I Can See the Comments on the Doomed Novel

chapter 181

A few days later.

A new customer entered Cheol-ho’s shop.

It was two women.

A black motorcycle came to a precise stop right in front of the store, and the two women dismounted.

One had her black hair tied in a ponytail and wore a black belt at her waist.

The other was a short-haired woman dressed in a black rider suit.

Both were stunning beauties with great style.

As she walked down the street, every single passerby turned to look at her beauty.

Even the dimly lit shop, filled only with weapons, seemed to radiate a vibrant atmosphere.

The men who were busy selecting their gear found their attention stolen by her.

The women, unfazed by the gazes, approached the shop owner, Cheol-ho, directly.

“Do you know a man named Lee Ji-hoon?”

The woman with the ponytail asked immediately.

Her voice was incredibly cold and imposing, causing Cheol-ho to unconsciously sift through his memories before responding.

It wasn’t just her looks; the aura they exuded was anything but ordinary.

They were surely hunters boasting impressive skills.

“Hmm, he was a customer who came by not long ago. Strangely enough, he ordered a baseball bat.”

“Oh, so he did come here.”

At that, the woman with the bobbed hair chuckled softly.

“Honestly, there’s probably only one person who would order a baseball bat, and that’s Ji-hoon.”

“Then here.”

The women handed over a bundle and promptly left the shop.

A few men approached, seemingly trying to make a move, but when the woman wielding a sword released a hint of her killing intent, they quickly retreated.

Soon, only the sound of a motorcycle starting echoed in the air.

“Heh heh.”

Cheol-ho chuckled in wonder as he opened the bundle.

Inside were the materials he had contacted not long ago, necessary for crafting equipment.

Each item was something that could only be obtained by entering a gate or a dungeon.

To acquire these so quickly…

‘Moreover, both of them were stunning beauties. Did they really just ask those women to fetch the materials for them?’

The thought of having a relationship close enough to request such items from beauties, who would be hard-pressed to even share their contact information, piqued Cheol-ho’s curiosity about the man’s identity.

A few days later.

Upon hearing that the weapons were complete, the man came right away.

This time, he was accompanied by a stunning beauty with long blonde hair that cascaded down to her waist.

She appeared to be older than the man.

Cheol-ho was purely surprised by the fact that this man had brought yet another beauty with him.

Come to think of it, everyone who has come so far has been a woman, hasn’t it?

Is he really living up to the value of being handsome?

“Wow~ This is my first time in a hunter’s weapon shop.”

“Shall I buy you a self-defense weapon?”

“I’m good. What would I do with something like that in a café?”

“Well, you never know when a thief or a monster might suddenly appear, craving coffee.”

“Hehe! Then you can save me, right?”

Seeing the woman cross her arms playfully felt like a breath of youth.

The man approached without much reaction, as if he were used to such skinship.

“I’ve come to pick up the items I ordered.”

“Hmm, here it is.”

Though it was the first item he had ever made, he could confidently say it was a decent weapon.

The man lightly swung the baseball bat he received.

Soon, he wore a nostalgic expression as he traced his fingers along it.

“Thank you. It’s exactly the feeling I was looking for.”

“Is it really that much? Can I ask you just one thing?”

At Cheol-ho’s question, the man tilted his head.

“What exactly are you?”

“I’m the protagonist.”

The answer came without hesitation.

After saying that, the man chuckled as if he had just made a funny joke.

Of course, Cheol-ho had no idea what that meant.

“I’m just kidding. I’m just a hunter. I’ve only been studying so far, so I haven’t really done anything noteworthy yet.”

With that, the man bowed his head again in thanks and left the shop.

Cheol-ho watched him go and then nodded to himself.

“Yeah, that makes sense. He must be a hunter.”

When he thought about it, it was an obvious answer.

But why did it sound so oddly intriguing?

“Dad, I’m back! I stopped by for a bit on my way home.”

“Hey, our Eunsol is here?”

Soon, Cheol-ho greeted his daughter with a joyful face.

Lee Ji-hoon.

Perhaps it’s a name I’ll come to see often in the future.

A wizard swinging a baseball bat.

That alone seems like it could be quite fun.
