Chapter 39.1
Stage 2-8. There’s No Way A Guy Like Me Could Win!!
“Hey, Ouga… why don’t we join the student council together…?”
“Ouga-kun… I want to spend more time with you from morning to after school.”
Karen and Mashiro were slowly closing in on me from both sides.
D-don’t come any closer…!
I don’t want to be dragged into this hellhole of a workplace…!
But my desperate thoughts didn’t reach them, and they grabbed my arms.
As if to say they’d never let go, my arms were trapped between their soft mounds.
It’s the kind of supreme situation I’ve always dreamed of, surrounded by big-breasted beauties, but there’s no joy in it.
“You’re quite popular, Ouga-kun.”
How did it come to this?!?
To explain the situation, we’d have to rewind the clock to this morning.
◇◇◇◇◇
“Good morning.”
“…Ah, morning.”
She’s close. Every morning when I open my eyes, Alice’s face is way too close, and it freaks me out.
I don’t think she needs to be this close… but, well, I guess there are some perks to seeing a beauty first thing in the morning.
…But more importantly.
“…Did something happen, Alice? You’re up earlier than usual.”
I’ve always lived a disciplined life since childhood to promote my physical growth.
That’s why I immediately notice anything that feels off in my usual routine.
“I apologize. There is something I must tell you as soon as possible, so I took the liberty of waking you.”
“No problem. What’s so important?”
“Please look at this.”
“Hm? What’s this? A letter…? No, it’s not.”
A visibly uneasy Alice handed me a piece of paper.
What could it be, so early in the morning…?
“…What?”
After reading the contents, I unconsciously crumpled it in my hand.
‘Certificate of Appointment: To Mr. Ouga Vellet’
‘We hereby appoint you as the Vice President of the Rishburg Magic Academy Student Council.’
‘Signed: Rishburg Magic Academy Principal, Frone Milfonty.’
“…Alice. Did I get drunk last night and agree to join the student council or something?”
“No, nothing of the sort.”
“Then, what do you make of this situation?”
“I believe… Principal Milfonty made a unilateral decision, convinced of your resolve.”
“…That seems to be the only explanation.”
What the hell is she doing… that old hag…!!
“Alice! Training can wait for today! Get my clothes ready!”
“Yes, sir!!”
Predicting my actions, Alice had already prepared my uniform and swiftly helped me get dressed.
Without wasting another second after hearing Alice’s words, I rushed out of my room and jumped out the window to exit the dorm.
“Follow me, Alice! We’re going to confront the principal!”
“As you command!”
I ran down the still-empty path to the academy, making my way to the principal’s office.
“Principal Milfonty!! You better explain what the hell this is!!”
There’s no way I’m letting her get away with this.
I slammed the door open, but inside wasn’t the principal I was looking for—
“Oh my, Ouga-kun. What’s got you so worked up?”
—It was her apprentice, Reina.
“I’ve got some business with your teacher, Reina.”
“Well, it seems we have the same agenda, then.”
She said this while showing me a piece of paper.
It said that she’d been asked to keep an eye on me since I was now part of the student council.
“Reina. This all just happened yesterday. I never agreed to join the student council.”
“I understand your stance quite well, Ouga-kun. This is without a doubt one of my teacher’s reckless decisions.”
And then she added:
“By the way, it seems the principal is no longer on campus.”
“…What?”
“Please, calm down, Ouga-kun.”
I couldn’t process everything that was happening so quickly.
Yet Reina continued in her calm, quiet voice.
“I understand your feelings, and I will do my best to accommodate them. But… shouldn’t you at least hear what they have to say?”
“They?”
