They both proceeded to the hall, which was vacant when they arrived. They went to the chairs that were at the back. The seats had dust on them when they arrived. Teddy instantly reached into his backpack for a towel and cleaned both Brian's and his chair. 

Brian guffawed, shaking his head. As he sat down, he added, "If I had known how you would treat me when you want me to tell you something, I would have made up lies every day so that I receive a royal treatment from you." Teddy snickered. As he sat down, he continued, "you always make me out to be a nasty person as if I don't treat you like this every day. Both of them laughed.

We won't have lessons for the next two hours, so now tell me what really happened. I want you to tell me everything, without holding back on any details.

Brian laughed and exhaled deeply. Teddy pointed his index finger at Brian and smiled, "This is getting interesting why are you laughing huh?"

At Brian's house

"mom I'm considering seeing my cousin tomorrow because I haven't seen him in probably three years. He's been pleading with me to come see him over the Christmas holidays, but I don't want to do that, I want to spend it with my wonderful family, so I've chosen to go now," stated Brian. 

"well no problem my baby I'll ask your dad that but I'm sure that he won't mind either ",said Brian's mother.

When Brian's father entered the dining room where he and his mother were seated, he inquired, "What will you ask me?" "Well, since the schools are closed tomorrow, your son here wants to visit his cousin."

"then he must go why not?.My son did well in this term he deserves a break", said his dad.

"Thanks, Dad, but why do I feel like I'm being dragged away? As he stood up on his couch and put both hands on his waist, Brian stated, "It seems like you guys have been waiting for me to depart for a long time

His parents exchanged glances before giggling together. His father added, patting his mother's cheek, "is it so clear, I mean, we wanted to be alone for a long time, and you going to your cousins house would successfully make our wish come true. Brian said, his hands shielding his eyes, "eww! you guys needs to get a room."

"We'll soon be alone here, so leave as soon as you can,", His father said. 

The day was over, and Teddy needed to visit his cousin's home. He packed everything that evening since he was so happy that his parents had decided to let him go. "I'll call an Uber for you right away.", said his father. 

"why don't you drive me with your car", Brian asked.

Well, my car doesn't have any gas", he added, grinning at his wife.

Speaking inaudible: (these two think that I'm a fool they obviously want to.. Eww just the thought of makes me wanna vomit. I better get out here as soon as possible).

Ten minutes later, the Uber showed up. Teddy got in the front seat after setting his suitcase on the back seat.Teddy and Brian are living in the same township(Alexander) even though their houses are far to each other. Brian's cousin lives in Soweto. Within an hour the Uber reached his cousin's place. His cousin was waiting for him outside when they arrived since he had called ahead to let him know he was coming. When Brian stepped out of the car, his cousin rushed up to give him a bear hug. "Brian! I feel as though I'm dreaming. Is this really you?". 

"Brian coughed and said, "yeah it's me, now can you let go I can't breathe. His cousin laughed and replied, "you're still insane as usual." Brian guffawed. "can you assist me with the bag?". 

  After Felix took the bag, they both entered. The house was empty when they arrived. Where is my aunt and uncle? ", Brian enquired." They left for work and would return later".

"Now let's go upstairs I want to show you your room"

They ascended together. "Wow, this place is awesome, and when I'm standing by the window, I can even see the view of the town", said Brian as he was smiling. 

Felix guffawed. "I'm happy you like it. Let's go downstairs and I'll make you something to eat," he said. "Later, you'll unpack" 

"Okay let's go! "

They both went downstairs to eat.

One week has passed. Felix's parents made the decision to depart and went on a business vacation. Felix declined their suggestion to hire someone to look for them when they were not present. Normally, they always hire someone to watch over Felix and the house while they are away. However, since Brian visited. Felix claimed that it would be a waste of money because Brian is already here and everything will be okay for them both. They gave them a black card to use to purchase food should they run out.

"shit is about to be lit", said Felix. 

"Why do you say that?", Brian remarked, "I sincerely hope you don't have any plans to have a party here like a rich crazy kid". 

Felix chuckled, saying, "Dude, my parents would kill me if I took such a risk. Even though I lowkey want to do it, it's not safe" Felix remarked. 

"Mmh, you better!". 

Felix grinned. "However, there is this club I once visited, it's so lit even during the week it's always crazy. "I want us to go there tomorrow"

"you're crazy, I don't go to clubs, I'm young"

"dude have you forgotten that you just turned 18 which part of you is young? "

"Oh, I forgot about that, but come on Felix, clubbing is too much". 

"I don't want to hear you whine that your vacation was dull, instead, I want to take you to lovely places. Schools just got closed so let's have fun, okay?, said Felix. 

He added as he went to the refrigerator to get a juice, "okay fine, but do you have cash because you can't use your parent's black card in a club we will get caught and they will punish us both and there's no way I'm going to die for your sins."

Felix went after him. "Don't worry about that; all you need to do is take a shower, and then we'll go to town," Brian took a sip and said "and do what there?".

"Well, it's straightforward, when we arrive, we'll seek for those who are planning to pay cash for groceries. They will give us the money when we use the card to pay for them".

"wow how did you even think about that".

"Since I was 16 years old, I have been doing that, but my parents have never noticed. To them, it doesn't matter how much money I use as long as I don't purchase any alcohol or illegal substances", said Felix.

They both went to take showers in their rooms. At Felix's house, each bedroom had its own bathroom. Following their wash, they left to the mall. Fortunately, there were lots of people shopping for groceries when they arrived. They were successful in obtaining the desired funds. 

  "We need to look well tomorrow, so let's go shopping before we head home, Felix suggested. But if we spend more money now that we have already wasted too much, won't that be a problem?", Brian asked.

They traveled to a store to purchase their own outfits. They then proceeded to a restaurant for dinner before returning home.

The following night…

It was now 7 pm the night where Brian and Felix  were going to clubbing.

Felix yelled, "Brian, hurry up! What's taking you so long? You've been in your room for two hours!"

"I'm coming give me a minute! ".

Brian instantly exited his room while shaking and perspiring. "Dude, why are you acting like we're going to kill someone there?"

Felix thought it was too unsafe to utilize his parent's other vehicle. They reserved a car and traveled to the club. 

The club was overflowing when they got there. "Damn, it's busier than ever today." Brian grabbed Felix's jacket and stated, "that is why we have to go home."

"Bro, you've got to be joking. We can't do that".He grabbed Brian's hand and said, "Let's go buy some drinks". 

They entered together.
