I CAN GIVE TALENTS

Chapter 391 - On A Cliff

"Oh? From your tone, it sounds like you already have a target in mind," Leyvi said, raising a brow.

Anda's lips curved into a sly smile, though her eyes narrowed slightly. "Hehe. There's this rebellious girl who's been acting rather suspiciously, trying to go against me behind my back several times. I just don't understand why she keeps doing it even after failing repeatedly. Where's the gratitude for this kind-hearted panda who saved her life?"

"Are you talking about that Seraphina girl?" Leyvi asked. "Hmm... she's definitely the kind of young lady I don't like. She has that same arrogance as Dorin, but at least Dorin never acted ungrateful after we saved her back then. Seraphina, on the other hand, if she's really scheming something behind your back, maybe we should just leave her behind when we leave the island."

Since Seraphina had been acting against Anda, bringing her along later would be too risky because she might leak the information about the Spiritual Vein to others. And since Leyvi wasn't particularly fond of killing anyone, abandoning her on the island seemed like the most reasonable solution in his eyes. At least she would still have a chance to live her life there.

Knowing Anda, however, Leyvi understood that if Seraphina still refused to repent and behave sensibly by the time they departed from the island, she would definitely take matters into her own hands and silence the girl forever to keep their secret safe.

Anda chuckled softly. "Are you suggesting that because you think I am going to kill her?" She already knew Leyvi preferred softer solutions whenever possible.

"Well... aren't you?" Leyvi exhaled, feeling the fatigue creeping in and knowing he needed a break soon.

"Usually I would," Anda replied, calm and direct. "She is too risky. But this time I have a countermeasure ready to keep her in check. I need her alive for now."

There it was again, the little villainous glint in my wife's voice, Leyvi thought, equal parts amused and worried. What is she planning this time?

"So, are you still going to kill her after that?" he asked, unable to hide his concern.

"That depends on her performance," Anda said. "You could say this is the last chance I am willing to give her."

Seraphina girl. My wife is already merciful enough. It's up to you now. Leyvi hoped Seraphina would stop digging her own grave. He didn't have any sympathy for Seraphina, he just wanted Anda to kill less if possible.

He then spotted a tall cliff in the distance and ran toward it. When he reached the base, he gathered Qi into his legs and launched himself upward with an explosive burst, carrying Anda effortlessly in his invisible hand. In the blink of an eye, they landed at the cliff's top edge.

"Fuuuhh... I'm exhausted... Anda... let's rest here for a bit... We can watch the scenery from here..." Leyvi said, lying on the ground to catch his breath while dispersing the invisible hand.

Clap clap clap!

Anda clapped her hands, smiling brightly. "Wow, you can jump so high now! This cliff is pretty tall, you know. Amazing! I wouldn't be able to jump even a tenth of what you just did."

"Hahaha! What are you getting excited about? It's just a jump. It's not like you can't scale the cliff easily with your movement technique. And we could just fly over normally if not for the flying prohibition," Leyvi said, laughing at her enthusiasm.

Ever since they came to this place, he had been hopping and leaping across difficult terrain so often that his legs had grown much stronger than before.

Many cultivators learned unique movement techniques tailored to themselves, but most shared a similar foundation. They focused on making their movements swifter, lighter, and faster while consuming as little Qi as possible. Leyvi, however, was still using the same crude and basic technique that came with his Fiery Trailblazer Martial Skills. He would gather Fiery Qi and release it explosively. It was simple, straightforward, and immensely powerful, but it consumed enormous amounts of Qi, making it the exact opposite of most refined movement techniques.

It was not that he lacked the desire to learn higher-level techniques, but whenever he expressed interest, he was told that his physique was not suitable, just as Ava and Dastan had explained. They both gave the same reason, and Leyvi gradually realized that his body had naturally developed to favor explosive power, which meant that most sophisticated movement techniques would not suit him.

Now he no longer felt the need to seek a better movement technique because the one he already used was perfectly aligned with his body and fighting style, even if it had yet to reach its full potential at his current cultivation level. Leyvi concluded that it made more sense to continue using the Fiery Trailblazer Movement Technique and refine it himself, bringing it to a higher level. After all, very few people could afford to waste Qi the way he could with his enormous reserves.

"Why can't I be excited? You have a style that is unique to you, and you looked so cool while doing it. Every move you make brims with power, and you radiate manly, masculine energy. Girls like me are fans of this, you know? And that pose you struck just before you jumped, I bet it could make the hearts of many ladies skip a beat," Anda said with a bright smile.

Leyvi, still lying on the ground, raised an eyebrow suspiciously. "Are you trying to make me strike more cool poses for your own agenda?"

Anda pouted. "I wear this panda-themed dress because you like it, so what is wrong with me wanting to see your cool poses? I enjoy it. Well, what you just said is true too, so it serves both purposes. Why not kill two birds with one stone, as they say?"

"See, I knew it was for your agenda. Hahaha!" Leyvi laughed.

Standing with her hands on her hips, Anda scrutinized Leyvi from above and shook her head. "Look at your outfit. That red jacket and jeans are all you ever wear, and only the shirt colors change sometimes. Are you really going to wear this same style for the rest of your life? How about we let Nala design a new outfit for you? We'll make it as dashing as possible," she suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Ehh, maybe not. I like this style the most. What is wrong with it? It already feels like part of my identity," Leyvi rejected.

"Hehe, I knew you would answer like that. You replied the same way last time too," Anda giggled.

Leyvi's mouth twitched. This girl really enjoys trolling her husband, doesn't she?

He then raised his body and sat on the edge of the cliff, letting his feet dangle. The morning sun was still low, casting a gentle light over the landscape.

"Where do you want to go today, Anda?" Leyvi asked.

"I already explored the island with the ladies back then. I have seen pretty much everything," Anda replied as she sat beside him, her eyes taking in the morning scenery.

"Then… is there any interesting place? Any suggestions?" Leyvi asked, his curiosity evident.

"How about we go to where that crown prince is breaking through right now? We can watch the process and learn. After all, sooner or later we will have to reach the Nascent Soul Realm too. Since he is the crown prince of a kingdom, he probably has the most ideal method for this. We might not get a chance like this again. How about it? I won't be able to spy on him myself, but you can," Anda suggested, her tone light but persuasive.

"Won't this disturb him?" Leyvi hesitated. To be honest, he was curious as well. With his abnormal core, he felt the need to investigate the breakthrough process in advance and plan carefully.

"Well, you can spy on him from far away. I doubt he will be able to sense you, so he won't be disturbed at all," Anda replied, convincing her husband with a confident smile.

"Alright. Let's go then. Do you know where the place is? Did Tamina tell you?" Leyvi stood up, ready to move.

Anda also stood and smiled. "Hehe. Tamina didn't tell me, but I have a place in mind," she said, her eyes glinting with mischief and confidence.

"How did you guess it?" Leyvi asked.

"Apparently, unlike our previous breakthroughs, where we needed dense spiritual energy around us to assist and make it easier, this time it is the opposite," Anda replied.

"Huh? The opposite?" Leyvi blinked, clearly surprised.

"Yes, the opposite. For a Nascent Soul Realm breakthrough, we do not want dense spiritual energy. We want our surroundings to be as devoid of it as possible," Anda explained patiently.

Leyvi frowned slightly, still confused. "Why don't we need spiritual energy this time?"

"Because the process of forming a Nascent Soul is essentially merging our sea of consciousness with our core into a single entity. Once the merging process has begun, any external energy that has not already been refined by our core becomes a hindrance, making the process much more difficult," she elaborated.

"I see… no wonder," Leyvi said, nodding thoughtfully.
