Ainen grinned as he looked at his status.

'I'll gather more stat points and then use them.'

Now, it was time to get to the main destination.

Lainark Town was still around 35-40 kilometers from here.

"Ron, Syl, let's go."

This time, Ainen didn't take any breaks on the way to the town.

They arrived at Lainark Town past 1:30 a.m. And it was still a bright sight.

The town was alive in many parts, especially the center.

Ainen watched it from afar while flying 400 meters high up in the air, while Ron, Syl, Saffa, Clovelle, and Fraisea were inside the restaurant.

'Damn, it's big.'

It was a small city carved into the wilderness, with tall, fortified walls of pale stone that glowed faintly under the moonlight. Four watchtowers stood at each corner, their lanterns burning with soft blue witchfire that rose high up in the sky.

'That's a rather interesting place.' Lord Black's voice rang, his tone as if he had discovered something interesting.

"Yeah, it looks amazing."

'It seems to have something amazing buried deep within as well.'

Inside, the streets were wide and well-paved, lined with a mix of timber-and-stone houses, merchant stalls, and small manors belonging to the wealthy folks.

The central district was the heart of the town.

It was a large circular plaza called Adventurer's Plaza surrounding a fountain engraved with the crest of the Duke of Lainark, showing a rampant stag crowned with leaves.

Even at past midnight, Adventurer's Plaza was still noisy. Adventurers with bloody armor shouting at merchants, bargaining hard.

Blacksmith forges still burning, hammer sound ringing through the night.

Taverns full of laughter, curses, and mug sounds hitting the table.

The smell of meat roasting, cheap ale, wet stone, and smoke all mix together.

Far north side, land a little higher. There stood the Duke's keep, a palace surrounded by giant crystal lamp lights, like a big guardian star watching the whole town.

Ron, Syl, and the felines were also watching in the kitchen through the screen inside.

"Brother, let's go fast!"

"It's so big!"

Ainen smiled.

'Let's go.'

Entering the town, Ainen first settled on his place to stay.

He went to the Inn recommended by Hammer and gave his name.

It wasn't too grand, but it wasn't bad. It was built akin to a courtyard with multiple houses made of Earth and Metal, unlike a single building having multiple rooms.

This model was for extra privacy, and many appreciated that, especially the Adventurer's party, so it was doing well business-wise.

It was for Adventurers, so Ainen only saw Adventurers.

Since Ron and Syl were with him, as well as the foxes, Ainen booked the best category of the houses, costing him 150 Gold coins per day for the best blocks that only numbered five, but he got a discount thanks to Hammer, so Ainen only paid 130.

Well, he was super rich after emptying the pockets of Diana and Naresh, so after paying two days' price, Ainen entered the place.

It was big. Big enough for a party of ten people, and also had a mechanism of partitioning the house into multiple rooms with walls for privacy.

'As expected of a fantasy world with magic. Is this some kind of magic formation?'

This house was a marvel of minimal magic engineering to create and adjust the stone walls in the house.

Ainen took out Ron, Syl, and the felines from the restaurant, and soon, all of them were sleeping soundly, but not before filling their stomach with Ainen's heavenly food.

Morning arrived in the blink of an eye.

The gang woke up at around 9 a.m. and freshened up in the bathroom one by one.

The foxes were as clean as ever, not even a spec of dust on their fur.

So, everyone was ready, and it was time.

Ron and Syl marched out of the house with excitement, followed by Ainen in his Glaciar Starlight outfit.

After locking the door, Ainen led Ron and Syl to look around in this big town.

And of course, to sell some food!

Now that he was in a big place, he had to change his strategy.

Ainen grinned.

He had a great idea.

"First, we will buy clothes.

"Clothes?!"

"Yey!"

"This looks pretty good." Ainen looked at the big store's entrance.

[Rainbow Weaving Tailor]

It was a five-storey store, and was apparently the biggest clothing shop in the town, that not only sold normal clothes, but also magic outfits enchanted with skills and perks.

The Adventurers seeking to boost their elemental magic bought stuff from here.

"Welcome, dear customer."

Seeing Ainen's luxurious outfits, the guards promptly greeted him.

A blue-haired lady staff member on standby approached him with a smile.

"Hello there. If you have any specifications, I can help you as a guide."

"I want some good magic outfits for these two."

Ron and Syl were looking around the luxurious store with shining eyes.

They had never seen such a luxurious store before!

"Sure. Please follow me."

After an hour, Ainen finished shopping in the store.

He bought three pairs for both Ron and Syl, and also got three outfits for himself.

The total cost came to about 318 low-grade Mana Stones.

The outfits of Ron and Syl were more expensive because they were of upper Tier-1 magic outfits.

Meanwhile, he bought a simple outfit since he didn't need a defensive outfit. He had armor and the transformation of the foxes, both.

"Now then, shall we set up the stage for the business?"

"Business!"

"We will earn lots of money here, right, brother Ain?!"

"Yep. That's the plan. I need to buy some stuff that's expensive, so we gotta earn first."

Ainen needed some more resources, similar to Imerfon Fireheart Fruit and Geopulse Flower, to cook a dish for his Magic Core to act as its catalyst.

"Found it!"

"Show it."

"The spatial fluctuation is from the far west. It's in the bordering forest of our kingdom, near that new remote town." Crown Prince Maurin narrowed his eyes.

"I forgot about that town completely. Is there an Adventurer's Guild there?"

"Yes."

"Contact them, and tell them that the Royal Family's people will be coming to investigate there and will require their and the town's full cooperation." Irnia Belrik's eyes glinted. "Let's hope the cubs are still in that forest and haven't left."

"They were just born a few days ago. How can they move? We will surely get them."

Irnia scoffed in response. "They are born from that wolf and have his bloodline, which has an origin above Emperor-rank. At the very least, those cubs are directly born at the Adept rank. Level 101 minimum. Not to mention, they will have powerful innate talents and skills, and they will gain knowledge quickly through their bloodline pool."

"For us, they could have been true treasure, more than what you expected, but the trouble that comes with it is more than we can bargain for."

Irnia clenched her fists. "If I can't get the first rank..."

She coldly looked at Maurin. "You will take responsibility, because there will be no stopping that wolf. Atone for your mistake to spare the rest of the royal family."
