Chapter 366: I Directly Play Beast-fighting Chess with the Divine_2

"Yo," Little White indicated that no matter how far he opened up, it wouldn't make any difference. With the commotion his size caused, he might as well stay put and wait to be caught.

"Alright, just be careful," Gu Shanhai said, feeling that Little White made a lot of sense.

He then plunged headfirst into the sea, still constrained by its limits.

When he reached the ocean floor, Gu Shanhai also encountered the Giant Toothed Mad Shark. Its size was significantly larger than that of the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon, but its appearance was that of a legit great white shark, without much fanciness.

Upon seeing Gu Shanhai's arrival, the Giant Toothed Mad Shark struggled frantically, just like the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon had, but being caught between illusion and reality, it could only rage impotently.

There are different kinds of fury, after all. Compared to the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon, the Giant Toothed Mad Shark managed to pull a part of the chains binding it, but here, the bonds were stronger, even embedded in its flesh. Even if it managed to pull some chains, it was all in vain.

There was no such thing as "Great Perfection" or "near escape"; if it couldn't break free, it would be suppressed forever.

"Evil Gods are simply unreasonable. Clearly a dragon and a shark, yet they both act like rabid dogs," Gu Shanhai directly lifted the Giant Toothed Mad Shark's restraints.

Once bitten, twice shy, right? He'd done this once before, so this time it was much easier.

Like the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon, the Giant Toothed Mad Shark targeted Gu Shanhai the moment it broke free.

Gu Shanhai didn't offer it any sympathy, revealing his true form and bombarding it relentlessly. He even forcibly tore off the shark's fins, staining a vast area of the sea with frenzied Divine Blood.

But the Giant Toothed Mad Shark didn't even consider backing down; instead, it grew more furious. In the end, Gu Shanhai beat it black and blue, turning it belly up in the sea.

It wasn't dead, though; Gu Shanhai had held back.

"Fancy a bit of a refill? Head in that direction; there's a weaker Divine hiding there, and it tastes quite fresh," Gu Shanhai said with a hint of seduction in his voice.

The belly-up, playing dead Giant Toothed Mad Shark didn't react at all. Gu Shanhai didn't mind and left, carrying the shark's fin with him.

Prepared properly, that fin could make shark fin soup.

He hadn't intended to rip the shark's fins off, but the creature just had no sense, slamming itself against him several times. Had it been the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon, it would have fled long ago. But the Giant Toothed Mad Shark, like a stubborn fool, kept charging and irritated Gu Shanhai to the point of tearing the fins off.

As for the inherent chaos that came with Divine beings, Gu Shanhai didn't care one bit; if handled well, how could chaos compare to the lively vegetables and rice that jump, run, and wrestle?

After Gu Shanhai departed, the Giant Toothed Mad Shark rolled over and started to ferociously bite at the Sea Beasts that surrounded it. Its torn fins also gradually regrew.

Watching the direction Gu Shanhai had left in, the Giant Toothed Mad Shark's eyes were filled with ferocity, but having been thoroughly beaten, it dared not seek revenge right away. Mainly because it knew it couldn't win anyway.

Once it had recovered some strength, it finally swam in the direction Gu Shanhai had pointed to, where the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon was located.

Gu Shanhai was pleased with the Giant Toothed Mad Shark's choice, especially since it had parted with its fins, its approval rating soaring above that of the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon.

Now, Gu Shanhai thought about releasing another Divine, yes, the Hunter of Sea Sharks.

He figured if the Giant Toothed Mad Shark won, wouldn't all that audacity fall on its head? And Gu Shanhai would never tolerate that.

The Hunter of Sea Sharks then, a rather niche Divine, not as prominent as the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon. But no matter, its name suggested a specialty in shark hunting. All Gu Shanhai needed to do was to set the Hunter of Sea Sharks on the Giant Toothed Mad Shark, and the Giant Toothed Mad Shark on the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon, then have the Ten-winged Sea Demon Dragon go after the Hunter of Sea Sharks. Thus, a perfect closed loop would be formed.

