I Became the Progenitor Vampire

Chapter 441: Lide in Seclusion, Aim: Legendary (8800 words)

Lide left the Naga leader and the terrifying knight representing the Dark Sovereign to discuss the details of how to conquer the other Abyss Planes.

When he returned alone to the Transmission Array, he saw that most of the Dawn Army had already been teleported out, and they were now looking around curiously, sizing up the legendary Abyss.

"Is this the Abyss? Why do I feel like someone is always talking in my ear?"

"Fool, that's the evil language emitted by the will of the Abyss. Focus your mind and don't get easily distracted."

"Are these demons? Hiss, their aura is so evil..."

"Will we rule this land in the future?"

The warriors, who were discussing, immediately saluted upon seeing Lide's figure.

"Your Highness..."

Lide nodded slightly. The group of warriors dispatched to reform the Chaotic Army were all officers above level 10, and each was equipped with elite equipment forged by Dwarves, making their personal combat abilities truly formidable.

In the Abyss, strength ruled all. To reform the Chaotic Army, one must possess the power to suppress demons.

"Your Highness, Anthony sends his regards." At this moment, a figure with a gallant stature, holding a Cross Longsword, stepped forward from the crowd.

The owner of a Legendary profession, commander of the Fearless Army—Anthony.

Anthony was also the officer in charge of leading the team to reorganize the Chaotic Army.

Seeing Anthony, Lide's eyes brightened. He felt the aura of this warrior, who possessed a Legendary profession, had significantly transformed since the last time they met.

Subconsciously, he opened the other's attribute panel, and the large figure of Level 19 appeared before his eyes.

Level 19?

Lide contemplated for a moment. A Legendary profession was truly not so simple. It seemed like last time, Anthony's level 15 had not fully activated this profession, and it wouldn't be long before he could become Extraordinary.

Feeling somewhat satisfied, Anthony was entirely a warrior raised by Dawn City and the most loyal. Although the professional heritage he received was by another chance, it didn't change the fact that he was fighting for Dawn.

"Anthony, the Chaotic Army has a total of 650,000 troops, of which only the Naga Army belongs to the Order Evil Camp. The other demons are from the Chaotic Evil. To find a suitable method for reorganization, the Naga Army must be utilized well.

Furthermore, besides the two Extraordinary Demons that I will take with me, the other three Extraordinary will coordinate with your actions."

As the military commander, Anthony's responsibilities were certainly immense, and Lide was well aware of this.

The Chaotic Army was too disordered and not suited for the refined command and combat of Dawn City. If an appropriate method of exploration couldn't be found, then the subsequent plans to invade the Abyss would undoubtedly face great obstacles.

"I won't say much more, I trust that the Intelligence Command Center and the Think Tank will provide you with sufficient advice."

Anthony looked at Lide, his eyes filled with encouragement, and a wave of passion surged through his mind, stirring an immense excitement within him.

Although he had obtained a Legendary profession and reached level 19, as one of the first Dawn citizens who had grown up with Dawn City, his loyalty and adoration for Lide had already reached full capacity.

The man before him was the great being who had personally established Dawn City, tamed the Centaurs, conquered Dwarf Valley, pioneered the Underworld, and vanquished the Ancient Evil God of Risier City. Every achievement was awe-inspiring, and now he had even breached into the Abyss – how formidable was that?

"Your Highness, Anthony will swear to his death to defend the glory of Dawn!"

"Your glory shall scatter across the Abyss!"

His tone was resolute, and his gaze determined.

"For Dawn!"

Lide, hearing this, looked deeply at Anthony and solemnly said, "For Dawn!"

The surrounding warriors, overhearing the conversation, also felt their emotions surge, extremely excited. They followed suit and chanted the motto that had become a symbol of their struggle, and a spiritual and ideological anchor.

"For Dawn!"

For a moment, the army's morale surged.

Lide heard the fanatic chant, his gaze sweeping around, catching sight of each determined soldier.

His mood instantly improved a bit.

