Chapter 90: The Ancient Emperor Ao, Defying All Sentient Beings! (5/5)
Can I control two Sea Kings?
With little Shirahoshi in tears, Poseidon's powers were likely summoning Sea Kings to come to her rescue. But Finn realized that if those massive creatures showed up at Fish-Man Island, it could be destroyed in an instant. He had to act fast.
Pushing hard from behind, Finn sent Shirahoshi flying out of the Shell Tower, her giant form propelled by a powerful vortex of seawater. He followed close behind, not giving her a chance to stop. The momentum carried her diagonally up and away from the island.
"Princess Shirahoshi!" Jinbei shouted, chasing after them. His heart raced as he saw the vortex swallowing the princess. He had to act quickly.
Suddenly, a deep, haunting sound echoed through the ocean. It was long and eerie, sending chills down Jinbei's spine. The sea below began to stir violently, something enormous moving beneath the waves.
Jinbei glanced down and froze in horror. A deep-sea monster the size of Fish-Man Island was rising toward them, its massive body displacing the ocean like an unstoppable force. Without a second thought, Jinbei kicked into high gear, fleeing upwards as fast as he could. Being crushed by this beast would be like getting hit by an entire island!
The rumbling grew louder as the monster surged through the water—a deep-sea python, its gigantic form weaving toward Shirahoshi. But it wasn't alone.
More Sea Kings were arriving, drawn by Poseidon's call. Finn, still pushing Shirahoshi through the water, took in the scene. One... two... three... twenty...
Sea Kings of all shapes and sizes were converging from every direction, creating an inescapable siege around Finn and Shirahoshi.
"Alright," Finn muttered to himself, "time to pick my favorites."
He'd summoned all these Sea Kings for one purpose: to select the two strongest and take control. But as the circle of creatures closed in, he realized he couldn't wait any longer. Thirty-four of them now surrounded him, and there was no escape. He had to act fast.
"There," Finn spotted a gigantic deep-sea crab—so large it dwarfed Fish-Man Island itself. "Perfect."
But before he could use his power to dominate it, a strange sound crackled through the water. Finn noticed the other Sea Kings suddenly acting uneasy, their once fearsome auras replaced with hesitation. Even the giant crab began to retreat.
"What's going on?" Finn wondered aloud, puzzled by the sudden shift.
Then, he saw it. In the distance, a silver light flickered, dazzling in the dark waters. As it grew closer, Finn realized what was causing the Sea Kings' fear—an electric eel, half the size of Fish-Man Island but crackling with lethal currents. It moved with speed and power, and as it approached, the Sea Kings near it recoiled, not wanting to be zapped.
"So, you're the troublemaker," Finn said with a grin, ready to use his power to control the electric eel. But just as he prepared to act, the situation changed again.
All the Sea Kings stopped their approach, each radiating an unmistakable aura of unease. Even the mighty electric eel, so arrogant moments ago, was now visibly shaken.
"What...?" Finn was confused but also excited. Could it be that something even stronger is coming?
From the depths of the ocean, a massive shadow began to rise. Whatever it was, it was bigger than anything Finn had seen so far. As it neared, the surrounding Sea Kings began retreating. Finn could sense their submission—they were making way for something far more powerful.
When the creature finally emerged, Finn's jaw dropped. It was a colossal deep-sea turtle, unlike any other. Its shell was as hard as granite, and its presence radiated authority. Every move it made felt like a declaration of dominance over all living things. Its mountain-sized eyes turned toward Finn, examining the human who had dared to interfere with Poseidon.
Finn smiled, unfazed by the giant creature. "You've arrived just in time."
He activated his power of Sea King dominance, and the turtle's immense eyes glowed. Finn felt a connection form—a spiritual bond.
"Master," the turtle's voice echoed in Finn's mind. "I am the Ancient Emperor Ao."
Finn chuckled. An emperor, huh? No wonder the other Sea Kings were terrified.
The bond allowed Finn to communicate directly with the Ancient Emperor Ao. "Tell me, Ao, why are the other Sea Kings so afraid of you? Is it just because of your size?"
"In the sea, size represents strength," Ao explained. "But my power goes beyond mere size. I have the racial talent to control water itself. In battle, I can manipulate water pressure to crush my enemies."
To demonstrate, the Ancient Emperor Ao flexed its horns, and the surrounding seawater obeyed. Huge columns of water as tall as mountains shot out, smashing into the nearby Sea Kings with devastating force. In seconds, they were torn apart, their remains scattering through the ocean.
Finn was in awe. This turtle is incredible!
"Excellent work, Ao!" Finn praised the Sea King, then asked, "Among these remaining creatures, who's the next strongest?"
Ao's massive eyes scanned the crowd. "That electric eel over there. Its power is formidable."
Finn grinned. "Perfect."
He wasted no time, using his second dominance ability to claim the electric eel. The creature submitted instantly.
"Master, I am the King of Deep Sea Electric Eels!" the eel's voice echoed in his mind.
"Good," Finn said. With his two Sea Kings now under control, he turned to Ao. "Send the others back."
"As you wish, Master," Ao replied. But then, in a respectful tone, he added, "Master, the mermaid princess is Poseidon herself. I ask for mercy on her behalf."
Finn laughed. "You don't need to worry. I never intended to harm her. I'm here to protect her."
With that, Ao relayed a message to the remaining Sea Kings, who all nodded in acknowledgment before dispersing into the depths of the ocean.
"Ding!" A prompt appeared before Finn.

Finn smiled. Top-tier gourmet food? Well, that's an easy choice.
But as he looked at the still-crying Shirahoshi, Finn sighed. Now I've got to make her stop crying? Great.
