Teddy had stopped speaking at this point. In order to reduce the number of years he would have to serve in prison, the police officers escorted him to the interrogation room where they persuaded him to make a statement. He didn't fall for it, though, and remained silent as if he had lost his hearing sense. He was only able to silently let the tears to fall into his eyes. Since they were aware of his lack of relatives and his bad upbringing, they harassed him. Since Prisca's father was a powerful man and friends with other influential people, all they wanted was to advance their careers by using him as a lure. They believed that by mistreating Teddy, they would gain something.

After two days, Brian visited Teddy in his cell. Since Brian is also a kid, they fortunately permitted him to do so because they thought he won't fully understand what is happening. When he observed Teddy's condition as he approached his cell, he was unable to hold back his tears. Teddy was dozing off on the floor with no cover. His mouth was extremely dry, and his face appeared to be on the verge of passing away. As if he hadn't slept for days, he had black bags under his eyes. "you poor thing, why do you have to have such a difficult life huh?" , Brian said. 

Teddy instantly stood up and walked over to Brian as he heard his voice. "these bloody bastards can't even let you out in place they're treating you like a criminal" , Brian stated. Hey, have I told you how ugly you are when you weep, Teddy asked while feigning amusement. "how can you make jokes in situations like this stop it" , he replied. Do they even offer you food in this place, my dear friend? He looked at Teddy and said, "You've lost so much weight. Teddy exhaled deeply. They do, but how can one eat while handled like a dog? Even pets get better treatment than I do.

He added while awkwardly chuckling, "Do you know that they made a competition with me", he said. "what competition now?", Brian asked, raising his eyebrows. They say that whoever managed to get me to talk will win a prize, so I'm being questioned by different people every day". Others have even threatened to kill me, and occasionally they have even physically assaulted me.Brian clenched his fists, "Is that even permitted, those bloody bastards will pay for this," he added. "Whether what they're doing is unlawful or not makes no difference. They only see me as a plaything that they can utilize to get rich. Brian sighed deeply and struggled to hold back his tears. He no longer wanted to cry in Teddy's presence because he didn't want Teddy to think he felt pity for him, which would make Teddy feel bad.

My parents didn't want me to come meet you because they believe that if they found out, they would expel me from school. Fuck that I had to come, though", said Brian. "Brian, your folks weren't mistaken. In this police station, Prisca's father has eyes everywhere and he manipulates them all like his puppets. I am confident in your love for me and would never question it. However, I would never be able to forgive myself if I caused you to be expelled from school. Teddy remarked while holding Brian's hands, "So please don't ever come back here okay.

I heard that I will be transferred to a Suncity prison. I fear that I might pass away before that occurs. I don't think I could survive there, after all. And Brian, if you could go check on my poor mother for me, I'd be grateful.

"I promise not to let it occur to you, okay. I'll devise a strategy. Don't do anything foolish till I arrive, please. You'll be free of this misery by the end of next week. Given that you are still a minor, are they even permitted to send you to jail? 

Teddy was speechless and instead sobbed uncontrollably as he realized that, despite everything, at least one person was still on his side. He initially believed that Brian had abandoned him in the same way that everyone else had. But it later became clear that his friend had been the real deal all along.Realizing that made him emotional, and tears were running down his face. After sobbing a lot, he felt a great sense of relief, as though something heavy had been lifted from his body. "Yes!, that is what I want from you. I won't stand by and watch you suffer in jail for something you didn't do. Brian reassured Teddy that everything will be alright. He was grinning and looking at Teddy. Teddy was overjoyed when he heard what Brian had to say to him. The fact that he has someone who is prepared to stand up for him makes him pleased, not because he trusted him to get him out of jail."All right, let me go now, hang in there, okay". Brian clenched his fist and yelled, "Fighting!" Teddy guffawed. "you're still crazy with those kdrama men of yours" . "of course I'm in South Africa physically but in S Korea by heart" . Teddy said, "There's no hope in you, so please leave my sight. Brian chuckled before leaving.

He was considering strategies to save his friend as he was walking. but was unable to think of anything. He attempted to look into the persons that Prisca works with, but he turned up nothing. Nobody wants to stand up. Everyone is concerned about their future and does not want to interfere with the powerful man's daughter. 

I have no choice but to confront that b*tch head-on at this point. Even if it will go to my level of pride, I simply need to go there and ask for forgiveness. I will then implore her to drop Teddy's charges after that.She will dismiss the charges if she still has any heart. He went on moving.

But for now, the main issue is how I'll persuade that b*tch to drop the accusation if she refuses. He stopped walking and scratched his hair, "He's a slut, should I just sleep with her?" I'll just phone an Uber, you know." I'll pay with cash because using my father's card will get me into problems, he added as he put the phone in his pocket. He made an Uber call and left for home. Fortunately, nobody was around when he arrived. When he got there, he walked to the fridge and got a yogurt, banana, apple, and juice before going to his room. "I'm not in the mood to cook and if I cook now I'll be just exposing my self that I didn't go to school". 

He made his way to his room, where he sat at his desk and consumed his meal. He worried as he ate since he couldn't stop thinking about his pal. "My dear baby, how much pain he must endure. I was unable to even inform him about her mother's passing. The shock would kill him. All I have to do is figure out a way to get him out so that he can at least bury his mother, he continued, shaking his head.

Brian visited the hospital to check on his mother before going to see Teddy so he could inform him of her health. His parents had been keeping a close eye on him for the past two weeks since they didn't want him to hang out with Teddy. He therefore missed the opportunity to see her. He made the decision to devise a scheme in which he would disparage Teddy in front of his parents, making them believe that he no longer cared or supported him.And it actually worked for him because his parents stopped watching him after he done that, giving him the opportunity to visit Teddy's mother in the hospital. But when he arrived, he learned that her mother had passed away the previous morning. The hospitals asserted that they had been trying to reach Teddy for weeks to collect payment for medical expenses but couldn't reach him. As a result, they had to cease treating his mother until the debt was paid, which led to her mother's death.