These were the warriors of Dawn, everyone ready to fight for him.

The army's spirit had congealed, this legion would surely become the sharp blade he wielded to cut through all obstacles.

As Lide was about to give a few more instructions, an extremely excited voice came from nearby.

"Your Majesty, this is truly magnificent, the Abyss, this is actually the Abyss!

Oh Goddess above, I never thought I'd one day set foot in this bottomless Abyss, to explore this land of evil recorded in countless ancient tomes!!!"

Hearing this somewhat sharp tone, Lide's eyelids twitched, wondering who this was?

Turning his head, he immediately saw the figure of the white-haired old man, the head of the Dawn Academy, an elder of the Risier family, the polymath—Horn Risier.

The man's face was as radiant as if he had just captured the heart of the girl he admired, intoxicated by his adoration of everything around him.

"The Abyss, for every scholar who seeks to uncover the secrets of the world, this is the place they most desire to set foot in.

I never thought I'd obtain such a precious opportunity before I die, praise be to you, my lord~ Your greatness is enough to make all the wandering poets of the Glory Main Plane sing praises for a million years!!"

Lide could not help but feel amused; was this exaggeration really necessary?

As Horn approached, Lide solemnly advised him,

"Horn, I'm entrusting you with leading this expedition. I need to know everything about this plane.

The mineral reserves, the number of species, the corrupting influence of the abyss's unconscious emissions on the human body, and so on."

"Yes, Your Majesty, it's my honor... I shall establish a new institute within Dawn Academy to specifically study the Abyss!"

Horn was still caught in the excitement of entering the Abyss, even a strangely shaped stone on the ground held him in a forgetful daze.

Every polymath, after reading countless texts, would be curious about the Abyss, a place of supreme evil torment documented by wandering poets and many ancient texts—the more dangerous a region, the more irresistible the mysteries became.

Horn, a leading polymath, was no exception.

Suddenly, Lide seemed to remember something amusing.

"Horn, I met the clan leader of the Risier family, Miss Andabella, in Green City."

Unexpectedly, Horn's reaction was not as great as Lide imagined; instead, he sounded somewhat wistful,

"Your Majesty, the intelligence department informed me awhile ago, and after obtaining Mr. Harrison's consent, I wrote a letter to Bella telling her we are living contentedly, asking her not to worry about us. The channel used for sending that letter was one-time, untraceable..."

Although he too longed to see the girl he watched grow up, Horn knew that Dawn City was the best place for the Risier family now.

The Risier Family had already integrated completely with Dawn City, and following Andabella would be irresponsible for the entire family.

Lide nodded, neither approving nor disapproving.

Since Harrison had agreed, he had no more concerns; that meticulously minded second-generation Bloodline had probably done so to placate the increasingly important president of Dawn Academy.

As a polymath, Horn's vast knowledge had been invaluable, managing Dawn Academy efficiently and producing a plethora of talents for Dawn City; such merits could not be erased lightly.

Now that he had made his commitments clear, Lide thought he might soon visit Andabella—as someone familiar to her.

He hadn't forgotten the Legendary Equipment she owed him.

Thinking this, Lide felt somewhat helpless; it seemed Dawn City really had no decent equipment, as the gear he wore was all Extraordinary Equipment forged by dwarves.

Extraordinary equipment had previously met his needs, but now the situation had changed, making the Extraordinary Equipment glaringly incompatible with his status as the sovereign of the Dawn Divine Order.

This made him somewhat embarrassed every time he tried to act superior, relying entirely on the Power of Faith to persevere. Now, he desperately needed ten or so pieces of advanced-level equipment to bolster his appearance... While not mentioning Divine Artifact or Demigod Artifacts, legendary equipment should also be obtained.

After chatting with Horn, Lide no longer worried, as Dawn City had already developed an effective system. His orders had been issued, and the specifics would naturally be handled by professional people who might even do it better than him.

Having determined there were no major issues, Lide paid no more attention to the demented Horn and approached the four Extraordinary Demons.

