"Then you can spare your father."

Ye Guan was speechless.

Gu Pan turned his gaze toward the end of the starry skies, and his face grew cold.

Ye Guan got curious. "Brother Gu, why did Mi Fo..."

"Back then, in pursuit of the Dharma Great Dao, he abandoned my mother. She raised me on her own. But she died young after toiling for years. A man like him is unworthy of being a husband or a father."

Ye Guan fell silent. If what Gu Pan said was really true, then what Mi Fo had done was unforgivable.

Upon arriving, the two headed straight for the Mi Clan.

The Mi Clan was hidden deep in the mountains. It was remote and desolate, far from any human settlements. It was a modest temple atop a solitary mountain.

When Ye Guan and Gu Pan arrived, a bell sounded from within the temple.

Gu Pan sneered coldly, saying, "Ringing the bell for your own funeral?"

With that, he suddenly thrust his right hand forward.

A giant hand burst from the sky above the temple and grabbed at it, ready to crush it into dust.

"Amitabha!" A Buddhist chant echoed from within the temple. A Buddha seal shot into the sky and collided with the giant hand.

The giant hand shattered and scattered into countless fragments.

Ye Guan narrowed his eyes. The opponent was indeed a Divine Realm cultivator, and not an ordinary one at that.

Just then, a monk in robes slowly walked out of the temple. It was Mi Fo!

Gu Pan locked eyes with him as a twisted grin spread across his face. "Old bald monkey, today is the day you die!"

With that, his body began to blur.

Starry Rulebreaker!

Now that his true body had fully integrated with the universe itself, the Starry Rulebreaker's power became unimaginably terrifying.

As countless stars emerged, a crushing stellar energy surged towards the mountain range, as if doomsday had arrived.

Mi Fo calmly looked up at the looming stellar energy. He clasped his hands and began chanting an ancient Buddhist scripture. Soon, golden Buddhist light surged around him and shot into the sky. Instantly, it pierced the stellar energy, causing it to scatter.

"Well done!" Gu Pan's voice echoed from the void. A gigantic hand of starlight formed from deep in the firmament and smashed down from the sky, obliterating the golden Buddhist light with overwhelming force.

Ye Guan's expression turned grim. The current strength of Brother Gu was simply not something an ordinary Divine Realm cultivator could contend with.

"Amitabha!" Mi Fo's voice rang out again. A golden Buddha image that was tens of thousands of metres tall formed behind him. The statue raised its right hand and swung it toward the giant hand of starlight.

Bam!

When the two giant hands clashed, the entire sky turned into a sea of starlight and golden light. Waves of terrifying power swept across the world, devastating the vast expanse.

In the distance, Ye Guan resisted the shockwaves with his Invincible Sword Intent. His eyes were fixed on the battlefield, where the two continued fighting.

"Buddha's Illumination!" A booming chant resounded from the deepest part of the area, as millions of beams of Buddha light erupted, obliterating all surrounding forces. It even reduced stellar energy into dust.

Gu Pan was blasted tens of thousands of meters away.

Ye Guan's face darkened. Mi Fo's Buddha's Illumination move had shattered all of Gu Pan's stellar energy.

Gu Pan finally stopped. He looked up at Mi Fo in the distance. Behind him, the enormous Buddha statue closed its eyes, radiating solemnity and holy Buddha light as ancient Dharma chants filled the air. Dharma energy pervaded the heavens and earth, filling the space endlessly.

However, Gu Pan only laughed. "Good! Keep it coming!"

Then, he stomped down and vanished.

Swoosh!

A beam of stellar light shot toward Mi Fo.

Mi Fo calmly raised his right hand and pressed down. The Buddha statue mirrored the motion.

Boom!

The immense Buddhist light halted Gu Pan and locked him into place with a tide of dharma energy.

From afar, Ye Guan furrowed his brows. He hadn't expected Mi Fo to be this strong.

Mi Fo looked at Gu Pan, who was now trapped in a sealed spacetime. Gu Pan, unwilling to give in, clasped his hands tightly and summoned torrents of stellar energy from within his body. Outside, large amounts of stellar energy flooded in like a tide, trying to break the Buddha statue. But no matter how much stellar energy surged around it, the statue stood unmoved like a mountain.

Zong Xin spoke,"He's in trouble this time. This monk has cultivated the Glass Buddha Body. He is simply unshakable."

Ye Guan frowned."Glass Buddha Body?"

"It means he has created his own Buddhist Dao. He's essentially a Fate God," Zong Xin explained.

Ye Guan looked ahead. The monk continued chanting, and the statue's golden light slowly turned to a translucent glassy hue. It felt more solemn, more sacred, and seemingly inviolable.

Zong Xin added, "There's someone else in that temple who is even stronger than Mi Fo."

Ye Guan was stunned. He turned toward the temple, and sure enough, he sensed an incredibly faint yet terrifying presence.

Gu Pan roared. He clenched his hands tightly, gathering all the stellar energy in his body. He broke through the seal and struck the giant Buddha statue with a full-force punch.

The Glass Buddha statue didn't retaliate. It let the punch land on it.

The Buddhist light rippled, but the statue did not budge.

Instead, Gu Pan was blown back tens of thousands of meters again!

A complex light flashed in Ye Guan's eyes.

Brother Gu simply was no match for Mi Fo.

Gu Pan slowly looked up; he was being suppressed. With a grimace, his fleshly body and soul ignited, and he charged at the monk again.

Mi Fo gently waved his hand. The Glass Buddha statue vanished, and all the dharma energy in the world disappeared at the same time.
