The second phase required him to extend the mental stillness he had achieved in Ripple Mind throughout his entire body, creating a harmonious flow of Astra energy that would absorb energy from the void, increasing his cultivation base in the process.

Multiple multipliers triggered throughout the process, some as low as 500x and others reaching as high as 3,000x. However, he was still wasn't able to grasp the second stage immediately until after sometime.

Then he immediately started to practice it after getting the hang of the technique.

His spiritual energy, which had always existed as a diffuse cloud of power flowing through his meridians, suddenly collapsed inside of itself forming drops of dense blue liquid that settled into his abdomen like a ice drop of water.

This stage required him to achieve perfect unity between his mind, his energy, his body and his Astra talent itself.

The manual described it as dissolving the boundaries between self and element, becoming one with the element that manipulating it became as natural as moving one's own limbs.

This was the phase Levi was most excited about.

Levi spent hours attempting to process the technique. His water-attribute Astra Soul helped significantly but it was still very difficult to figure out.

The highest multiplier he had ever received suddenly triggered, and Levi felt his mind undergo a massive expansion.

His awareness, which had been locked down by his mind suddenly seemed to expand in all directions!

He could actually sense water everywhere in the air around him, in the walls of his cultivation chamber where moisture had seeped into the wall, in his own body and even the Gladine stone underneath him.

It wasn't more like he could sense it but that the element itself allowed him to sense it.

He immediately went into meditation as he began practicing the cultivation method.

Time seemed to lose meaning as he floated in that state of expanded awareness, observing how water moved and transformed throughout the natural world, flowing from liquid to gas, from gas to solid and solid to liquid.

A click echoed in his brain as something seemed to snap inside of him.
