I screamed loudly.

While crying, I ran away from the cave that was now filled with darkness and blood. As I ran, I glanced back. I saw Dad fighting and Mom lying on the ground, looking at me with a smile.

They were trying to give me time to escape, but I knew, in my heart that was torn, that I would never see them again. With their last strength, they tried to protect me, and in an instant, everything became silent.

I ran while crying and frustrated. With a broken heart, I left the cave, my family, and my home. I was all alone in a world full of danger and the cruelty of reality.

I ran deeper into the forest. The rain came as if to signify my sorrow.

The wet ground from the rain made it difficult for me to run.

Wild plants scratched my skin, thick leaves wrapped around my body as I struggled to keep running.

Everything felt foreign; there was no longer a sense of safety here, only the suffocating silence.

'Dad... Mom...'

'Why!!?'

I stopped in my tracks and fell, collapsing into unimaginable sadness.

'Why!?' My wail echoed in the silent forest. But only the silence of the night answered.

Suddenly, I heard rustling from the bushes.

A thunderous growl pierced the silence, shaking the air around me. A wolf with bluish-black fur emerged from the darkness, its eyes glowing like fierce flames. Its long fangs protruded downwards, giving the impression that it was not just a wild creature, but something very dangerous.

"Roaar!" Its growl reverberated around, as if calling the forces of nature to join in. A cold aura suddenly enveloped me, and every detail of its large, muscular body reflected the flashes of light breaking through the clouds.

'Haaahh!?'

I was startled, feeling anxious about the threat that had appeared.

I ran without thinking. My legs felt heavy, but the fear that enveloped me made me move faster. That terrifying scream still echoed in the air, as if shaking the ground beneath my feet.

'Why!?'

'Is the other world this cruel? I just want to live...'

Behind the dark sky covered by trees, I could see a large shadow moving quickly, getting closer. The sound of its heavy footsteps made the ground tremble, and I knew that if I didn't find a place to hide soon, I wouldn't survive.

I glanced back, but could only see that large figure speeding towards me. My eyes focused on a small cave at the edge of the forest, not too far away. I decided to run there, hoping to find shelter.

I ran faster, my feet pounding on the damp ground, as the fear continued to creep over me. The wind rushed past my face, as if urging me toward the cave. The tension filled the air around me, and every second felt like hours. The wolf was still chasing me.

The cave was getting closer. My eyes began to catch its silhouette among the trees, the dark and inviting mouth of the cave. I ran even faster, almost feeling the vibrations of the ground beneath my feet.

Finally, I reached the cave and entered it. I quickly hid at the edge of the cave's rocks, my breath coming in gasps. I glanced at the wolf that was searching for me, trying to hold my breath so I wouldn't be detected.

The wolf sniffed around and seemed to lose track of its prey. It turned around and went back into the forest.

'Haaahh...'

Perhaps due to the immense physical and mental exhaustion, my entire body collapsed.

'I'm tired...'

'Dad... Mom... even though I was just born into this world two weeks ago, I already considered them my parents.'

Because of the very rare Black Lizard skin, those humans killed my parents.

'Those greedy humans!'
