I Become Sect master In Another World

Chapter 85: Head To Grand Beast Canyon

Three days later, the morning sun rose in a blaze of gold, spilling its first light over the sprawling mountain range of the Sanatan Flame Sect. Mist clung to the valleys, curling like silver serpents, while the sect halls glowed with a faint reddish hue, as though kissed by flame. The entire sect bustled with life and excitement, a sea of crimson-robed disciples gathering in neat rows. Today was the day—the chosen hundred would embark on a journey to the Grand Beast Canyon, where the opening of the ancient Secret Realm awaited.

The air was thick with energy, a mixture of awe, nervous anticipation, and the fiery pride of belonging to the Sanatan Flame Sect. At the front stood the one hundred chosen disciples, their faces gleaming with excitement, some with clenched fists trembling in eagerness, others with eyes sharp with determination. The elders present—Elder Wan, Elder Liya, Elder Feng Yu, and Elder Lin Shu—stood beside them, radiating steady auras of power. Behind, the rest of the disciples remained within the sect, entrusted to Elder Wu and Elder Jiang, who would guard and maintain order in their absence.

Above, the skies parted with a low hum, and the Dark Pearl Ship emerged from the clouds like a leviathan of shadow. Its obsidian surface shimmered faintly with runes, dark light rippling across its hull like waves of night. The massive vessel floated silently in the air, dominating the horizon as it descended toward the sect platform.

The chosen disciples' eyes widened, some gasping softly at the sight of the legendary ship, others clenching their jaws in excitement. Leading them were Wang Tian and Luo Chen, their postures straight, their expressions brimming with confidence.

The one hundred chosen disciples shouted with pride as they ascended the stairs, boarding the vessel that would carry them to destiny. Below, the remaining disciples waved their hands, voices echoing with cheers that rang through the mountains:

"Good luck!"

"Bring glory to the Sanatan Flame Sect!"

"Return victorious!"

The voices carried like thunder, filling the departing disciples' hearts with fire.

Elder Feng Yu arrived last among the elders, his presence steady yet calm. Cheng Fang stepped forward immediately, bowing low.

"Elder Feng Yu," he greeted with respect.

The elder gave a small nod, his gaze sharp yet kind. Turning to him, Elder Feng Yu spoke with a quiet authority.

> "It will be a long journey. You will not be able to fully practice your sword techniques on this ship, but you can still refine your basics and deepen your understanding of swordsmanship."

Cheng Fang's eyes lit with determination as he nodded firmly. "Yes, Elder!"

With that, he followed Elder Feng Yu, who began guiding him through sword principles, his calm voice weaving into the faint hum of the Dark Pearl's runes.

Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the ship, Wang Tian and Luo Chen leaned against the smooth black wall of the vessel. Wang Tian conversed cheerfully with Muo Qian, while Luo Chen spoke in low tones with Su Quan. Their laughter carried lightly in the breeze, the warmth of budding companionship surrounding them.

From a short distance away, the Single Mingle Gang—Zong Bu, Lee Bie, and Xiao Rui—watched with annoyed expressions, arms crossed and mouths twisted in displeasure.

"Tsch," Zong Bu muttered under his breath, glaring at the scene. "Now we're on a big trip with these lovebirds."

Lee Bie dramatically wiped imaginary tears from his face and groaned. "How am I supposed to handle them?"

Xiao Rui sat cross-legged, his expression deadpan. "I can't. I already know my mind is going to explode during this trip. I just want to enter the Secret Realm and beat anyone who dares stand in our way."

A devilish grin spread across Zong Bu's lips as he cracked his knuckles. "Yeah…"

"Me too…" Lee Bie added with the same wicked smirk.

The three of them exchanged glances, their mischievous energy feeding off one another. Then their gazes shifted toward Cheng Fang, who was diligently training under Elder Feng Yu's watchful eyes.

Lee Bie tilted his head. "He's working hard."

Zong Bu laughed, a low sound full of amusement. "Of course. He's doubled his training ever since Xu Ran proposed to him."

Xiao Rui's eyes widened, then he sighed dramatically. "If a girl like Xu Ran proposed to me, I'd double, no—triple—my training too."

The other two nodded in agreement, grinning knowingly.

