Chapter 355: Directly Dumping It All into the Trench

"A player of a lifestyle profession, even if they've reached level 300, they don't have much combat ability. Is there really a need to make such a big fuss?" Fire Dragon's Flame looked somewhat puzzled.

The chairman of the Giant Dragon's Breath, Demon Dragon's Eye, shook his head, "This is Mr. Qin's territory, better to be safe than sorry."

This time, the top combat forces of Giant Dragon's Breath had all come, eighteen people in total.

Their purpose was simple: to abduct the person and imprison them, forcing them to produce various consumables, tools, and so on.

There was definitely danger, but in the mind of Demon Dragon's Eye, that danger did not come from Gu Shanhai but from Shura and the others.

What could a level 300 do, anyway? Just a mere lifestyle player; even if it were level 3000, it would be the same.

Among the mainstream lifestyle players, most of them didn't have strong combat capabilities, and those who did were low-profile, not making a big show of it. If they wanted to show off and slap faces with a high-profile lifestyle, why be a lifestyle player? They could simply become combat job players and better highlight themselves.

As for Gu Shanhai, who had been level 300 a hundred years ago, they also looked down on that.

Demon Dragon's Eye was currently only level 325, considered a player of the new generation, not one of the old guard.

But he had always wanted to break into the first echelon, and now he had such an opportunity to measure up against the famous Shura, the bizarre Mr. Qin, and others.

It wouldn't matter if he failed, since he could just leave this world when the time came, and what could they do to him then?

"You go find a way to lure the person out," said Demon Dragon's Eye, dismissive but not foolish. If the other party were truly stronger, wouldn't he be trapped?

"Understood!" Fire Dragon's Flame did not have too many thoughts. After all, he knew Gu Shanhai and should be the one to go.

Returning after half an hour, his brow was furrowed. "Chairman, the Shopkeeper said the person is not there."

"Not there? Could they have discovered our presence?" Demon Dragon's Eye was also puzzled.

It was definitely frustrating to just go back like this, so he asked, "Did he say where they went?"

"Not sure, the Shopkeeper said the person left half an hour ago and didn't mention their itinerary." Fire Dragon's Flame glanced at his team, feeling that something was off, but after checking again, all eighteen people were accounted for.

"This is troublesome, we might encounter unexpected complications. Had I known, I would have had someone shadow him before coming," Demon Dragon's Eye felt a bit awkward. There were still five days left for it to count as a month, and since he didn't explicitly say he was checking out, he was probably still around.

"What should we do now?" Fire Dragon's Flame also looked anxious. In such matters, you either act quickly or things go awry.

"First, you go and lie in wait. As soon as the person arrives, bring him over. We eighteen will set up a trap here as a contingency," Demon Dragon's Eye said after looking at his own people.

"Chairman, do you feel like we have one extra person among us?" spoke Ice Dragon's Claw, out of the blue.

They had come with only eighteen people; how could there be eighteen left after sending one to watch?

"!!!" Everyone was shocked for a moment, realizing there really was one extra person.

"Did you bring some kind of weirdness back with you?" Demon Dragon's Eye immediately suspected Fire Dragon's Flame, knowing all too well about Mr. Qin's eerie district. It would make sense to bring something back from there.

"How could that be, Mr. Qin wouldn't do such a thing," said Fire Dragon's Flame in a hurry. The killing rules of rule-based weirdness were indiscriminate; the other party definitely wouldn't place it in the commercial district. But he calmed down and continued, "Right now, we need to quickly find out who the extra person is."

If they found out, good; if not, then they would be waiting for their annihilation.

Demon Dragon's Eye knew the best course of action was to immediately leave this world, as the extra one wouldn't be able to follow them.

But to just leave like that was too unsatisfying.

So they could only proceed with Fire Dragon's Flame's suggestion, "Search! You must find the person; it's definitely one of Mr. Qin's tricks."

"Roll call!"

"Ice Dragon, Blood Dragon..."

After a round of roll call by Demon Dragon's Eye, all eighteen were accounted for, and he was stupefied.

"The extra person seems to be you, Chairman?" Fire Dragon's Flame piped up, giving it straight.

For a moment, Demon Dragon's Eye felt a chill run through his body; how did he become the extra one?

"I..." Just as he was about to argue, he felt eighteen pairs of eyes staring at him deathly, and in a corner, there was another "him."

"I've been had, I need to... uh~" He was contemplating a retreat when all of a sudden, his mind became a jumble, his body shaking uncontrollably like he was drowning.

"Moving on, we'll have to interrogate them one by one." Gu Shanhai emerged from the corner, hanging all eighteen people upside down.

"All of you, we could have engaged in a peaceful transaction, but you had to do this."

Gu Shanhai's plan was simple: to make them all 'disappear,' never to return but not dead either.

"Let's begin with this Demon Dragon's Eye."

If not for the rule that hypnotic control and other means couldn't make players give up their possessions willingly, Gu Shanhai wouldn't have had to go through such trouble.

Doing so would be considered illegal trading, and he wouldn't get his hands on the goods.
