than it seemed. The Dark Ones, daring to target the Magic Academy, indicated that they had sufficient power and audacity.

"We must uncover the truth as soon as possible, locate the Dark Ones' stronghold, and take them down all at once," Dean Bruce said solemnly.

Pluton Hawthorne nodded. "Right, Professor. What should we do?"

Dean Bruce pondered for a moment before responding, "First, we need to strengthen the academy's defenses to prevent the Dark Ones from attacking again. Second, we should send out reconnaissance teams to investigate the Dark Ones' movements and whereabouts. Finally, we need to unite with other magical factions to collectively combat the Dark Ones."

Upon hearing this, a spark of determination flashed in Pluton Hawthorne's eyes. "Professor, you can count on me. I will do everything I can to support you."

Dean Bruce patted Pluton Hawthorne on the shoulder. "Good, then we'll split up. You organize the students to enhance defenses, and I'll reach out to other magical factions to gain their support."

Pluton Hawthorne acknowledged and turned to leave, while Dean Bruce took out a communication crystal to start contacting the leaders of other magical factions.
Your adventure continues at empire

After some effort, Dean Bruce finally managed to get in touch with several powerful magic faction leaders. They all expressed their willingness to support Dean Bruce in the fight against the Dark Ones.

With the backing of these magical factions, Dean Bruce felt a bit more confident. He knew that this battle would be exceptionally difficult, but as long as everyone stood united, they could surely overcome the Dark Ones.

However, just as he was preparing to further formulate a plan, a mysterious figure suddenly appeared before him. The person was cloaked in black robes, wearing a mask that obscured their face.

"Who are you?" Dean Bruce asked warily.

The mysterious figure did not answer his question but slowly removed the mask, revealing a familiar face—it was Morgana, the one Dean Bruce had previously sealed away!

"Dean Bruce, we meet again," Morgana sneered. "Did you really think you could seal me away forever? How naive."

Dean Bruce furrowed his brow. "How could you possibly escape from the seal?"

Morgana smiled smugly. "Did you really think your seal could contain me? I am the messenger of the Lord of Darkness, possessing endless power. Your seal is merely a temporary nuisance to me."

Dean Bruce felt a chill run down his spine. He hadn't anticipated that Morgana was this powerful, strong enough to break free from his seal.

"Are you here to attack the Magic Academy again?" Dean Bruce asked in a serious tone.

Morgana shook her head. "No, I'm here to give you an opportunity."

"What kind of opportunity?" Dean Bruce asked, puzzled.

Morgana smiled as she said, "Join our Dark Ones organization and become one of us. If you agree to join, I will spare the Magic Academy and even teach you more powerful dark magic."

At her words, a surge of anger rose within Dean Bruce. "You must be dreaming! I will never join your evil organization!"

Morgana let out a cold laugh. "You're refusing a kind invitation. If you are so ungrateful, then don't blame me for being ruthless."

With that, she waved her wand, and a powerful wave of dark energy surged toward Dean Bruce. Seeing this, Dean Bruce immediately countered with his own wand. However, Morgana's strength was overwhelming, and his defenses were quickly shattered.

"Professor!" Just then, Pluton Hawthorne and others rushed in upon hearing the commotion. Seeing Dean Bruce in danger, they charged forward.

"Don't come any closer!" Dean Bruce shouted. "This woman is incredibly powerful; you are no match for her!"

However, Pluton Hawthorne and the others did not back down. They unleashed their own spells and engaged in a fierce battle with Morgana. Although their strength paled in comparison to hers, their courage and determination surprised Morgana.

"Hmph, a bunch of ignorant fools," Morgana scoffed, increasing her magical output and instantly sending Pluton Hawthorne and the others flying.

Seeing this, Dean Bruce felt a wave of panic. He knew he had to quickly devise a plan to deal with Morgana; otherwise, the consequences would be dire.

At that moment, he suddenly remembered the magical simulation feature that the system had given him before. Although he had only used this feature once, he knew this might be his only chance.

"System, activate the magical simulation feature!" Dean Bruce silently commanded.

