Chapter 558: Ed and Hope vs Hansel
Irus caught Malice before she could fall to the ground. He was thinking that Bruno worn her off because she was sleeping heavily even when Irus gripped her. "My dear, you have so many wounds and cuts. I didn't get to cut you."
Irus watched Bruno was smirking at him. "Why are you looking at me like that, Behemoth?"
"Elliot!" Irus yelled. "You guys, kill him."
Elliot gripped his sword and nodded. "Lance. We are right behind you in this fight."
"I know you are," Lance smirked. "You're always been."
Meanwhile, Hope was leaping around to try and avoid Hansel's attacks. The man was firing spheres of energy in different directions and Hope's powers have been deactivated by Hansel.
"This is nuts. How come this guy has the same magic as you?" Hope asked. "Anti-magic is rare enough that we don't know that anyone else have it. Now, we see one? And right in Hell?"
"It sounds crazy, but it's true," Ed said. "Keep distracting him. I'm still trying to figure out a way to counter his powers."
"Countering anti-magic with anti-magic, huh?" Hope chuckled. "That's fine."
Hope gripped his sword and growled. "Draconic Morph!"
His body glowed with a dark grey color with a pale light. His body shifted into his draconic form that was a humanoid dragon. His body was covered with thick scales and a thick sheet of aura while his weapons also morphed into a giant sword and a shield.
"Negate." Hansel cast his skill at Hope, but he failed. Hope smirked and shook his head. "That's not a skill, huh?"
"Nope," Hope replied. "More like, flexing my muscles. Connor can do it too and he's already more terrifying than me without morphing, so your Bruno can say goodbye."
"I don't need to worry about His Power, Sariel." Hansel unwinded his whip and gripled the middle part where the handle was located. It was a double ended whip and the first one that Hope had seen. "His Power's skills already went beyond any human. He's not going to be defeated."
"Well, Lance and Elliot are fighting with Connor, so I guess he's going to be in a very difficult situation," Hope giggled. "Good luck to him."
Hansel spun his whip without saying anything more. A spinning disc formed over his head and he spun the disc around him before dashing towards Hope. The latter grilled his weapons and slammed his shield on the ground.
"Great Dragon Wall!" Hope yelled, summoning a giant shield in front of him. The shield was created of aura that had shapes of dragon scales, forming a large curved wall that covered Hope, and only leaving his back open.
"You're too open," Hansel said and disappeared. He appeared behind Hope with the disc on his hand. He thrust the disc forward, but Hope only smiled and let his shield go. He slashed his sword behind him, blocking the disc that was Hansel's attack. "Interesting."
Hope swiped his sword to the side, causing Hansel to lose the momentum on his whip. The disc lost its shape and Hope gained the upper hand. "I think you're underestimating me."
Hansel did no react. He let Hope raise his sword and launch his attack, but it was only for a moment. Hope suddenly felt his body shift and a scream rang in his ear.
"Hey!"
Ed yelled under a barrier that he created. Hope suddenly felt himself realize the truth and now he back in reality. "What was that?"
Ed pushed Hope's sword using his anti-magic covered hands. He sighed and shook his head.
"Hyperhypnosis and hyperwarping," Ed said. "Now I get his power. It's two very dangerous powers that can almost alter reality, seemingly creating anti-magic with their combination."
"Hypnosis and warp, huh?" Hope smirked. "I see. So he just warps reality and hypnotizes his enemies. That doesn't sound too bad."
"It doesn't," Ed chuckled. "Don't get too hyped. It's not a fun fight, but it's not bad either."
"It's just so-so," Hope said. "Should we bring in the big guns?"
"Not yet," Ed said. "Let's let him decide for us."
Hansel was not scared about his powers being revealed. His face was stoic as he formed his disc again, spinning his whip and launching himself for an attack.
"You're too open to fight," Hansel said. "I see several weak points and I'm not scared of taking them."
Ed laughed. He summoned his armor and wrapped his sword with his powers. "I don't think you understand your position here, Hansel."
Hope slashed forward, making Hansel dodge his attack by jumping and pivoting to the side. When he landed on the ground, Ed appeared behind him. "Gotcha!"
Ed thrust his sword and tried to hit Hansel, but he ended up hitting Hope instead. They were lucky that Hope had agile movements that he was able to block his attack. Hansel switched their positions again.
"Ugh, this is terrible," Ed said. "If I used my actual powers, I could have killed you."
"Don't stretch it," Hope rolled his eyes. "You're attack wasn't so great to begin with. It was just a sword thrust. Nothing I can't handle."
"True," Ed shrugged. "I think it's time to be a little more serious. This guy can switch our places and he can send our skills away. If we're not careful, he could use our skills against us."
"Then we just have to get stronger as we go!" Hope tapped his sword on his shield. "I am your shield. Use me!"
"Right," Ed nodded. He spun and planted his feet on the ground as he summoned an armored knight out of his aura. "Knight of the Fallen!"
"What a magic," Hansel said in awe, watching the knight roar. "Shame it went to you and not to a worthier person."
Hansel dashed forward, slashing his disc and was trying to defeat the knight. Ed was curious as to what was Hansel doing. He held the power to the knight, so he should be the one that Hansel was attacking.
"What's going on?" Hope asked. He wanted to go after Hansel, but he doesn't know if he should. It might be trap. "What is he doing?"
"Doesn't matter," Ed said, forming a stance and trying to fight Hansel using his knight. "We just have to defeat him and then we'll help everyone else."
The Knight was made out of Ed's magic and it was ten times the size of his armor. The knight stood tall, and it was visible from the capital of Hell, causing the people to worry. The fight had been going on for several minutes and it worried the Demons in the city.
"What's going on?"
"Was there a fight? I felt something right over there earlier."
"I heard the castle was attacked. I hope the queen is alright."
…
As the people gossipped about the fight, a woman stood at the balcony of her window. Her hair was black with small curls and her skin was pale and beautiful like porcelain. She watched the fight and held her clasped hands over her chest.
"I hope you're okay..."
She hummed and gripped her hands together. Tears flew from her eyes as she watched the person from afar. Her vision was clear from where she stood, even when it was about two miles away. She could clearly see the figure of the
person she was praying the safety of.
"Elliot."