Moments later, a ripple of spiritual energy stirred the air as Elder Liya descended gracefully onto the Dark Pearl, her hand gently entwined with Elder Wan's. The sight immediately drew attention.

Wang Tian's eyes snapped toward them. His expression hardened, his gaze narrowing like a hawk's.

Luo Chen, ever quick to tease, clapped a hand onto his shoulder. "Oh… seems like someone's getting angry. Protective brother mode—activated."

Wang Tian stiffened, caught off guard. He turned his head sharply, scoffing. "Tsch… what nonsense are you saying? I don't care."

Luo Chen sighed, shaking his head. "Relax, dude. First—Elder Wan is a good person. Second—he's our elder. Third—he's more powerful than us. So even if you wanted to, there's nothing you could do."

Wang Tian's face twisted with irritation. Without warning, he swung a quick uppercut, sending Luo Chen stumbling back with a yelp.

"Shut up!"

Su Quan shook her head, sighing softly. "Honestly…"

Muo Qian laughed and placed a teasing hand on Su Quan's shoulder. "See? This is what happens when you get involved."

Nearby, Elder Wan and Elder Liya stood side by side, quietly conversing as they observed the sect below. Their gazes softened when they spotted Lin Shu, who stood on the sect platform. Lin Shu looked up, eyes locking onto Elder Liya. With a warm smile, Liya raised her hand in greeting.

Lin Shu returned the gesture with a smile, then ascended gracefully, descending onto the Dark Pearl. The two women high-fived lightly, their bond apparent.

Glancing around, Lin Shu remarked with a smirk, "Seems like I'm the last."

Elder Wan shook his head. "No… the Sect Master has not arrived yet."

Lin Shu laughed knowingly. "He doesn't count. Everyone knows he'll make a dramatic entrance at the end."

Elder Liya nodded with a small smile.

Just then, a single cherry blossom leaf drifted from the sky, landing softly on Lin Shu's nose. Her eyes widened in surprise as she plucked it away, tilting her head upward. The heavens suddenly shimmered with color as countless cherry blossom leaves began to fall, blanketing the sky in a storm of pink petals.

The disciples gasped in awe, their voices rising in excitement. Many reached up eagerly, grasping at the falling leaves as though catching fragments of beauty itself.

Lin Shu's smile turned awkward. "Please… it's not what I'm thinking."

But the phenomenon only intensified. The disciples remaining below in the sect also turned toward the skies, their faces filled with awe as the petals cascaded like rain.

Suddenly, the leaves swirled violently, forming a spiraling tornado of blossoms that descended upon the sect's main hall. Elders and disciples alike turned in shock, their eyes wide as the storm of petals thickened.

Lin Shu's face paled slightly, and she shook her head. "Not again…"

The vortex of blossoms tightened, obscuring the main hall completely, until at last, a figure emerged within the swirling petals. Hands tucked casually into his pockets, he stepped forward.

The storm dispersed, and the figure stood revealed—Shaurya.

Gasps erupted. Mouths fell open. Eyes widened in disbelief.

Lin Shu blinked rapidly, her expression caught between exasperation and amazement.

Shaurya's new appearance gleamed under the morning sun. His dark hair was styled in a sharp one-comma Korean cut, framing his striking features. He wore black robes and pants paired with sleek martial boots, a white inner robe beneath, and a light blue outer robe draped like a flowing overcoat, tied with a black belt. At his waist rested the Meteorite Sword, no longer hidden in storage but sheathed in a polished blue scabbard that gleamed faintly with sword intent.

His hands remained tucked in his pockets as his familiar bright smile spread across his face.

"Shaurya!" the disciples exclaimed, bowing low in unison.

Elder Wu and Elder Jiang stepped forward, bowing deeply. "Sect Master!"

Shaurya strode past them, offering only a faint nod before turning back, his tone casual yet commanding.

"Take care of the disciples and the sect."

He raised two fingers in a light salute before leaping into the sky.

The Dark Pearl stirred, its colossal frame shifting as it began to turn. Shaurya landed effortlessly at the bow, hands still in his pockets, his robe and hair streaming wildly in the rushing wind.

The ship surged forward, cutting across the heavens at full speed, a jet of power piercing the sky. Shaurya stood tall, his gaze sweeping over his disciples, his smile widening.

"Are you all ready?"

"Yes, Master!" they shouted in unison, voices shaking the heavens.