The Abyss Half-Beast Leader, Abyss Butcher, and two Double-Horned Demon Lords.

The aura of each demon was more formidable than the last, so oppressive that the Dawn Army nearby dared not even breathe.

Among them, the Abyss Butcher stood out with his 16-foot-tall Divine Body; as a stitched monster, it also emitted the most evil aura.

The nauseating stench of decay coupled with the ceaseless murmuring of abyssal profanity was like a living nightmare for the ordinary warriors.

The Half-Beast Leader, on the other hand, was ugly, extremely ugly, the kind that made it hard to eat with just one glance.

The Double-Horned Demon Leader was somewhat tolerable, but those curved, sharp horns and fierce demon wings immediately revealed its demonic nature.

After a brief contemplation, Lide spoke slowly to the stone demon.

"Double-Horned Demon Commander, follow me to the Main Plane, while the Half-Beast Leader and the Abyss Butcher coordinate with the Dawn Army to reshape the Chaotic Army."

He had already reached an agreement with the Dark Sovereign. Given the current situation, there wouldn't be a need for so many hands soon. The Main Plane was now lacking in combat power compared to the Abyss; it might be good to bring a few to make up the numbers.

With Dawn City's current wide territory, he couldn't manage it alone.

"As commanded, Your Highness."

The Extraordinary beings promptly responded, without any disagreement.

Superiors had absolute control over their inferiors, allowing no room for other thoughts.

After confirming everything was in order, Lide approached the Space Gate that the army no longer used, stepping through escorted by the two 13-foot-tall, winged Double-Horned Demons.

Swoosh~

Their figures appeared in the Land of Bone-Burying.

He had much to do and heavy tasks ahead upon his return to the Main Plane.

The two Double-Horned Demons were sent to assist Guido Blackwind, the centaur hailed as the Child of Destiny, in the dwarven foothills.

Not conquering the hundreds of thousands of centaurs in those foothills would be a waste, yet he currently lacked the resources to handle it himself, so dispatching the two Double-Horned Demons was sufficient.

After all, Gale City, the capital of the centaurs, had only one Extraordinary Existence.

Upon arriving at the Land of Bone-Burying, the two demons were quite interested in everything around them, looking in all directions.

Lide ignored them and began to seriously ponder the next steps for developing Dawn City.

As the supreme ruler of Dawn, the sole helmsman of this massive ship, he needed to have a clear next objective.

First was the Abyss Pig-Raising Plan, which had already been decided upon and thus needed thorough preparation.

However, it wasn't necessary for him to keep an eye on it continuously; he could delegate the task and only intervene in dealings with the Dark Sovereign.

For this plan, he needed a powerful, skillful, and meticulous subordinate to execute it. Anthony, currently busy restructuring the Chaotic Army, was definitely not suitable due to his weaker strength.

After a bit of thought, Lide quickly settled on a candidate. In fact, there weren't many to choose from. There were numerous individuals at lower levels, but high-level talents were scarce.

He decided to assign Emi the task of executing the Pig-Raising Plan.

This veteran, who had spent decades in the Knight Temple, was not lacking in skill or experience and was meticulous enough. Most importantly, he had inherited a portion of the Plague God Position, making him sufficiently powerful.

Assigning him was completely feasible.

"Besides the plan to 'borrow a knife to kill a pig', the most important things at this stage also include finding pieces of the Destiny Tablet, dealing with the Divine Beings who descended into Green City, and maintaining the missionary work of the Dawn Sect...

and the most crucial one—breaking through to Legendary."

After pondering, Lide immediately identified the key issue: breaking through to Legendary.

Although there were many important matters waiting for him to handle, at the root, what mattered most was his level.

Whether it was seeking the pieces of the Destiny Tablet next or confronting the Divine Beings transformed into Saints in Green City, absolute power was necessary.

Even though being Level 24 Transcendent was already powerful, it was still insufficient against those of Divine Level.