The system responded immediately, "Magical simulation feature activated. Please provide the relevant information about the target magic."

Dean Bruce did not hesitate and quickly input the information about Morgana's dark magic into the system. The system began to rapidly simulate, and soon provided a solution.

"Host, here is the spell and movements to counter Morgana's dark magic," the system said. "Please execute it as soon as possible."

Upon hearing this, Dean Bruce felt a surge of hope. He immediately followed the system's instructions, began to chant the spell, and performed the corresponding movements. As he recited the spell and executed the actions, a powerful light energy surged within him.

"Light's Judgment!" Dean Bruce shouted, and a dazzling beam of light shot from his hand, heading straight for Morgana.

Morgana's expression changed dramatically upon seeing this. She hadn't expected Dean Bruce to break her dark magic and unleash such a powerful light spell.

"Impossible!" Morgana exclaimed. "How could you possibly break my magic?"

Dean Bruce did not answer her question. He coldly stated, "Evil can never triumph over justice. You are destined to fail today!"

As he spoke, the beam of light was already upon Morgana. She put forth all her strength to resist, but ultimately was struck by the light and sent flying.

"Professor Dean, you did it!" Pluton Hawthorne and the others cheered as they witnessed the event.

However, Dean Bruce felt no joy. He knew that this was merely a temporary setback for Morgana; the threat of the Dark Ones had not been fully eliminated. He needed to continue working hard to strengthen his abilities to better protect the Magic Academy and the world.

"Everyone, don't celebrate too early," Dean Bruce said in a serious tone. "The Dark Ones have not been completely eradicated. We must continue to strengthen our defenses and reconnaissance efforts."

Pluton Hawthorne and the others nodded in agreement. They understood that this battle was far from over and that they needed to remain vigilant and prepared at all times.

Although Morgana had been sent flying, she was not severely injured. Looking at Dean Bruce's resolute gaze, she felt a surge of resentment and anger.

"Dean Bruce, just you wait!" Morgana gritted her teeth and said, "I will return for revenge sooner or later!"

With that, she transformed into a shadow and vanished into the night sky. Dean Bruce watched the direction in which she had disappeared, quietly contemplating his next plan...

After Morgana's surprise attack, Dean Bruce understood that the threat posed by the Dark Ones had not been eliminated, and they needed to take action quickly. He summoned all available forces, including the academy's teachers, students, and representatives from magical factions willing to assist, to discuss strategies together.

"We must locate the Dark Ones' secret base. Only by destroying it can we completely eliminate this threat," Dean Bruce declared firmly at the meeting.

Pluton Hawthorne raised his hand to speak, "Sir, I've heard that the Dark Ones' secret base is hidden in a remote valley filled with complex magical traps and guards."

Alice added, "Moreover, it is said that the valley is protected by a powerful barrier that ordinary people cannot approach."

Dean Bruce nodded, recognizing the importance of this information. "We need a detailed plan. We must not only breach the barrier but also deal with the various traps and guards within the base."

At that moment, a magician from the Herbert family stood up. "Our family specializes in breaking barriers and traps; perhaps we could assist you."

Dean Bruce looked at him gratefully. "That's excellent. With your help, our chances of success will increase significantly."

After intense discussion and planning, they finally devised a detailed action plan. Dean Bruce decided to personally lead an elite team to infiltrate the Dark Ones' secret base.

On the day of action, Dean Bruce, along with Pluton Hawthorne, Alice, Delina Reba, and several magicians from the Herbert family, quietly approached the remote valley. They carefully avoided the Dark Ones' patrols and arrived at the barrier.

Magicians from the Herbert family began to cast their spells in an attempt to break the barrier. After some effort, a crack finally appeared in the barrier. Seizing the opportunity, Dean Bruce waved his wand, and a brilliant beam of light shot out, widening the crack and ultimately breaking through the barrier.

"Everyone, be careful. We're going in," Dean Bruce whispered as he led the team quietly into the valley.

Inside the valley, there were complex magical traps everywhere, and even a small mistake could trigger them. Fortunately, with the experienced magicians from the Herbert family, they skillfully avoided each trap one by one.
