Chapter 502: Why Do You Have This Skill?
"Holy Crow!" Mammon yelled. He leaped towards the old man and pulled his collar. "Why do you have this kind of magic? White magic that is darker than the darkest darkness. How can you have this kind of magic?"
"I-It's from a woman," the Holy Crow said. "I didn't get to see her face or know her name, but she gave it to me. She said that I could make use of it."
"I won't give this back," Mammon said. "I'll be taking this magic. This is not safe."
He let go of the Holy Crow and sighed. "Have you used this before?"
"No," the Holy Crow shook his head gently. "I'm afraid of using it. I even tried to forget I have the power."
"Good," Irus said. He came in between Mammon and the old church leader, seperating them. "I'm sorry. Mammon acted like that because this kind of magic isn't from Terra. This is from another realm."
"Heaven," Frask grunted. He was caught by Leviathan and his entire body was now chained except for his face. "That power is the enemy of the Abyss and all its levels. I don't know if you can feel it, but even these fearless Deathly Sin and Princes are scared of it."
"Shut up," Leviathan growled. He tightened the chains, causing Frask to yelp and then laugh.
"What?" Frask grinned. "Am I wrong? Even I who hd received great powers, is afraid of what those Angels can do. But that was before."
"Enough," Mammon threatened. "Let's not discuss things further. That's done."
"It's not," Frask argued. "Heaven can't do anything about us. If they could, they would've done it a long time ago."
"The power of the Paragon has given him extra courage," Irus laughed. "Admirable, but completely stupid. The only reason why Heaven isn't annihilating other realms is because the Almighty is sitting with them."
Frask froze. "What?"
"In Heaven, there is a giant castle and a giant throne. The one who sits in that throne is the Almighty, the strogest being in all realms," Irus said. "He doesn't want Heaven to wage war among all of us because He knows that they are more than capable of destroying the rest of the realms all at once."
"But Malice told us that she had fought the Angels," Frask whispered. "You mean, she lied to us?"
"To make her look good, yes," Irus nodded. "But there hasn't been any sighting of Angels in a different realm since the start of time. Their existence is solely separate to the rest of us."
"So, you mean the Holy Crow met an Angel?" Clan asked. "How come this happened?"
"I don't know how an Angel escaped the eyes of the Almighty, but I'm sure they can't escape Heaven that easily," Irus replied. "That Angel must be powerful to fool the Almighty or foolish to escape Heaven."
"Total Erasure is just one of the skills that Heaven have," Mammon sighed. "Imagine if they have, say ten more. If they use even half of that in a fight, no one in this realm can survive."
"But which one holds the most power," Leonardo wondered. "The Angels or an Absolute."
"An Absolute is called like that because they have the highes power," Irus replied. "Even Angels would have a hard time fighting them, but if there was an army of Angels, an Absolute would have a hard time dealing with them."
"Let's not make the Angels as our current problem," Leviathan said. "Let's focus on stopping Death from taking the power of the Palaces. If he manages to get more, it will only get harder for us to defeat him."
"Right," the Terrans agreed with the Holy Crow asking. "What do we do with this man now?"
"Lock him up," Irus said. He created a giant prism made of pure darkness and locked Frask inside. They were going to interrogate him after Irus could once again open the portal to his realm.
They were once again having a hard time communicating with them. Irus tried to contact Allen numerous times while the latter was inside the realm, but he failed. He was now worried. His access to his own world was restricted.
"Who could do such thing?" Mammon asked. "Unless…"
"That can't be," Irus whispered. "Since the Vassals have the power of the Paragons, they're almost as strong as Malice."
They opened the prism and pulled Frask outside. He was now grinning after he saw the worried expressions the demons bear in their faces. "What now?"
"What happened to my realm?" Irus growled. He pulled the chain that was right by Frask's neck and pulle him up. "Who attacked them?"
"I don't know," Frask laughed. "Maybe four Vassals and a small army of Paragons. But don't worry. Judging by how resilient those Terrans are, I'm sure they won't die that easily."
Irus effortlessly threw Frask back into the prism. He walked to a large empty field and created runes on the ground as well as connecting magic circles. He sat in the middle, cross legged as he closed his eyes tight.
"What is he doing?" Clan asked.
"Trying to reestablish his connection with his world," Mammon replied. "A Vassal must've cut it or blocked it, now Irus is trying to form that connection again."
"But can he do it?" Leonardo was the one who asked this time. "You said the Vassals got the powers of Paragons. They must've had high level magic and very large amount of mana."
"It's Irus we're talking about," Mammon chuckled. "He's the strongest among us. I bet he can do it."

Boom!
"Flamming Barrage," Frederick fired his flames right on a giant stone golem. A woman stood on top of the golem, laughing as her puppet spread fear and destruction over the realm of Irus.
Frederick's flames only pushed the golem back lightly, but it barely do anything to it. "This is helpless. She's too strong."
"Meet me, Avery," the woman grinned. "I am one of Malice's newly appointed Vassals. I, along with my friends will kill every single one of you."
"What will we do, Freddie?" Luck asked. "She's too strong."
Frederick sighed. "We fight. There's nothing else we can do."