"Let's start organizing that, have Harrison prepare; the retreat for a breakthrough to Legendary is already urgent. To survive the upcoming cataclysm, the power I currently possess is still far insufficient.

The Olden Descent is just the beginning. As time presses on, the situation will probably continue to deteriorate; now it's come to this..."

After clarifying his thoughts on how to proceed, Lide no longer hesitated, waved his hand to tear through the space, and appeared in Harrison's office with two demons.

Sensing the sudden emergence of an evil aura, Harrison, who was behind the desk handling official documents, felt a chill down his spine and stood up abruptly, his eyes filled with vigilance.

Not until Lide's figure appeared did he breathe a sigh of relief.

"Your Majesty, them?"

His gaze involuntarily drifted towards the two Double-Horned Demon Lords behind him, tall and robust as hills.

"These two are Extraordinary Demons, Blood Horn Kabar and Black Horn Kabar. I plan to send them to Dwarf Hills to assist Guido in conquering the Centaurs."

Harrison's eyes lit up upon seeing the two demons, two Extraordinaries? His mood immediately brightened.

"Yes, Your Majesty, I will arrange it shortly."

Lide nodded, turned his head to glance at the two demons.

"Once you reach Dwarf Hills, all actions must follow Guido's commands; he bears my mark of faith which you can easily recognize.

This is the Main Plane, remember, every action must follow Guido's command, you absolutely must not act on your own!"

His tone took on a hint of coldness, a terrifying pressure flashed and receded, instantly causing the two Extraordinary Demons to sweat profusely.

They hurriedly responded.

"Your Majesty, we will execute your orders with our lives!"

"Leave for now."

After the two demons left, bowing and squeezing through the door shorter than them, Lide relayed the plan of Abyss Pig Farming and 'borrowing a knife to kill a pig' to Harrison, not concealing anything about the Dark Sovereign.

After Lide finished speaking, Harrison's eyes widened as if he saw the Creator God descending, filled with disbelief.

His voice even trembled.

"Your Majesty, are you saying you reached an agreement with the newly emerged fifteenth Undead Monarch from the Undead Plane...

And you, you also plan to use the Undead Monarch to strengthen the Land of Bone-Burying..."

At this moment, the mentally resilient second-generation Bloodline was far more shocked than the last time Lide told him about enslaving hundreds of thousands of the Demon Army.

The Undead Monarch! What level of existence is that?!

Only Divine Beings with powerful Divine Power like the Master of Dawn, Sun Goddess, and War God could compare to the Undead Monarch.

Now this terrifying, brutal, murderous, bloody, dark super-villainous lord had inexplicably become allies with Lide.

Even though this ally was just a verbal agreement, it was personally spoken by the Undead Monarch.

Who else is qualified to make the Undead Monarch negotiate to become allies?

Harrison, feeling his brain wasn't quite up to the task, practically worshiped Lide at that moment to the point of bursting a blood vessel in his brain; he even absolutely believed that even if Lide loudly proclaimed himself to be the reincarnation of the Creator God, Harrison would believe him!

This matter was too exaggerated and frightening.

Lide saw Harrison's reaction but didn't show much response, and calmly said,

"No need to make a big fuss, it's just a verbal covenant.

I will have Emi handle this matter in its entirety; I don't have the time to care for these trivialities.

Next, I need to enter seclusion to break through to Legendary.

Whether it's to obtain the fragments of the Destiny Tablet from the Demigod-level sea beast in the Lost Sea or to deal with the Divine in Green City, it is essential to possess sufficient strength.

Harrison, this period is the most critical juncture, you must be careful in everything."

Upon hearing these reminders, Harrison immediately nodded and responded solemnly,

"Your Majesty, Dawn City is already prepared for any crisis.

I firmly believe that under your leadership, whether the ancient days return or doomsday strikes, Dawn City will definitely become an eternal presence that cannot be overlooked, becoming the mountain-top city that all look up to!"

These words were a genuine expression from Harrison; he firmly believed that no matter what they faced, as long as Lide was there, he could lead Dawn City to glory.