Shaurya glanced at Lin Shu and winked playfully. She returned his smile, her eyes glinting with warmth. Then he turned back toward the horizon, his expression sharpening as the Dark Pearl ascended higher and faster, streaking across the endless sky.

Days passed as the Dark Pearl traversed mountain ranges and oceans, never stopping, its runes glowing with endless power. Finally, after a week and a half, as the sun began to sink into the horizon, Shaurya stepped out from his cabin, stretching and yawning casually.

But the sight before him froze him in place.

The Grand Beast Canyon spread out across the horizon, an endless chasm carved by time itself. Towering mountain peaks ringed the abyss, their jagged silhouettes painted in crimson and gold by the setting sun. A thick, swirling mist filled the canyon, glowing faintly with an unusual energy—an omen that the Secret Realm would soon awaken.

The disciples gathered at the edge of the ship, eyes wide in awe.

But the moment of peace was shattered by a thunderous screech. From the clouds above, a massive bird emerged, its wings spanning over twelve feet. Its body was armored in jagged blue rock, and its crimson beak gleamed like a sword, serrated with teeth. Dozens more of the creatures followed, bursting from the mist with predatory cries as they dove toward the Dark Pearl.

Shaurya only grinned. Raising his hand, he snapped his fingers.

Crimson flames erupted from the ship, a blazing inferno that tore through the sky. From within the flames, a majestic phoenix emerged—Blazejet, one of the guardian beasts of the Sanatan Flame Sect. Its wings spread wide, setting the heavens alight, its cry splitting the air like divine thunder.

The rock-armored birds froze mid-flight, their bodies trembling in terror. With terrified screeches, they turned, retreating into the clouds at lightning speed.

Shaurya laughed heartily. "What happened… you cowardly birds? Hahahaha!"

With a flicker, Blazejet shrank into the form of a tiny crimson sparrow, landing gracefully on Shaurya's shoulder. He tickled its neck affectionately before it took flight once more, vanishing into the sky.

Lin Shu tilted her head. "You brought the guardian beast with you?"

Shaurya smirked. "Yes and no. They remain in the sect, but I can summon them whenever I want."

Before the disciples could react, Elder Wan pointed toward the ground. "Look. It seems we are not the first to arrive."

Shaurya scoffed, his voice carrying amusement. "Of course… heroes always arrive last."

Below, sprawling camps of rival sects and clans filled the plains surrounding the canyon. Among them, the banners of the Jade Phoenix Sect fluttered proudly.

Elder Liya folded her arms, her eyes narrowing. "How did they get here first?"

Shaurya's smile sharpened. "They are the second strongest sect in our kingdom. Naturally, they have their own methods."

Lin Shu frowned. "They will surely try to get revenge for their humiliation."

Shaurya's laugh was fearless, ringing in the wind. "Let them come. I'll show them their place."

His gaze swept across the encampments—sects, clans, and even figures from the Royal Palace itself.

"This…" he whispered to himself, his eyes gleaming, "…is going to be very interesting."

Suddenly, the ground below trembled violently, the wind twisting into a storm. All eyes turned upward in shock.

The Dark Pearl descended, its aura pressing down upon the land like the will of heaven itself. The sect's great flag unfurled against the storm, a vast orange banner emblazoned with a golden chakra, burning in the winds like a second sun.

Sect Leader Liu Xiang of the Jade Phoenix Sect clenched his fists, his face twisting with fury at the sight. All around, cultivators from the Blood Sabre Sect, Moonlight Pavilion, and the Royal Palace looked on with grim expressions.

Hidden behind a boulder, a lone cultivator in black robes watched silently, his face concealed. His presence radiated danger, though none noticed him yet.

The Dark Pearl landed with a thunderous crash, the ground cracking beneath its weight. Dust erupted, swirling into the air.

When it cleared, the Sanatan Flame Sect stood in formation, fearless, egos blazing, confidence unshaken.

At the front, Shaurya stood on the bow, hands still in his pockets, his bright smile unfading. He leaned forward slightly, raising his right hand.

"Let the fun begin."

With a snap of his fingers, golden light burst from the Dark Pearl, illuminating the battlefield as the sect descended in perfect synchrony, landing in style as the earth cracked beneath them.

The air froze. A storm of power brewed. And all eyes turned toward them.
