I Can Assimilate Everything

Chapter 466: I Am! II

The Liberating Assimilator, The Elder Nar'Thyss Constellation.

The distinction settled into Achilles's transformed consciousness like a crown that had always belonged there, waiting for its rightful bearer to claim it!

In this unique state where he felt less like a being and more like a concept that had chosen to observe itself…waves of information began flowing through him with the gentle inevitability of tides reshaping coastlines.

HUUM!

The first wave arrived with almost apologetic simplicity.

As the first of your kind, your standing and boon are unblemished, with nobody coming before you being capable of attaining the same level of control and power.

…!

The Inherent Exclusive Ability, Narrative Oversight, has been elevated to Constellation's Narrative Oversight.

What had been perception became even grander within defined parameters. The ability unfurled in his consciousness, revealing its new scope with the terror of ultimate surveillance made real.

He could now observe the Fables of anyone within an entire Star Sea…not just their current story, but the narrative threads that connected them to every other being they had influenced.

More than that, anyone he had been entangled with in any way, across any distance, through any dimension, became an open book that he could observe at will!

Their stories laid bare, their dramatic moments catalogued, their narrative weight measured and understood!

The farmer in Neon whose life he had saved…Achilles could see the man's entire possible narrative arc stretching forward. A daughter would be born in three years who would become a Commander.

A chance meeting with a traveling merchant would change his philosophy about cultivation. A moment of cowardice in seven years would define his relationship with heroism forever after. All of it visible, readable, as clear as text on a page!

The Inherent Exclusive Ability, Fable Redirection, has been elevated to Constellation's Dream.

The second elevation transformed subtle influence into direct intervention.

No longer would he need to arrange coincidences or place objects with careful precision.

Now he could send down a Constellation Dream Body…a projection of himself as real as dream and as powerful as nightmare, into any ongoing fable he wished to steer.

He could walk through their stories, speak to the characters directly, become the mysterious figure who appeared at crucial moments to deliver wisdom, warnings, or weapons…he could exert his power freely!

He was no longer editing from outside but becoming part of the narrative himself, a recurring character in stories whose authors didn't know they weren't writing alone!

Then came the new abilities, each one more terrifying than the last.

Constellation's Judgment: Three times per solar day, you may mark a being whose Fable has reached a conclusion you deem unworthy. Your Constellation Body will manifest within their Stellar Domain, that private space where their consciousness believes itself safe, and devour their narrative completely. Their story doesn't simply end; it is consumed, erased from the ongoing anthology of existence. Their power, their accumulated narrative weight, their very meaning becomes yours to assimilate. They become less than forgotten…they become never-were, existing only as sustenance for your expanding story.

…!

The ability's description continued, each word adding layers of existential horror.

It wasn't death.

Because death was an ending that still acknowledged you had existed!

This was complete narrative consumption, being written out of reality's story so thoroughly that even the plot holes your absence created would heal over.

It was fucking terrifying as even Achilles had to pause when he read this!

And there was still one more.

Constellation's Curse: Enact a narrative curse upon those who have earned your displeasure. Their fate turns sour, their destiny becomes tragedy, their luck transforms into its opposite. Every positive weaving in their existence begins to unravel not all at once, but with the slow inevitability of a story turning dark. Love becomes betrayal, triumph becomes hollow victory, hope becomes the prelude to despair. The curse is not magic but narrative weight, existence itself conspiring to ensure their story ends in ruins. The more they struggle against it, the more dramatic their fall becomes, feeding you narrative energy through their suffering.

…!

Achilles absorbed these abilities with the calculated analysis of someone reading ofbweapons of mass destruction!

Each one was horrifying in its implications, not because of the raw power involved…he had commanded stellar forces and broken time itself, but because of their fundamental nature.

These weren't abilities that destroyed bodies or shattered planets!

These were tools that attacked the very concept of meaning, that could unmake not just what someone was but what they meant!

The terrifying realization settled into his consciousness: this was far, far different from a Regulation.

The Regulations he had assimilated, Spatial Tension, Quantum, Inevitable Entropy- were fundamental forces that reality operated by.

They were the physics of existence, the rules that governed how things worked.

But the Existential Authority of Fables was something else entirely!

It didn't govern how reality worked; it governed what reality meant.

It was the difference between being able to manipulate the stage and being able to rewrite the play being performed upon it.

His enemies… should be fearful indeed.

Even he felt a sense of foreign fear from himself!

With these abilities, he could identify every Nar'Thyss by reading their narratives, understanding their stories.

He could insert himself into their carefully crafted Fables as an unexpected character they couldn't write out.

He could devour those weak enough to be consumed, turning their own narrative power against them!

And for those too strong for direct consumption, he could curse their stories, watching them struggle against increasingly tragic circumstances that would eventually break them down into consumable fragments.

Combined with his ability to assimilate more of the Regulations…and his Existence Corruption Value had been reset to zero, meaning he could handle tremendous amounts of additional power…he only needed time to achieve results that would reshape the entire scope of existence of these Star Seas!

But before all that, before the grand campaigns and existential rewriting, there were people who mattered.

Achilles turned his vast perception downward, toward his Sea of Thalassara where his father and Rose were still gazing around, their faces carrying the kind of panic that came from losing someone to transformation they did not understand!