Even if it meant opposing the entire world, he still firmly believed that Dawn City would be the ultimate victor because their ruler was Lide.

This near-blind confidence was the result of the victories Lide had achieved time and again through external campaigns. It was also a result of the rapid development of Dawn City.

Even the residents of the entire Dawn City had this kind of confidence in Lide.

Some people are born superiors, rulers filled with personal charisma, and sovereigns worshiped by all.

Lide, seeing the fervor in Harrison's eyes, couldn't help but smile wryly and didn't say much, simply waving his hand and passing directly through the space gate to leave the office.

Harrison, upon Lide's departure, regained his senses after a moment of contemplation, and immediately arranged for the two Extraordinary Demons waiting outside to head towards the Dwarf Hills.

Guido was currently battling the Fierce Half-Ratman with his Centaurs and desperately needed support; these two Extraordinary arrivals were just in time.

The Dawn Mage Tower, a cluster of buildings consisting of eight colorful auxiliary towers and one black main tower, had long changed with time.

At the moment, this area is definitely the most respected and coveted part of Dawn City.

For here, all the mage lords of Dawn City resided.

Even the great personage of the Holy Light Bloodline was also here to research and teach magic.

Although currently the number of mages in the Dawn Mage Tower dedicated to lifestyle magic far outnumbered those adept in combat magic, it was the everyday magic that could actually help improve the standard of living for ordinary residents.

Hence, the proliferation of lifestyle mages did not diminish the allure of magic but instead caused the status of mage lords to steadily rise.

As long as one was a spell caster, even someone using Mage's Hand to sweep the streets could command respect.

After all, they were using magic.

And because of Lide's emphasis on mages, now regardless of who, as long as one had some casting talent, good or bad, the Dawn Mage Tower would accept them.

This had led to the number of spellcasters in the entire Dawn City exceeding 3,000, not even counting the Bloodline.

3,000 spellcasters, what an astonishing figure!

The whole of Dawn City's human population was only around 160,000; including other races, it barely reached 240,000.

Every 70 people included one spellcaster, a ratio that would be startling to disclose.

With such a background, Dawn City's research on magic was continuously deepening, and the variety of industrial products combining with magic became ever more flourishing.

Alchemy Automatic Harvester, Automatic Seeder, and even Magic Water Pump and Magic Track Car—the city's power supply and heating systems, all depended on the involvement of magic.

One could say that it was because of Lide's forward-thinking strategy several years ago, where he heavily invested in training mages despite the initial lack of visible returns, that led to the flourishing of magic in Dawn City.

Swish~

Lide's figure stepped out from the Space Gate, appearing at the entrance of the mage tower in Dawn City.

Only from the Black Stone auxiliary tower right in front could one enter the cluster of mage towers; all other areas were encapsulated by magic shields, which even Transcendents had to expend significant energy to break through.

Upon seeing Lide's figure, the surrounding mage apprentices greeted him excitedly, some of the believers even blushing with excitement, as if they were about to cry.

As Lide's responsibilities grew, many residents and believers hadn't seen him for over a year.

Seeing this, Lide felt somewhat helpless—he knew walking around Dawn City would definitely cause a huge stir, and not wanting to draw too much attention, he merely smiled slightly, nodding his head in acknowledgment before stepping into the mage tower.

Inside, the main tower was surrounded circularly by eight auxiliary towers, each spaced a couple hundred blades apart, providing a spacious area in the middle for mages to relax and move around.

At this moment, the Dawn Mage Tower had undergone significant changes.

Exquisite artificial hills, beautiful fish ponds, lifelike sculptures...

Everywhere was covered with lush green vegetation; meticulously cultured flower beds emitted strong magic fluctuations, with all sorts of precious magical plants visible at a glance.

A faint mist lingered above the plants, with numerous magic arrays solidified in many places, displaying rainbows under the effects of magic.

It was indeed spectacular.

