Chapter 434: It's Reasonable That the Sun King Only Emits Light and Heat

"Damn it, these Evil Demons actually aren't afraid of the power of the Sun at all."

Didor ran. When the Heart Demon Dao Soldiers approached, the closeness of death and the fear that surged endlessly from within made him disgracefully abandon the dignity of the Sun King.

His fleeing led to a complete defeat in the Sun Dynasty's battle.

"I must find the Moon Priest and gain the power of the moon, only then can I wash away this shame."

Fortunately, Didor was not a fool. Over the years, he hadn't limited himself to the power of the sun and had even coveted the power of the moon.

However, back then, the Moon Priest refused to submit to him, so he used some minor tricks. Unexpectedly, the Moon Priest decisively unleashed the power of the moon, splitting the two worlds and forcefully taking away much of his bloodline.

This rebellion, for a whole thirty thousand years, finally allowed Didor to reshape the two worlds back together.

The events of that year not only failed to get him the power of the moon, but also significantly reduced his power due to the shattering of the world.

"I must gather everyone, restore my strength, and gain the power of the moon before these Evil Demons find me."

"Otherwise, there's no way to resist these Evil Demons."

Didor naturally knew that there must be a mastermind behind these Evil Demons, and it's highly likely that they're the true rulers behind those who call themselves the Ascended Empire, the Intelligent Machinery.

"If my power hadn't declined, how could it be your turn to be so arrogant," Didor said bitterly.

The path of escape went smoothly, and he soon regained command of his forces.

In the Sun Dynasty, there are three levels, namely the Supreme Sun King like himself, followed by the Sun Warriors who fight for the sun, and finally the slaves, whether they are Raging Sun Slaves or ordinary people unable to awaken the power of the sun, who would all be reduced to slavery, a lifetime possession of either a Sun Warrior or a Sun King without any chance to rise.

This system started since Didor became the Sun King and has unbreakably existed for fifty thousand years. During this time, though many novel things appeared, such as metal smelting and agricultural development, every form of progress was suppressed and destroyed by Didor.

In his eyes, only the power of the sun is supreme, whether metal or food, can never surpass the sun in terms of devotion.

Thus, any emerging thought or development is considered heresy, eventually facing the Sun's punishment leading to death.

The so-called Sun Dynasty is actually still a tribal system despite being named a dynasty, with him as the Sun King ruling over various tribes.

Tribal chieftains are taken up by his loyal Sun Warriors.

Although these measures failed to drive civilization's progress, they allowed Didor to gain immense control through his own military strength and prestige.

Even after his defeat, when he waved his arm, countless slaves and Sun Warriors were still enslaved by him like lambs, not daring any dissenting action.

"My king, thanks to the sun's protection, we managed to retreat successfully." A burly Sun Warrior approached, kneeling on the ground, speaking devoutly like a Believer.

"Ha, my most loyal warrior Heath, may you proceed under the sun's protection," Didor habitually placated, then realized it's not the time for this. Seriously he said, "Count the bravest warriors among all tribes and swiftly find the traitorous Moon Priest or her descendants."

"Also, construct sufficient defense measures to prevent those puppet people from breaking through the front lines!"

His commands were chaotic; after all, in past rebellions or wars, under the power of the sun, enemies had no resistance whatsoever.

Thus, the Sun Dynasty never developed any related command skills, so he merely stumbled on what to say.

The Sun Warriors below listened, each one lowered to listen.

"We must act quickly, those Evil Demons are enemies of the sun, and we, as descendants of the sun, must eliminate them."

"If it hadn't been for the betrayal of the Moon Priest which wounded me and yet to recover, these Evil Demons would have long turned to ash under the sun's radiance!"

Didor had always ruled the entire Sun Dynasty through faith and military force. Now, with a lapse in military prowess, he needed a consoling excuse to prevent dissent among his subordinates, and then he patched it up with faith.

After listening to his holy teachings, everyone naturally went out to work.

He wasn't particularly devout to the sun, perhaps at first, yes, but after fifty thousand years, except when he doubted the sun due to the Moon Priest's betrayal, he now felt more noble than the sun itself, as the supreme existence rather than the so-called sun-appointed king.

Otherwise, how could he enslave the power of the sun?

Previously, he thought the sun granted him this power, but now he feels it's more like he enslaved the sun, though since he hasn't completely recovered from his heyday and can't repeat the Moon Priest's rebellion, after all, faith is part of his rule, saying it outright might spark dissatisfaction.

In Didor's original vision, once he acquired the power of the moon, he would transform the Sun Dynasty into the Supreme Dynasty, and he would become the Supreme King, above both sun and moon.
