I Don’t Want to Be Turned into a Girl by Magic

Night gradually deepened.

When lights-out time arrived, the dormitory plunged into darkness with only the glow from three computer screens dimly illuminating the room's layout.

Chen Yao and Tu Junhui cursed and complained as they experienced died to Dota’s bots. Although they both had League of Legends experience, they still encountered troubles when exploring this new game on their own.

Xiong Da immersed himself alone in the Monster Hunter World, sitting there without saying a word.

The noisiest gamer in the dorm was Tu Junhui, followed by Lin Nan after being influenced by Lilith's personality... Usually it was fine, but when playing games Lin Nan got really worked up, almost like a different person entirely.

The menstrual blood that had accidentally leaked earlier still remained on her pants and bedding. The dormitory seemed to gradually fill with a bloody smell, forcing Lin Nan to start dealing with it.

Invisibility Magic.

She swallowed nervously. Since invisibility magic worked on the eyes of people around her rather than herself, after using the magic she sat there confused, not knowing if it had actually taken effect.

Whether it worked or not, in this pitch darkness no one would notice blood stains on my pants anyway.

With this thought, Lin Nan's courage grew considerably as she slowly got up and climbed down from bed.

Tiptoeing down to the floor, Lin Nan nervously glanced at her three roommates–no reaction.

Fortunately the wardrobe door wasn't too old and didn't make obvious sounds when opening and closing.

She turned to head to the bathroom to change, but the problem was the balcony door was tightly shut. If she opened it, the sudden cold wind blowing into the dorm would definitely disturb her roommates.

She took a deep breath, looked up once more to confirm her roommates couldn't see her, and decided to change directly in the dormitory.

Long pants, off and into the laundry bucket. Then the boxers...

Just being bare-legged didn't feel particularly wrong to Lin Nan, but taking off her entire lower half felt especially shameful and nerve-wracking even knowing her roommates couldn't possibly see her.

Her hands had just hooked the waistband on both sides and was about to pull down when she suddenly noticed Chen Yao turning his head to glance in her direction. Lin Nan felt like she'd been struck by lightning, her head spinning with fright as she froze in place, staring helplessly into Chen Yao's eyes.

But Chen Yao didn't seem to notice her figure, yawning before turning his gaze back to the computer screen.

He probably just heard some movement and turned around.

Lin Nan felt extremely guilty and didn't dare continue. Bare-legged, she hurriedly climbed back onto her bed, planning to change her underwear under the covers.

But there were bloodstains on the bedding, which felt dirty and disgusting.

After finally changing clothes with great difficulty, Lin Nan continued worrying about the bedsheets. That trip down and back up had made her heart race violently, her arms trembling.

If Chen Yao had looked at her just one minute later, she would have been completely naked from the waist down. Even knowing he couldn't see her, she still felt lingering fear.

The hardest part to solve was actually going downstairs to change pants, since the blood color was so obvious. But magic solved that problem.

So she began stripping the bedding and removing the sheets.

The school's iron bunk beds always had wooden board bottoms. Lin Nan had laid a bamboo mat on top, and due to dropping temperatures, covered the bamboo mat with another sheet.

Although lying on it was uncomfortably hard, she'd gotten used to it.

Standing up, she first changed the sheet, putting the bloodstained one on Chen Yao's bed, then the bedding.

"Why are you washing bedding in the middle of the night?"

Chen Yao heard her movement and casually asked while looking up: "Just now too… why change pants without showering?"

"???"

Lin Nan standing there immediately froze. The magic didn't work?!

She felt her scalp tingling with lingering fear, but didn't understand why the magic had failed to take effect.

Could it only work on one target?

"I felt... a bit dirty..." she weakly replied.

Chen Yao looked up to see Lin Nan struggling somewhat with the bedding. "Need help?"

"No need! No need!" Lin Nan shook her head frantically and quickly sped up her movements. "I can finish soon!"

For some reason, the bloody smell he’d noticed before seemed to have gotten stronger.

Chen Yao frowned as he watched Lin Nan panicking on the bed, feeling like something was wrong.

But since the dorm lights were already off and it was pitch dark, he could only see Lin Nan's silhouette, not even her expression.

"There really does seem to be some smell?"

Tu Junhui suddenly turned around and asked in confusion: "I didn't notice it before, but now it seems much more obvious."

Probably because the bloody smell had been trapped in the bedding before?

Lin Nan hurriedly sped up, stripping off the bedding and sheets before climbing down and stuffing everything into the bucket, then carrying it toward the balcony. She had to wash everything clean before they finished their games!

She'd originally wanted to use the washing machine downstairs, but thinking carefully, who knew what that thing had washed, and it might not clean properly anyway. For something this personal that went against her body, hand washing was better.

The dormitory building was surrounded by iron railings. When climbing over, there was nowhere to step, so you had to use arm strength to pull yourself over. Lin Nan seriously doubted whether she had that ability now.

"So wouldn't it be better if I just go?" Chen Yao put his hands in his pockets and curiously glanced at the water bucket in the sink. "Why is the water a bit red?"