This truly lived up to the residents' nickname for the Dawn Mage Tower—Rainbow Mage Tower.

Pleased with the sight, Lide felt truly satisfied. This was indeed a magical holy land.

Not paying much attention to the other mages greeting him, he directly proceeded to the main tower.

Emi, having been aware of Lide's entry into the Dawn Mage Tower from the moment he stepped in, came down from the upper levels of the mage tower to greet him excitedly.

"Good day, Your Grace..."

Emi hadn't seen Lide for several months now and was quite delighted.

"I heard you conquered an Abyss Plane and enslaved hundreds of thousands of troops!

It's really astonishing—just unfortunate that I couldn't join you in entering the Abyss."

Lide smiled slightly, found a random stool to sit down in the mage tower, comfortably stretched, and then spoke softly.

"Emi, how is your research on the Plague God position coming along?"

He had high hopes for the Plague God position and had discussed its developmental direction in detail with Emi.

The plague was not merely for spreading viruses; researching it to enhance the physical bodies could be even more effective.

Upon hearing Lide ask about it, Emi's face broke into an excited smile.

"Your Grace, following your ideas, I have developed a sort of demonized plague that greatly enhances the constitution and strength of those infected, even doubling their power."

Oh?

Lide immediately perked up.

"Does this plague have any racial restrictions? What are the side effects?"

"It currently only applies to Beastmen, as their unique bloodline helps increase their survival rate."

Emi started explaining, though his tone then slightly dropped.

"But the side effects are noticeable. As the demonized plague suggests, it turns those afflicted into chaotic and evil beings, much like demons.

Although they gained strength, they would quickly demonize, completely uncontrollable, and even start a killing spree against those close to them immediately.

Lide, however, did not feel disappointed but became even more interested instead.

"How is the production of these plagues? Can they be manufactured on a large scale?"

"Of course, to cultivate the plague, we just need enough decaying corpses and Magic Crystal Stones—it can be produced on a large scale at any time.

However, the demonized plague currently only affects beings below Level 9; it fails on anyone Level 10 or above, as their Bloodline is too strong."

"Emi, continue researching this type of plague."

Lide wasn't disappointed at all. It had only been a few months, and Emi had already developed an initial plague, which meant his idea was completely feasible.

They just needed to enhance the positive effects and reduce the side effects, then it could be directly applied to his own army.

Doubling the strength of all warriors—the effect was simply thrilling.

His eyes gleamed slightly, "Emi, you will become in charge of a mission concerning the Abyss, and you'll have ample time to stay there.

Abyss Demons can be your specimens and research subjects; you can use any means to study those evil beings."

Lide's attitude towards demons was always quite indifferent; those chaotic evil beings didn't deserve to be treated as normal life—they lacked kindness and innocence; they only varied in the extent of their sins.

"Research demons?"

Emi immediately became interested; his experimental subjects during this period mostly comprised death row inmates, Evil God believers, and Dark Worshipers obtained from the outside, while he strictly adhered to regulations regarding ordinary humans and the residents of Dawn, infringing on no one.

Thus, his research subjects weren't numerous.

But demons clearly made excellent subjects, their physical conditions vastly stronger than the lives on the Main Plane.

Lide nodded.

"Yes.

But the most important task for you is the Abyss pig farming plan..."

He then repeated the plan to use the demons to their advantage to Emi.

The madness and ingenious design of the plan thoroughly impressed Emi.

His eyes sparkled with excitement.

However, after Lide finished, Emi noticed a point Lide had seemingly overlooked previously.

"Your Majesty, the gods of the Main Plane have fallen to mortal status, and even entities as powerful as the Master of Dawn and the Sun Goddess have lost contact... Why do the Undead Plane and the Abyss's Evil Gods still maintain their powerful strength?"

Emi's question left Lide slightly stunned, immediately furrowing his brows.

Until then, he had taken for granted that the Abyss and Undead Plane should be special, but now, questioned by Emi, he realized he might have overlooked something...

"Are you saying?"

