The Dark Lord was astonished at how powerful Lukas was and the myriads of abilities he had.
It was especially so for those pillars of lightning.
Glancing over at Olivia, the Dark Lord could see that her movements were still under the effect of the pillars of lightning.
Slow like she was in a stop-motion movie.
Clank.
The Dark Lord pulled out the plasma katanas from his chest and threw them onto the ground.
However, before the Dark Lord could make his move, Lukas didn't give him any respite and punched at him with his fists.
Boom.
As Lukas's fist broke through the air, it gave out a loud thundering boom.
A huge airwave shot out at the Dark Lord.
The Dark Lord knew what it could do, and he dodged to the side.
Slice.
As the Dark Lord was in the air, the plasma katanas moved on their own and came at his neck.
The plasma katanas were wielded by Lukas using his Shadow Wielder ability.
They came at the Dark Lord too suddenly, and the Dark Lord couldn't react in time, giving the Dark Lord no choice but to raise his arms to stop them.
Thud.
The blades of the plasma katanas went halfway into the bones of his arms and stopped.
The Dark Lord's body was stronger than other awakened.
Blood flowed down onto the ground and the Dark Lord stared at Lukas.
"Join me. Your powers are more useful in fighting with what's coming," he said as the dark glow engulfing his body increased.
"The Leader just wants to play ruler. Not willing to sacrifice to be prepared for them."
The Dark Lord said and raised his hands into the air.
"Who are they?" Lukas asked, ready to get into his ether realm at any moment.
Seeing that Lukas asked, the Dark Lord tried to persuade Lukas, "They are the Elders of the demonic beasts, Transcendent Tiered demonic beasts.
"The Leader knows and yet he doesn't want to believe that they would be here soon.
"Join me so that we can become stronger using any means to fight them."
"How would I know you are telling the truth?" Lukas asked.
The Dark Lord reached into his dark robe and flung something at Lukas.
It dropped in front of him.
Lukas looked down and he knew what it was immediately.
The same photo he saw in the Leader's house.
A face now became recognizable.
It was the Dark Lord, standing right next to the Leader with his hand over the Leader's shoulder.
"You were one of them?" Lukas asked, trying to get more information about the Leader and what happened to the tour group years ago.
He was surprised to hear that the Leader was keeping something from everyone.
The Leader's voice came up in his mind.
We all have secrets.
Now he knew what the Leader meant by that.
The Dark Lord narrowed his eyes and was impressed that Lukas knew more than others.
He had to get him on his side, the Dark Lord thought.
"I will tell you more if only you join me."
Lukas shook his head and said, "I will fight them with my own ways."
Talk was useless now that he had gotten to know what he could and it was time to end it.
Boom!
Lukas stepped on the ground and lunged at the Dark Lord, causing the ground to crack, leaving a small crater behind from his force.
He came near to the Dark Lord, and he kicked at the blades of the plasma katanas.
Thud.
He was too quick for the Dark Lord and his kick landed, making the plasma katanas go deeper into the Dark Lord's arms.
The impact also made the Dark Lord stumble a few steps to the back.
To prevent Lukas from coming near again, the Dark Lord gave out a frontal kick.
It missed as Lukas had leaped to the side, ready to throw out his punch at the Dark Lord.
The Dark Lord gave out a roar and the dark glow engulfing his body started to extend out towards the surroundings.
It got further out in all directions and darted at Lukas.
Boom.
The dark glow hit onto the ground and missed.
Lukas was nowhere to be seen.
He had activated his Ether Realm ability and got into his ether realm.
The Dark Lord scanned the surroundings and saw no trace of Lukas.
A sinking thought came into his mind.
Lukas was in fact stronger than he was.
He wasn't sure whether his dark glow catching onto Lukas and ripping out his ability would be enough.
Lukas seemed to have so many abilities.
Boom.
He felt a gust of wind coming from behind and the Dark Lord quickly ducked to the side.
Lukas had appeared and threw a punch at the Dark Lord.
The airwave shot out and caught the Dark Lord on his shoulder.
Blood dripped onto the ground as the Dark Lord tried to get the plasma katanas out from his arms.
Lukas wasn't about to let him do so.
He activated his Gravity ability onto the Dark Lord next.
The Dark Lord's arms dropped with the sudden increase in weight due to the gravity.
Lukas's shadow then grabbed onto the Dark Lord's shadows of his limbs.
The Dark Lord felt the grip, and he struggled, trying to break free from the shadow's grip.
Lukas was about to deal out his final blow when his Darkmatter Vault armor hardened.
Thud.
Giuseppe's invisible blades tried to slice Lukas into pieces.
However, the toughness of Lukas's new Darkmatter Vault armor withstood the blow.
"Best that we bail," Giuseppe, who had come to the rescue of the Dark Lord, said.
The Dark Lord glanced over at Olivia, who was trying to defend herself desperately from Riley and the others.
He knew that the situation wasn't in his favor anymore and he nodded.
The air swirled around Giuseppe and a tornado formed.
It got bigger, increased in size and came at Lukas.
Everything that came into its path was sliced into pieces mercilessly.
To Giuseppe's surprise, Lukas lunged at the tornado.