Each with its own threats, Gu Shanhai doubted they would remain insolent.

There could be some small risks, like the three Divines teaming up against Gu Shanhai.

This certainly posed a problem, but after considering for a moment, Gu Shanhai had an easy solution—when the time came, he would just beat them all down, wouldn't that be perfect.

And he could add a couple more dragon livers, shark fins, and octopus tendrils to the mix.

That's right, Hunter of Sea Sharks was a giant octopus, similar in existence to the North Sea Giant Monster Karaken.

However, it was not entirely octopus in appearance; it also shared some features of other marine creatures. As for why it was named Hunter of Sea Sharks, Gu Shanhai was not clear—why would he bother researching such trivial things.

The reasons behind these Divine Beings' formations were never recorded, let alone countless years had passed since, making them impossible to find.

Arriving at the spot where Hunter of Sea Sharks was suppressed, one had to say, this one had it the worst of the three Divine Beings.

At least others retained some semblance of dignity, but Hunter of Sea Sharks was balled up completely.

The massive octopus tentacles, covered with various sharp teeth and suction cups, looked ferocious; it would have been better if these tentacles were not turned inside out.

In terms of chains, it had the fewest, which presumably meant the least restriction, but what a pity—lacking in strength, it couldn't interfere with the outside world in the slightest, not even able to sense Gu Shanhai's arrival.

Under normal conditions, when Gu Shanhai observed these Divine Beings, they would reciprocate. If they could not sense each other, it was as if they were in completely separate dimensions.

But for Hunter of Sea Sharks, the reason it couldn't see Gu Shanhai was because its sight was blocked by its own tentacles.

That's right, its tentacles were all suspended by a multitude of chains, causing them to float.

Gu Shanhai could also see the spiral-shaped sharp beak beneath the massive head—if bitten by it, one would undoubtedly lose a large chunk of flesh.

Of course, Gu Shanhai meant this among Divine Beings—with ordinary sea folk, one bite would turn them to paste.

Seemingly aware of Gu Shanhai's presence, Hunter of Sea Sharks struggled frantically. The tentacles, already half-dead, wriggled continuously, looking to break free and see who had arrived.

Seeing this, Gu Shanhai couldn't help but smile—since the other party was so eager for a beating, he would certainly fulfill this request.

His third time aiding a Divine Being in release flowed even more smoothly; the chains piercing through all the tentacles of Hunter of Sea Sharks instantly shattered.

Like the multifaceted eyes of an octopus, it blinked but didn't attack right away. Instead, sensing something, it darted about frantically with its numerous tentacles, trying to flee in terror.

"This intelligence seems quite high?" Gu Shanhai found it hard to believe. The creature wasn't launching an attack but instead desperately trying to escape.

"Come back here, or else it will be grilled octopus time, and you should know where the ingredients will come from," Gu Shanhai thought, maybe a threat would work.

Sure enough, the figure of Hunter of Sea Sharks hesitated, and then its tentacles began to move back toward him, albeit with some difficulty.

Gu Shanhai was astonished to the point of considering this a revelation—they had already encountered two Divine Beings with underdeveloped brains, but now, to meet an intelligent one, how could he not be curious.

"It seems you're a bit different from the other Divine Beings—tell me, why you tried to escape," Gu Shanhai asked leisurely.

The immense Hunter of Sea Sharks gestured with its tentacles, pointing towards Gu Shanhai.

The meaning was clear—it sensed the scent of flesh and blood from the Giant Toothed Mad Shark on Gu Shanhai, and coupled with his effortless breaking of the chains that bound it, Gu Shanhai's power was incomparable, beyond anything it could handle, so fleeing was naturally the best choice.

Because the creature didn't know whether the Giant Toothed Mad Shark was dead or just injured by Gu Shanhai, but for the sake of its own life, it chose to assume the former was dead and then made its escape, ensuring the greatest degree of self-preservation.