Emi nodded solemnly, "The Undead Plane and the Abyss undoubtedly conceal some deeper secrets.

We need to be careful when exploring."

Lide nodded slightly, thoughtfully, "Alright, I'll keep that in mind.

I'll figure it out when we have the chance."

Could it be that the reason Evil Gods have not lost their power is related to shards of the Destiny Tablet?

He then shook his head; these secrets were too profound, beyond his current capacity to investigate. Dawn City's grip on such information was woefully insufficient, and the intelligence agencies struggled to collect secrets of this level.

However, he could inquire about such information from the mermaid guarding the Destiny Tablet. Also, the next time he dealt with the Dark Sovereign, he could probe into the matter.

Lide's contemplative expression made Emi nod without saying more.

With Lide's intelligence, there was no need for him to be verbose. Sometimes, however, being too high-level could make one overlook things that were plainly in sight, the proverbial darkness under the lamplight.

Lide had come to Emi for these two things, to have him carry out the strategy of using others to eliminate enemies and to inquire about the progress of the plague research. After giving his instructions, he delegated most of his authority over the Land of Bone-Burying to Emi.

The key to the Abyssal strategy of using others to eliminate enemies was in the Land of Bone-Burying, and since he was about to seclude himself to break through to legendary, he naturally couldn't oversee this matter in person.

Having made all arrangements, Lide returned to the Land of Bone-Burying. As for why the Evil God hadn't lost power, he couldn't be bothered to think about it now. The most important thing at this moment was to level up.

Feeling the power of the entire plane converging upon him, Lide's aura was like a monstrous tidal wave in a Category 18 storm, lifting millions of tons of seawater, making everything around him tremble under this force.

At that moment, the true form of the Bloodline appeared instantaneously, the golden Ancestor Bloodline, activated.

The terrifying Power of Crimson burst forth like erupting magma, engulfing him in a layer of fierce flames.

At this moment, the Cow Bone Undead beside the twelfth layer of the White Bone Altar sensed the terrifying aura and immediately felt afraid to approach him.

Lide's body was filled with a tyrannical energy, like a volcano that might erupt at any moment.

Extremely dangerous.

However, Lide didn't feel this way at all. Letting loose, he entered a different state.

Powerful.

It seemed as though a casual swing of his fist could shatter the void.

After taking two deep breaths, Lide stepped forward and vanished into thin air.

The next second, at the deepest part of the core of the Land of Bone-Burying, a ten-blade-radius space was swiftly carved out, the surrounding bones pushed aside by the force of the space.

Lide appeared at the core, five thousand blades deep.

With a wave of his hand, the five-blade-long body of the Snake Clan God and that pile of over two hundred Divine Stones appeared beside him.

All of these would serve as nourishment for his breakthrough to legendary status.

The last time he consumed the Divine Status of the God of Twilight, Lide could have stepped into legendary, but for the sake of longer-term development, he had forcefully suppressed the impulse to break through.

However, as time passed, and after the Ancient Descent, the situation gradually spiraled out of control, and Dawn City faced increasing risks.

Fragments of the Destiny Tablet, the Divine of Green City, and his relentless arch-enemy, the Ancient Evil God—the God of Plague—all of these required him to possess tremendous power to handle.

Legendary, was a transformation.

Stepping into this realm would grant him an unprecedented boost, and the Divine would be just a step away.

With crimson eyes, Lide gazed at the ferocious body of the Snake Clan God and slowly sat down cross-legged.

The Power of Crimson, like Hellish Demon Flames burning on his body, spread out, directly enveloping the Divine Body.

The surrounding silver Divine Stones also began to slowly release special energy under the swirl of the Power of Crimson.

Lide's process of breaking through to legendary had begun. The next time he emerged from seclusion, he would surely step into a new level.

And Dawn City, under his leadership, would also step onto a larger stage, facing more challenges.

The Abyss Evil God, the Undead Monarch, the rulers of the old days, the Destiny Tablet, the Saints...

All of this, for the sake of Dawn.
