Brian went after the individual as they made their way to the school hall. "by the way what's your name I didn't get the chance to ask you that?" , Brian replied. "I'm Benjamin you can call me Ben" . Brian stutter-laughs. While clearing his throat, he said, "Okay what a nice name."

Unheard voice of Brian: (This is getting too uncomfortable.Can she not see that I'm trying to start a conversation here). They reached the school hall at last. When Prisca saw Brian enter the room, she quickly got up from her chair and started clapping.

She walked up to rub his shoulder and said, "look what we have here, welcome to the family Brian." Brian hesitated. He looked down to the ground, both hands on his slacks, asking, "Wh.. what does that mean?" Prisca chuckled and used her hand to lift Brian's chin.

It implies that you are now a member of our group, Prisca said. Oh no, he exclaimed, "I'm not dreaming right, this is not a dream," grinning at Prisca. Prisca guffawed. "it's not a dream we're now a family get used to it" . After school is out, we shall go to our unique place every single day. "oh before that let me introduce you to the family"

Prisca pointed each and every person that was there. "this is Joseph, Rose, Linda, Henry and Ben I'm sure he already told you that". "yes he did".

"Everyone say welcome Brian! "

"Welcome at home Brian! ", they all shouted.

Brian smiled. "thank you guys"

Prisca remarked, "Now go and buy us something to eat we're hungry." Give me the money, I'd love to, he said. Everyone laughed. He looked at them and asked, "why what is it?"

Prisca said, "Go to the cafeteria and get us something to eat!" Unheard voice of Brian: "What the fuck!" They're not advocating that I purchase lunch for five people, are they?). Brian forced a smile and added, "I don't think I follow. "what boss lady is saying is that starting from today you're going to buy us lunch using your money", said Ben. 

"thank you Ben for the explanation my throat almost got dry while trying to explain my self" ,said Prisca with a smile. "don't worry boss lady I got you!" . Brian clapped his hands together while grinning. "Oh, I see now. The problem is, I'm so stupid that's why I was perplexed. He said as he ran, "Let me go now, I'll be back now.

"boss lady are you sure we can trust this person", Ben said.

"That's what I've been wondering, too, Ben, don't put your faith in that fool."There's something fishy about him",Linda responded.

"Stop worrying so much, people; he's just an idiot trying to fit in, like you said. All we have to do is play with him for a little while, and when we're done, we'll throw him out," Prisca remarked.

"but… ", Linda got interrupted while she was trying to speak.

"shh! When I say we should trust him, we're all going to trust him, so stop asking illogical questions, okay?" , she yelled. "I'm done having this conversation" .

They all kept quiet and cast downward gazes.

Five minutes later, Brian returned. He was huffing and puffing and had sweat running down his face. He shouted, "I'm back!". Prisca guffawed. "Do you all notice that?starting today, things will be more enjoyable," she declared.

Everyone laughed. Instead of speaking, Brian was busy grinning like a fool. "Put the meal here, please", said Rose. The meal was set on the table by Brian. Joseph held Brian's hand as he attempted to take a piece of chicken for himself. "live him alone Jojo he's not familiar about how things are done here" , Prisca replied.

Unheard voice of Brian: (What does this mean? I'm not permitted to eat with them. "Bloody bastards!"). Instead of speaking, Brian sat down in the chair and observed them as they consumed the food he had paid for with his money. He speaks in silence :(I am currently being bullied, in essence. They'll try to get me to buy things. Oh my goodness, I just hope they won't force me to engage in any criminal acts till I achieve my goal).

All of them finished their meals. "wow Brian you're the best we're full now all because of your effort" ,said Joe. Rose laughed and remarked, "for real he's a life saver." It was now time to leave for class as the bell rang.

"I don't interrupt a nice person who wants to concentrate on their studies because I'm not that terrible, so you're free to leave. Okay, go to your lessons", Prisca said. Brian stated as he was bending down, "Okay!, thank you so much for letting me spend time with you guys. I really appreciate it."

Prisca responded, wiping her hands on his blazer, "no need for such niceties, we're family now right!? "will that be okay boss, you can use my head to wipe them" . Prisca guffawed. "I like this boy, no its fine go to class now" . He exclaimed, "Okay! "Brian took a stroll to class.

Brian went to his last few classes.

"Okay, that's it for now. Don't forget that examinations will begin on Friday of next week. Make sure to study since these tests are crucial because they will get you ready for your final examinations", the teacher advised.

Okay ma'am", the class shouted.

Brian picked up his books, put them in his backpack, and left for home. "shit I don't have any cash remaining on me and I don't want to use my card to pay an Uber because it seems like I'll need that money for the time being in order to be on those bastards good books" , he stated as he walked toward the main entrance.

"Let me phone my father and ask him to pick me up", he said. He picked up the phone from his backpack and dialed his father's number. He heard someone calling his name as he was dialing the number.

"Brian! Brian!" . When he turned around, Prisca was there. What does this b*tch want from me now? There's no way I'm paying for her lunch again, so I hope she doesn't want that," he muttered. Prisca moved in his direction. "Are you leaving for home? Come with me, I'll drop you off.

(What the fuck I don't want to go with you) , Brian said inaudibly."Yes, I'm going home, my dad was about to come pick me up."

"I'll drop you off every day, you don't have to do it anymore. Be thankful that I'm treating you this way because I don't do that with just anyone", said Prisca. Brian grins. "Thank you so much" . To go to the main gate, they both walked.

"Exactly!, that man is very attractive; they would make a wonderful couple", said the boy. 

Unheard voice of Brian: (wonderful couple my foot who would date a witch like her).

When they arrived at the gate, Prisca's car had already arrived. The moment they approached the car, the driver hurriedly exited to open the door for Prisca.

Brian and Prisca arrived at the car. "Wow P, that car is stunning. I could never afford to drive such a costly car. In my dreams is the only place I would ever drive it.Prisca grinned. 

  "where do you stay", she asked. Brian revealed his lodging information. Prisca dropped him off.The first thing that Brian did was to walk to the refrigerator.

As he picked up a pot that included noodles mixed with mix meat, he muttered, "Damn I'm so hungry the last time I ate was in the morning. He prepared a meal for himself and put the plate in the oven for three minutes of heating.

He once more opened a fridge and pulled an apple out to eat while he was still waiting for his dinner. He stated as he chewed on his apple, "Damn, I almost died of hunger. I hope and pray that this suffering I have put myself through will benefit me", he said, taking a sigh. 

We'll be writing exams on Friday of the following week. I simply hope that I can free my friend from prison by at least Wednesday. He is a strong man, so I have no doubt that he will make it through these last few days. He sat on the chair.

"atleast today I managed to win over Prisca, that is a good accomplishment, all that is left is to find her dirty secrets" . His meal was ready, Brian ate his food. Her mother walked into the kitchen as he was eating. 

"and then why is your jacket this dirty what happened this is so unlike you",said his mom.

"it's nothing mom I just dirtied my self by mistake while I was eating my lunch at school".

"okay then. By the way when are you guys starting to write your term 3 exams! ". Next week Friday. On Monday they will give us the time table". "okay all the best ". "thank you old lady!".
