Chapter 58: Newly Ignited Passions
Emary knelt down next to the river and scooped up a handful of water. The air felt even colder recently, so she chose thicker clothes when going outside. Early signs of frost showed themselves on the trees and blades of grass. Even the fish inside of the water seemed to move more slowly.
"What you doing?" A chipper voice asked behind her.
Emary turned to find Elanore staring down at her oddly. The vampire was still dressed in light clothing. So light in fact that Emary could see the curves of her breasts. She peeked up and down that crevice in her bosom.
The elf's cheeks reddened, and she turned towards the water. "I was checking the health of the forest as I usually do."
Elanore leaned down and pressed her chest against the back of the Emary's head. "Is that all you were checking?"
Emary felt that bubbling heat building in her core again. It was a feeling that she'd carried with her whenever the vampiress spoke to her now. She still tried to pretend she was indignant, but those effects never worked. The elf pictured the vampire at night. She imagined Elanore slipping into her bed chamber and climbing on top of her, and even worse thoughts clouded the elf's dreams.
The elven princess breathed in deeply and focused on her reflection on the water's surface. There was no way that the Elanore didn't notice the reddening of Emary's long ears or the thumping of her chest. And Emary's mind kept going to that moment she was pinned against the wall.
She turned around and fought her own embarrassment. "Rather than that, what are you doing? Coming to follow me around as usual?"
Elanore chuckled and showed her pearly white fangs. "There is nothing that I would rather do than watch you right now." The vampire leaned forwards and put a sly finger in the collar of her dress, pulling it down slightly. "Just like you enjoy checking the forest, I enjoy checking some other things."
Emary's breath grew warm and her mouth hung open like a fish on dry land. She tried to move her eyes away, but they remained fixated on the smooth curves in front of her. She felt herself bubbling with lust, and she felt the vampire's hand grab her own.
"What are you doing?" Emary asked.
Elanore shook her cheeky head and placed Emary's hand directly on her breast. "I thought since you enjoyed looking so much, I might let you see how they feel. Does this inspire something in your nature magic?"
Emary yelped and yanked her hand away, slipping down onto the grass beneath her. She felt the frost press against her back, and it inspired another whimper.
Elanore climbed on top of the helpless elf and pinned her shoulders to the ground. She leaned down and released a small warm breath against Emary's neck. "Ever since that incident, I have been craving you so fondly, and I feel it growing harder to hold back."
Emary sighed, her body warming despite the cold sensation of the ground beneath her. Her eyes roamed over the vampire's face and landed on her plush lips.
Elanore didn't wait any longer. She sealed Emary's lips with her own. The kiss was unbelievably clumsy. The vampiress pressed her lips awkwardly against Emary's.
It was nothing like the elf imagined yet everything she wanted. Their lips melded together in no certain way. It was clear that the vampire had never done this before, and that somehow sparked more of that feeling within Emary. She closed her eyes and seized the moment.
Elanore pulled away with flush cheeks. "I am sorry...I didn't ask you properly." Somehow the vampire suddenly looked uncertain. It was as if the kiss she'd stolen became a burden on her heart. "Did you...Did you want…"
Emary looked at the vampire's rosy cheeks with a grin. A small giggle left her mouth, and she sat up as best she could. "This is so very much like you, you little kleptomaniac. You've stolen my kiss, and then you would ask for forgiveness?"
Elanore nodded and looked away. "I will properly apologize if I offended you, princess."
"Stupid vampire," Emary said, sitting up and sealing Elanore's lips with her own yet again. She breathed Elanore in deeply, admiring the vampire's scent and tasting her mouth. When she finally pulled away, she answered Elanore's worries. "I forgive you. Rather, I have been expecting this would happen for some time."
"You have?"
Emary sighed and nudged the vampire off of her. She stood up and patted herself down, getting the mud off her clothing. "I have also been feeling the same way. All because a certain someone decided to…" The elf looked at the vampire casting her gaze down and sighed. "No, I have enjoyed this as well."
"You've enjoyed my constant teasing? Doesn't that make you…"
Emary pressed her lips against Elanore's again. "Don't even say it. If you do, then I will be forced to admit something about myself that I am not ready for."
Elanore grinned and latched onto Emary's hand. "Your secret is safe with me, but I think if they return and see this, they'll know."
Emary frowned and shook her head. "That sly dragon already knows. She played us both as fools after breaking that vase. In a way, doesn't that make her like one of the best manipulators?"
"You would say that about the person who allowed us to room in her castle?" The vampire chuckled. "You have quite the nerve. I had previously thought you'd be a stickler for rules. What happened to that person?"
Emary shrugged and began walking hand in hand with the vampire. Sweat dripped down her palm, and she couldn't believe how quickly she accepted this. "Rather than worrying about all of those things, I'd rather do that again."
Elanore's face heated as the two reached the hallway. "You would?"
Emary nodded. "I would like to do it more. I don't quite understand what it means, but it makes me feel good. Also…"
"Also?"
"I feel like it's about time I had a rebellious phase. In all of these long years I've lived for, I never hoped for much. The prosperity of my people was enough to ask for, but people showed me different things. Bery, through her artworks, showed me what I already believed to be true. She showed me the beauty of nature that I kept taking for granted."
"And what have I shown you?"
Emary pulled the vampire into her own room and closed the door behind them. "You've shown me that sometimes it's okay to let go of inhibitions. If this feeling I felt now was so wrong, then why would I be given it?"
Elanore allowed herself to be pulled on top of the elf. The vampire's eyes roamed up and down the elf's body. "Do you think that I serve as a symbol of bad things? Is that why this is happening? You are giving yourself an excuse to do them?"
Emary sighed. "I don't feel like that at all. Maybe at first I thought you would be someone bad, but I guess people are not so one dimensional." The elf ran her hand along the vampire's face. "I guess you can say, I've grown quite fond of you."
Elanore breathed in the elf deeply. "I have been quite fond of you since I first saw you. Admittedly that was because of your appearance only, but ever since I started watching you, I've admired you. Your daily routines and the way that you care so deeply. I held myself back."
"And that is exactly what I admire about you. Initially, I thought you were simply someone with no restraint at all, but you have strong impulses and are able to resist them. It's much more admirable than me. I never had strong impulses, so they were easy to avoid." The elf looked at the vampire's chest. "Now that I feel a strong lust as this, I understand it."
The vampiress nodded and leaned down. She pressed her lips against the elf's ear. "On one hand, I don't want to take advantage of your lust. On the other hand, I would love to take full advantage of it and explore all of you."
Emary moaned softly, a tingle running up and down her body. "Don't. The ears...They are sensitive."
Elanore pulled away. "I am sorry."
"It's okay. I just...I want to wait. Isn't it okay if we just kiss each other? This is the first time I experienced so many things, and I don't want to be overwhelmed."
Elanore grinned and nodded. "I would wish for nothing more. No matter what this greedy heart of mine wants…"
Emary looked deeply into Elanore's vivid crimson jewels, and her hands reached up to clasp the vampire's face. "Thank you. Give me enough time...And I will give all of myself to you."
The two met once more in a passionate kiss. Both of them barely had any idea what they were doing, but those feelings of uncertainty and ignited hearts melded together.
