Without another word, Kaen dashed forward, closing the gap between him and Shisui with remarkable speed. His two-tomoe Sharingan sharpened his reflexes, boosted his speed, and made his movements meticulous.

Shisui managed to block, deflecting Kaen's kunai just in time. But, the force of Kaen's strike sent him skidding backward, his feet rubbing against the arena floor as he struggled to maintain his balance.

For the next few moments, the arena resonated with the sharp clashing of kunai, shuriken, and swords as the two Uchiha engaged in an intense exchange of Taijutsu, Shurikenjutsu, and Uchiha-style swordsmanship. Their Sharingans allowed them to read each other's attacks, countering and reacting with blinding speed.

Seeing Shisui match him blow for blow, Kaen stepped back momentarily and formed a series of hand seals. With a deep breath, he unleashed a huge fireball. 'Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!' The signature technique of the Uchiha Clan, a massive ball of fire, roared toward Shisui at high temperature.

Unfazed, Shisui followed suit, forming his own hand seals just as quickly as Kaen, and unleashed an identical fireball.

'Boom!'

The two blazing fireballs collided in mid-air with a booming explosion, canceling each other out as flames scattered in all directions. As evidence of the powerful clash of jutsu, scorch marks covered the arena floor.

Nearly ten minutes passed as the battle dragged on between the two. Both Kaen and Shisui panted slightly with their chakra and physical strength pushed to the limit.

Despite their exhaustion, neither was willing to back down. It's not their Uchiha style.

The crowd watched with bated breath, fascinated by the intense battle. The two Uchiha moved at speeds nearly impossible to follow, each exchange filled with strength and lightning-fast reactions.

Even Jonin in the audience was impressed by the level of skill shown by the two.

"Come on, Shisui! Beat him!" Tenga shouted from the stand, his voice echoing across the arena.

Ryou stood silently beside him, his eyes slightly narrowed. He hadn't expected Shisui to be pushed to this extent by another Uchiha as he knew how strong Shisui was.

After thinking for a moment, he found it was normal. Shisui is just 7 years old, having graduated recently while Uchiha Kaen has better physical strength, chakra reserves, and the two-tomoe Sharingan.

Kaen stopped for a moment and commented, "You deserve the title of genius, Shisui. If you had trained for another year, I might not be your opponent. But now… you are weaker than me." Kaen could tell Shisui's at the end of his rope.

"You're right, Kaen-senpai," Shisui admitted, a faint smile on his tired face. "But I've still got a trump card that I haven't used yet. I saved it to fight Ryou, but your strength forced me to use it sooner than expected." 

As he spoke, his gaze sharpened. "If I fail to defeat you after this move, I will admit defeat."

His words caused a stir among the spectators. 'Shisui still has a hidden technique up his sleeve?' A low murmur spread through the crowd, everyone eager to see what Shisui's technique is.

Even Hiruzen Sarutobi raised an eyebrow, curious.

With a swift hand seal, Shisui faded away from everyone's sight, leaving nothing but a flicker of afterimage behind. It happened in the blink of an eye, too fast for Kaen to follow.

Kaen's eyes widened as he scanned his surroundings, but before he could react, Shisui appeared directly behind him, with a kunai pressed lightly against Kaen's back.

Not just Kaen, everyone froze because it's just a Body Flicker technique but Shisui's speed was too fast. He's really a talent to push a basic jutsu to such an advanced level.

At that moment, the referee stepped forward and declared Shisui the winner, and the crowd erupted into applause. It was really an exciting match.

Kaen's shoulders slumped slightly, accepting his defeat. Shisui lowered his kunai, offering Kaen a respectful nod before turning to leave the arena and returning to their team's side.

"Nice fight, Shisui!" Tenga beamed. "You did it!"

Ryou gave a small smile, "Your body flicker jutsu was excellent but it wasn't enough to defeat me."

Shisui didn't respond as his knees suddenly buckled, hitting the ground. Daichi stepped forward, steadying him. "You overexerted your chakra, Shisui. Take some time to recover your chakra, you still have another match this afternoon."

Meanwhile, in the observation stands, Hiruzen Sarutobi looked at young Shisui with a thoughtful expression. 'What a genius!' He mused to himself, recognizing Shisui's talent and his character.

After Shisui and Kaen's intense match, the remaining matches continued but none of them were as exciting as the fight between the two Uchiha's.

The next contest was between Kazuki Inuzuka and Ensui Nara. Ensui tried to trap Kazuki using the Nara Clan's signature shadow manipulation techniques, attempting to touch his shadow and bind him.

However, Kazuki combined with his dog companion, Shiro, evaded the shadows skillfully. Kazuki and Shiro worked in perfect understanding and defeated Ensui's strategies to secure a victory.

Following this was the match between Choaki Akimichi and Aimi Suzumu. Choaki with considerable physical strength and his clan's partial expansion technique, easily defeated Aimi.

The final match was between Tenga and Hana. With his mastery over Water Style jutsu, Tenga won the match with ease becoming the winner.

The next round of 6-to-3 elimination matches was set as follows:

Ryou vs. Kazuki Inuzuka 

Shisui vs. Retsu Hyuga 

Tenga vs. Choaki Akimichi

Before the next round, the contestants were given a three-hour break, but it was hardly enough for anyone to recover to their full strength. Especially Shisui, who exhausted his chakra and physical energy to the limit.

Though he had taken the Military Ration pill to replenish his chakra, it wouldn't be enough when his opponent was a Hyuga.

Tenga's next match against Akimich will be tough and challenging. The next round will be an exciting showdown.
