Chapter 357: The foremost quality of a sea vessel is durability, the type that can't be easily destroyed_2

Islands were convenient, but their absence wouldn't have affected them much.

"Could it be that it's outdated..." Gu Shanhai couldn't help but think of version updates.

Perhaps before the ocean era, it might have been the land era.

"So, in the era before the Pirate King, was the Mountain Bandit King the mainstream?" Gu Shanhai couldn't help but have a brainwave about this.

"Forget it, never mind all that, just throw all the commoners out."

The Royal Family needed commoners, but Gu Shanhai did not.

After taking out the Azure Dragon, Gu Shanhai activated the space slaughter mode... in another way.

Gu Shanhai had analyzed the technology related to the Teleportation Array in the previous world; naturally, he intended to use it, so he installed it on the multifunctional Azure Dragon.

This thing could not only be used as a weapon of mass destruction but also for precision positioning.

As for the other usage, it was very simple, just ordinary space teleportation.

"Oh, right, before that, I have to strip the commoners of their status. If all the people are gone, why should their household registrations stay with me? They can't claim space rations." After operating for a while, Gu Shanhai stripped all the commoners of their status.

The Azure Dragon immediately activated the space teleportation, and everything, whether people or objects, houses included, were all teleported away.

"Done, not even a speck of trash left behind."

He sent people and buildings to the neighboring island, and as for what would happen, Gu Shanhai was too lazy to inquire. After all, he was here to rob, not to explain himself so much.

You don't see a bank robber providing a story about why they're robbing the bank in the middle of a heist, it's not like they're the greatest sob story king, where spilling their guts might reduce their sentence next time they're caught.

Gu Shanhai didn't care what would become of those people; thinking about it after the fact seemed rather silly.

"Next, I need to install the hardware. Azure Dragon, time to work." Gu Shanhai took out the previously constructed palace from his sleeve, planning to place it in the center of the island.

However, the center of the island had been occupied by a temporary palace built by the previous Royal Family, so he needed the Azure Dragon to come and blast it away.

Fortunately, in this regard, the Azure Dragon was a professional; one breath of Dragon Breath, and the area became flat ground.

After placing down the main hall of the Five Elements Sect, Gu Shanhai gave the Azure Dragon a knowing look.

The Azure Dragon's Spiritual Intelligence was not low, and it immediately understood what to do and dutifully floated over, exhaling Dragon Breath to merge the palace and the entire island together.

Previously, it was just placement; now it was truly combined as one.

"Good, my ship is now two-thirds complete. All that's left is to connect all parts of the island, and then my Five Elements Sect vessel will be finished."

"With this control authority, many things have become much more convenient, although the completion time might not be short."

Convenience was because Gu Shanhai was looking to save effort; the long timeline was because he needed to delve into something related to the Royal Family.

"Eh, the neighboring island sent people to investigate. Azure Dragon, go handle it. If they are nice and polite, let it be, but if they have a bad attitude, send them on their way, and while you're at it, hit their island with a blast of Dragon Breath." Gu Shanhai waved his hand, sending Azure Dragon off to deal with it.

The fault lay with Gu Shanhai, no doubt, but he didn't feel like dealing with it and preferred to play the fool. Even if the others weren't happy about it, Gu Shanhai would proudly retort, "What, you got a problem with that?"

Unless he encountered someone whose strength was on par with his own, Gu Shanhai did indeed have the power to be arrogant.

He knew this could lead to a dangerous path, but if push came to shove, he could always run away.

The Azure Dragon shook its head and flew off, only to see that a warship had already docked, and several individuals had already landed.

Finding out that the issue was on Gu Shanhai's side was quite simple; those people from the land were not fools, one question and they knew.

The sea folks were immediately on guard upon seeing the Azure Dragon approach.

The Royal Family would sometimes recruit some sea folks' fleets to work for them, and with the added incentive of special island products, the two sides would have a cooperative relationship. At times, they might even develop a superior-subordinate dynamic, but that generally depended on the power of the Royal Family. Usually, however, the Royal Family would not recruit overly strong sea folks' fleets, for fear that the fleet's captain might think about retiring and take them out in the process.

The Azure Dragon floated over, using its short little arms to continuously gesture, signaling the others to leave.

The group looked extremely puzzled because they simply could not understand what the Azure Dragon was gesticulating.

At last, the sea folk leader hesitated before asking, "Do you mean for us to leave, is that it?"

The Azure Dragon nodded, wondering how this kid could not even understand sign language, when even the White Tiger, whose Spiritual Intelligence wasn't exactly stellar, could figure it out.

"And what if we don't leave, what do you plan to do?" the leading sea folk narrowed his eyes. He was on a mission; if he just left because he was told to, how would he explain that when he got back?

He was certain that the being transporting people and houses was this long serpent's master.

Hearing this, the Azure Dragon also hesitated for a moment, then opened its mouth and exhaled a fierce brilliance that split the sea apart, extending to the edge of their line of sight. Several seconds passed before the sea closed back up again.

Seeing this, the expressions of the sea folks changed, and the leader even swallowed hard, his calf muscles beginning to quiver.

"Understood, we will leave right away, we guarantee no one will disturb you," the other party gave in immediately, ready to make a quick getaway.

They did possess Transcendent abilities, indeed, but the long serpent opposite them was clearly much stronger. With one breath, not to mention themselves, even their ships would probably be reduced to ashes.

After stating this, the sea folks tried to keep a calm demeanor as they returned to their ship.

Then, they very decisively doubled the ship's speed and took an S-shaped route, terrified that the Azure Dragon might send over a long breath from afar, which, in that case, would spell total doom.

The Azure Dragon scratched its belly with its short little arms, somewhat confused. It wasn't that it didn't want to scratch its head, but rather that its arms were too short to reach.

It was currently pondering whether the others' attitude was a good or bad sign. If it were considered good, then the matter could just be left as it was. However, if it were bad, then they definitely couldn't leave it at that; they would have to let out another Dragon Breath at the island these people belonged to.

"Maybe... ask Little White?" The Azure Dragon mulled over this idea in its mind.

It was no use consulting the White Tiger, as its mind was even less sharp.

It then contacted Little White directly, sent over the images of what had just happened, and sought advice on whether further action was required.

Little White also took the time to analyze with the Azure Dragon the causes and consequences, only to conclude that it did not know either.

Gu Shanhai watched Little White and the Azure Dragon communicating instantly through the Four Saints Beasts System and didn't know what to say.

If you say the Azure Dragon wasn't too bright, at least it knew to ask for advice when it encountered something it didn't understand. But to then come to the conclusion that asking Little White, using the Four Saints Beasts System to boot, was the best course of action? In the time it took to ask, the Four Saints Beasts System itself could have produced the answer.

"Never mind, Artificial Intelligence requires time to evolve from artificial stupidity."

The Azure Dragon had already calculated that the White Tiger had a more severe problem and needed to continue growing.

"Come back, you've handled the situation well," Gu Shanhai asked the Azure Dragon to return, indicating there was no point in discussing it with Little White anymore. This dragon-deer duo could debate until tomorrow and still have no result.

Upon receiving Gu Shanhai's telepathic message, the Azure Dragon decisively ended the chat with Little White and floated excitedly back.

Gu Shanhai didn't explain much to the Azure Dragon; instead, he stuffed it back into the Nine States Instrument and then told the Four Saints Beasts System to expedite the intelligence augmentation plan for both the Azure Dragon and the White Tiger, his creature companions.

Little White... never mind. It was enough for it to be able to charge and stomp; no need to ask too much of it.

Its intelligence was sharp, sure, but it seemed to become somewhat babyish after staying with Gu Shanhai for too long. It's not that Little White was incompetent; away from Gu Shanhai, it might cause problems, but with Little White's strength, it was more likely to cause problems for others rather than itself.
